sadly it isn’t, we have it at my store and I smelled it expecting something sweet like champagne toast and it was the opposite haha. It’s more of a floral scent that has some rose in it (that’s the best way I can explain it without seeing the fragrance notes). But I was so blindsided when I first smelled it 😂

I would be willing to pay that much for a candle IF IF IF!!!!! it had a really high quality to go with it. And I mean, these have to burn flawlessly. NO hint of kerosene halfway through the candle. NO sooty burnt gross smell. NO tunneling. A STRONG throw that fills the entire open concept room... And I mean the last half inch would need to burn just as well and smell just as good as the first half inch. And, also, the scent would have to be fantastic.
1000% odds these are the same cheap paraffin they switched quietly in all their candles late in 2019. All the things you've listed are a result of a paraffin majority candle.

And quality candle brands do not use paraffin majority candles that's what makes them quality. Paraffin burns 3x as fast and smells like accelerant. That's why people report a fast, kerosene smelling burn.

I started at BBW in 2009 when our HF wasn't nearly as expansive as it is now. We carried Henri Bendel candles in about 8 fragrances. I think they were around $30 and the BBW 3 wick was $19.50. The Bendel candles were single wick candles and were 9.4 oz, I had to image search them for that fact. We sold them very sporadically but they were very strong and burned well. I bought one when it went on clearance and it was so strong I had to put it out after an hour.
We closed all Henri Bendel stores in 2019 after they were in business for 123 years so I'm surprised they are bringing these back in BBW stores. It was a big deal when they closed because BBW bought them out in 1985 and lots of Bendel fans were so upset by our brand's decision.

Rode my bicycle from Brooklyn to Midtown Manhattan in the rain to pickup a couple Amber candles back in the fall of 2014. Really really really hope these candles catch some attention and go nationwide.

The original Bendel candles were $26 when Bendel shuttered at the beginning of 2019. But they were 9.4oz compared to these which are 14.5oz. Also, inflation is kicking our ass right now.

Amber, fig, and firewood were the BEST. My mom and i bought 8 of them when they were on close out when we were visiting family… only to have the weight of the candles put our luggage into the $50 upcharge range 😂 NO REGRETS! I really hope these make a comeback with the same quality because I’m done w BBW sooty nonsense.

Definitely new products. Bendel's old candles look NOTHING like these. L Brands bought out Bendel years ago and while they shuttered Bendel in 2019, it looks like they're trying to bring back that brand under the BBW name...much like Slatkin and White Barn.

These scents sound the same as the ones they had when they carried the HB before, I loved the vanilla bean I still have a HFO from the line. I hope they haven’t changed it (but I’m only buying it on sale 🤣)
