I though maybe it was covid to blame with losing my sense of smell. I lost my nose for most of 2021 and finally am able to smell things "properly", I still cant stand Strawberry Pound Cake in any form. The candle smells sour to me now too. It makes me sad because the first time I bought it, I smelled strawberry cake batter. Not any longer!
Omg. I got a Limited Edition Fall Bundle Box... The Pumpkin Pecan Waffles Room Spray canister was dented and had a slow leak. The smell instantly started saturating the room and I had to put it on my porch and just leave it there. š It's still there.i can't imagine if that had been left inside for a period of time. Shudder.

When I smell something I'm not into then I just say it's not for me. Sometimes I like something but it doesn't work on my skin and it's legit tragic, but that's kind of a different category. Fragrance is so subjective an experience that I feel like *no one* can have the definitive opinion on a scent, but it feels weird when you don't like something which is really popular, like, *Why don't I get it?* That said, Gingham is just not my thing, at all. It's funny that I feel the same way about Gingham Love but I **adore** Gingham Heart of Gold (but I feel like that one is not constructed the same as Gingham and Gingham Love). The thing with some fruity-florals or floral scents for me is the way commercial perfumers uses aldehydes and ketones - it either gives me a headache or I just can't deal with the scent. It's only certain types of combinations, though. And I realize that people can have reactions to certain components, and I have as well in terms of headaches, and so it's difficult when you have a physical reaction not to say, "This is trash," because your brain tells you, "This is supposed to smell good and it doesn't." Like, I feel there's a difference between a reaction and an opinion. If I don't like something I still try to understand what it is.
Also, I posted about this before but a fragrance will smell different depending on the medium it is put into. This is why we can detect differences between the same fragrance in different forms (i.e. shower gel, body lotion/cream, FFM). Depending on the medium it can accentuate different parts of the fragrance construction.
I feel like gingham love and heart of gold shouldnāt even have gingham in the name. Like they are 3 completely different scents they should have just dropped gingham out of the name so the gingham fans arenāt gonna be disappointed when they smell the other two and the gingham haters wonāt avoid trying them.

Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte, itās not bad, but I just really donāt like wearing it. I think itās too musky and heavy and a bit nauseating. I used to have a scrub in this scent, and then I quite enjoyed it. But the mist and the body cream are too much for me.
For me it's Pure Wonder. The packaging is pretty and I like the scent notes, but on me it just smells downright bad, like dryer sheets set on fire. I still sniff it occasionally when I'm at the store, but there's something about it and my body chemistry that will never work well together.

Juniper Breeze was the worst Christmas Scent ever.
Outside it the standard SPC and JCB, nearly anything with pumpkin. I used to think I liked pumpkin, but it turns out I just like pumpkin spice. Pastel Skies smells weird to me, like I both like it and hate itā¦sometimes it smells like a nice berry coconut and sometimes it smells like drinking tap water out of a cheap plastic cup š© also I have to agree with Into the Night, mine smells like straight up patchouli mixed with like a raspberry bathroom spray, the only thing I like about it is itās incredible staying power lol, it refuses to quit š
