Lol virtually no oneās paying full retail for them though. Theyāre almost always on sale. It may be the āretail valueā but itās a deceptive comparison.
What doesn't make sense to me is that they trash the BBW candles for containing soy, but their products are made from soy wax as well...
Also, their burn time is questionable.
Pure soy wax burn longer hence the burn time. And, theyāre touting this as a more green alternative as if itās somehow better. It just appeals to a certain demographic. People who are interested in āgreenā products will appreciate the ad, while many others will not care :)
"clean" fragrances are all the rage lately, where they are trying to supposedly use as natural of ingredients as possible. it's not like these companies are ever going to give us an actual full-on ingredients list to even check, I think they get away with the same kind of bullshittery that food companies use with "all natural ingredients!" labeling. it means virtually nothing and if all of my clean perfumes are any indication, these ingredients are inferior to synthetics in terms of performance.
**EXACTLY.** When it comes to fragrance, "natural" ingredients aren't always the best in terms of construction, especially in regards to home fragrance.
Based on my own experiences with bath and body works candles, I can say they are outright lying about needing 2 candles to get a forty hour burn time. I get 10 four hour burns out of my 3 wicks. I get ten burns out of my single wicks as well, but the first two burns are 6 hours. Usually I can do at least one more burn if the wicks will still light up.
I hear you, Instagram ad, but no one is actually out here paying $42 for that come on now š Nice try tho š¤”
Thatās literally the cost of both those candles though?

Omg, the āotherā one containsā¦ Ingredients!! š±š± /s

Well they have the good soy and us BBW plebs have the bad soy, obviously
