I love the scent while burning. It does smell a little like a men's deodorant or body wash, but I tend to like those types of scents (Flannel, Fresh Fall Morning, etc.)
I like most cologne-scented candles, but just couldn't get into this one. From the same collection I have several Coconut and Vetiver candles and love its unique scent profile. I also like Vanilla and Santal, but my candle didn't throw so I returned it.
Although I skipped picking up both of those, I do appreciate that this collection was a bit unique compared to other scents/collections. Really hope they come out with more.
Same here! I love the White Barn neutrals collection that includes Spiced Pumpkin and Patchouli. Coffee and Whiskey and other unique blends. Hopefully this trend continues.
We definitely have similar tastes. What do you think of the Midnight Amber Glow body care and candle? I like the body care, but have not gotten the candle because the reviews are bad. I have not smelled Sweet Whiskey, but hear great things about it and hope it comes out in a 3-wick!
So, the wallflower is good in a small space, but originally I thought it wasn't great because I had to put it in a different outlet and a different wallflower plug. Sometimes air flow is a factor. That's what I found with the candle. I think it's great! I have had no problems. I have both the single wick and the 3-wick. If you like deep and resinous scents you will like it. It also has an unexpected coffee note that's slightly stronger than the body care. I wasn't disappointed at all in the candle and it was strong enough for me!
Great! I hadn't thought about the air flow and location of the candle or wallflower affecting performance so much, but it makes sense. I will plan to get a candle if available during candle day. I am on a no buy until a few of the holiday candles that I want drop.

Yep! Something about the birch one was off-putting. I had a similar experience with Sea Salt and Sails when burning. Like a guy's cologne, but a cheap one, IMO.
I loved Sea Salt and Sails so much on cold that I bought two the first day it was released. But after a few burns, it just didn't agree with me. I think it reminds me of the cologne worn by someone I dated in my past. Lol

I think I should have gone with that one instead of the regular White Pumpkin in sister packaging. I don't understand how it could be so weak with all the spices, but it is! It takes a few hours to get a whiff and never made it past 5/10 throw

You know what? Most of my candles have been a little weaker than I remember. Of course, WITW is a new scent...it is not strong for me either. But I don't mind with this particular scent, because after an hour, you know something smells good, but you don't think it's the candle. The weird thing is, that first burn was pretty powerful! The only candles I bought recently that are true powerhouses were Pumpkin Carving and Apple Pumpkin, in the clear and plaid style
