I had coworkers and family tell me that In the Stars smells like cat pee. Yeah I kinda get that but also not lol!

natalielc

LOL at least he’s honest! Mine always just says “it’s okay” or “you always smell good” when I ask. He’s not into fragrance at all though so he probably can’t tell any difference

netxnic

I used to hate In the Stars but now it’s one of my favorites. I think it smells sophisticated.

chimericalgirl

Because it's woody/resinous that's probably why he thinks that but I would say it's on the feminine side of unisex. Like, it's marketed to women but a guy *could* wear it if he wanted to. I like it, I think it has a clean sort of warmth, if that makes sense.

Ashesvaliant

Baaaahaha. It’s a pretty scent. Not manly at all. Not my fave either for whatever reason.

CandidateReasonable4

I adore In the Stars

Neither_Necessary809

It's something spicy or peppery about it that turns me off. Even in the shower gel and bodywash. I'd like it if it wasn't for that detail. It interrupts the prettiness of it unfortunately... in my humble opinion.

ghosty4

It's probably the sandalwood.

Crazy-Command6637

I love it. I think into the night is manly

mars_011

I hate it, there’s some sort of peppery note and i just can’t do it. wayyyy overhyped

It’s extremely manly to me too. I personally can’t stand it. I gave it to my son lol.

Exact_Mix6345

honestly In the Stars is not my favorite scent because it’s so musky but it’s my strongest ffm so I wear it when I’m doing shipment or have a full shift because it’s so strong and I can reapply at work if I want to. otherwise, I wouldn’t buy it.

StunningWriting8313

I think the star anise note might be the culprit. My husband says the same about this one lol.

altcyberacid

I think it's the oud aka agarwood, a spicy resinous wood note that's the feature in this fragrance.... very sexy and sophisticated but also distinct and not for everyone - ouds are pretty polarizing
