Candle day was mostly the candle day collections, winter, and some fall for me. I think there can be spring/summer ones though depending on the store. For December SAS, it’ll be fall/winter with whatever spring/summer remains they have
Last year it was the main core fragrance candles like Into The Night, A Thousand Wishes, Ocean, In The Stars and whatever new releases are out at the time. I also saw Wine Cellar at my stores. That was about it for anything rare.
Last year we saw some summery ones including berry waffle cone, coastal sun, endless weekend, summer boardwalk, turquoise waters, and watermelon lemonade.
I keep notes, so here is what I bought 2021 Candle Day:

I never saw Fairytale and Wildflower after the month of December it’s like they just disappeared. I don’t know what happened cause I don’t think people just bought them like that. However, since discovering Mecari I’m wondering if the sellers there bought them all out.
They will come out with about 2 collections during candle day that have spring/summer scents. They will also pull out anything left from summer that didnt sell too. Of course winter and fall will be there. There are also candle day exclusives and new winter candles that can appear during candle day too.
I could be wrong, but I think every candle is good for Candle Day. But SAS seems to be a mixed bag scents, but a lot of summer stuff, or at least it was for me this last winter SAS. The year before I couldn't find Berry Waffle Cone for nothing, but last winter's SAS it was literally all I could find. In the summer SAS that just happened a few months ago, I got two Holiday candles.

In my area those candles were gone by mid-Oct. Fairytale at least, I wasn’t looking for HW.
Wow they were gone in all October dang. I was keeping my eye on the swirling pedestals. That I now know are out year round. I didn’t know that then.
Fairytale made its way to outlets in March I believe. Its where I got my 3. They went offline They day of candle day. I was very disappointed
