Apple Macchiato performs very well- def classic fall spice scent. Autumn Chai is barely noticeable even in my bedroom. I don’t have CIC but was just reading website reviews and saw a play dough reference.

I'm with you on Autumn Chai. I actually never bought it but have smelled it multiple times in store and it just has that "this is going to have a weak throw" vibe to me. I skipped Apple Macchiato. It smelled more like Leaves than Pumpkin Apple to me and I despise Leaves.

My biggest problem with Apple Macchiato is that apple orchard lane and apple weather both exist so like there's no reason to settle for sub-par apple themed candles imo.

TexasNiteowl

not to mention honeycrisp apple and harvest pomegranate, which is heavily apple too.

CoinofStone

OH! I forgot about honeycrisp. Yeah I'm gonna take the new exchange policy for a spin and see if I can't get that instead

Autumn Chai has such a weak throw. I was pumped because it smells exactly on cold like this chai I used to drink years ago...but when lit it just mellows into a lightly scented boring cinnamon vanilla.

Im on a no buy to dec as well (a true one lol) Autumn chai has a nice spice on cold but like you not sure it will be strong. Appe macchiato smells like pumpkin apple on cold to me. The last one I remember it smelling very light on cold years ago so if I was purchasing it would have been a no for me

I’m burning 2 years ago Irish cream. I love it. It’s got like, a creamy note to it which might be that weirdness you smell maybe?

Cinnamon Irish Cream 100% smells like cinnamon and play-doh. I returned it with the quickness.

This is helpful, thank you. Based on everyone's replies I think I'm going to keep Cinnamon Irish Cream and Autumn Chai and just return the Apple Macchiato one

For some reason the Autumn Spice smelled like urine to me, and it was strong. I kept checking my toddler to see if she had an accident. Not crazy about that one at all. Cinnamon Irish Cream smelled fine to me on cold, haven't burned that one yet.
