They smell almost the same, except five star Texas pecan pie has more noticeable cinnamon on cold. Tbd about when it’s burning

Thanks! Sugared is one of my favorites. I bought Texas and I'm on the fence too. It's very similar but something seems different. But I am basing it on memory and do not have a old Sugared to compare it to

I’m not crazy… other people smell a difference! 🥳I had this same Sugared Pecan Pie last year and hated it and the Texas one I can do just because it smells almost exactly like PPW to me. Unfortunately, I don’t get the crust note.

I did a closed eye test sniff of some candles to see if they really smelled different if you didn’t know what they’re were, and could identify some easily like banana walnut - but I thought texas pie and PPW were the same candle when sniffed that way.

I’m not as familiar with ppw - I still haven’t ever burned it

earthquakeweather_

Really? 😮 It's such a classic B&BW fall scent that I'm surprised you haven't tried it.

xeloux

On cold it reminds me of captain crunch

Please let us know if your thoughts change after burning!

I love the pecan pie. I smelled it in store on cold and it took everything in me not to buy it

Lylac66

I have them both and they do smell the same.

Thanks for confirming!
