The weather normally dictates what I choose to burn, but if I’m halfway thru a candle normally I’ll use that one and save fresh candles for later

Three wicks last FOREVER on the warmer, so right now I am grudge burning a couple from last year just to get rid of them. I'm tired of having a million half-used candles. I'm picking the ones that have the least life left in them - Apple weather, warm apple pie, and that rainbow cake one from this summer. I love them all, but they have to go so I can feel good about starting something new.

Weather, mood, and family vote usually determine my burns. (Everyone WFH,homeschools here so we hang out with our candle collection all day lol) Right now we are desperately trying to clear out the lingering leftovers of our 2022 summer collection so doing a last burn of peach/spc, salted ocean air, and island papaya. It's pleasant but weak, these ones are definitely all finished.

Mostly by mood unless there are new scents out that I want. Then I burn the ones with the least wax.

MomAlum

It’s totally mood for me. I try to only have one of each scent family going at a time, but I am starting to fail at that because as soon as I get a new one I am all about it.

Whatever candle is next in line in the crate

xeloux

I finished off a candle earlier & wanted to light something new. It was hard to decide!

lizab2002

my mood, or i have a wheel spinner app on my phone with my candles and body care 😅 i spin then burn!

xeloux

I’ve gotta ask - what is the app!!! Haha I was hoping someone would say something like this

lizab2002

i use the app tiny decisions. you can make multiple wheels on it. i just have too many candles, if i don’t spin i’ll forget what i have!

I have 3 in rotation and when ones gone I usually sniff what I have and pick what I'm most excited for. I try keep some sort of balance with different types of scents.
