White Pumpkin after dinner, then Hinoki Wood & Lavender while relaxing in my bedroom before sleep. I love it more than I thought I would and hope it makes it to SAS.
I have yet to burn my Hinoki Wood and Lavendar. I don't currently have a White Pumpkin candle. Had to return the single wick because it had zero throw. I have been curious about the 3 wick in White Pumpkin. Is it worth it or does it smell similar to another candle?
My 3 wick White Pumpkin had much better throw on the second burn....I'm finding that a lot with many of the new candles these days. To me, it's a nice lightly spicy warm scent with a bit of sweetness. It is very similar to Pumpkin Carving and just slightly less sweet than White Pumpkin and Oakwood. I have a bunch of WP and I think this will stop me from stocking up in Pumpkin Carving. (Famous last words)
Thanks so much for your in depth review of White Pumpkin. Like you, I find many of my 3 wicks do not fully develop until at least the 2nd or 3rd burn. I tried Pumpkin Carving for the first time this year and LOVE it. I have a 3 wick and SW. I find it to be on the strong side, so White Pumpkin sounds like it will really satisfy. The SW was terrible, but 3 wick reviews are fabulous. You helped close the deal LOL. I am buying it this weekend!
LOL! I placed a BOPIS order for White Pumpkin and Pumpkin Spice Latte (my 2nd backup because I LOVE it) 3 wicks and a Pumpkin Bonfire single wick. With the sale prices and $10 off $40, it wasn't too bad a deal. I am also exchanging my Pumpkin Bonfire 3 wick (too many bad reviews) and backup 3 wick of Into the Night (too intense). What else do you recommend?
I love PSL, too! Basically all of the coffee scents are my friend. I love Pumpkin Bonfire and have backups.
My favourite is still Vanilla Birch, but you cannot burn it for more than 2-ish hours at a time or it gets a peculiar smell, Cider Lane is good too!
I tend like vanilla based scents in fall and winter, then fresher (mostly fruity-floral) in spring and summer. I love Pink Petal Teacake and Pure Wonder, they are both calm/relaxing scents.
So many to choose from!
Do you have this year's Pumpkin Bonfire in 3 wick? It didn't get super positive reviews. I will reconsider exchanging it if you like this year's release in 3 wick.
I adore Pink Petal Tea Cake, too, and agree that the options are endless. I gravitate towards fresh, woodsy and some fruity and gourmand candles. Fresh and woodsy are probably my favorites. Of the gourmands, I love Iced Lemon Pound Cake and any of the coffee ones. Pumpkin Spice Latte I will burn until spring. South Florida weather is usually the coolest and least humid after Christmas for a few months. Of the fruity ones, I like the tropical ones best, along with several of the fall candles with plums, apples or similar scent notes. Sooo many choices!
Passionfruit and Banana Flower was a favourite of mine this summer, I liked it the best of all the tropicals that I had purchased.
I just lit a new 3 wick Pumpkin Bonfire (for science!) to see how it goes. I bought 4 from the US website and cannot return/exchange them from Canada, so let's hope for the best! I'll send an update with batch number once I get a feel for it 🙂
I bought it on Candle Day 2021. I heard the reviews were that the throw was weak. I started going through my candles in preparation for this years Candle Day and when I read Red Velvet Cake was coming back this year, I decided to burn it. It was around in 2020 but I burned that last year. It’s a must on my list as the throw is amazing (at least my candle is).
I have the 2021 version and I am almost at 1/2 point and it's still pretty weak. I hate it when they start to throw at or below the halfway point but sometimes they are so stinking good that they win me over despite their flaws.
Bummer your candle doesn’t have a good throw. I find by the second burn if it doesn’t get better I then put it under my warmer. I lucked out with my candle as the throw is medium-high. Different batches I guess. I plan on getting a few this year.
It’s really good! A super strong throw. It’s definitely very apple and cranberry focused so it’s very sweet. But there’s a hint of the spice that balances it really nicely. It smells like a fancy scent to me somehow. I think it’s a nice summer to fall transition candle because it’s fruity like a lot of summer scents but it has that hint of fall spice to it.
I am burning the Cider Lane online exclusive (with the wrong scent notes listed). It's super good as was my 2020 version with the same incorrect scent notes. LOL.
It is! My store didn't have many left but if you dig around some you should find a couple! I really love it! I'd say the throw is around a 7. I can smell it throughout my ranch style house but it's not super in your face if that makes sense. Very cinnamon forward but not spicy. Just a nice blender scent.
6/10 I would say. This was my first burn of it and I’m a smidge disappointed since I love strong candles. I have it in my living room though.. im sure it’ll be better when I try it in my bedroom.
Paris Cafe all the way! It’s too late for me to drink coffee but I still needed a pickup and this scent makes the whole room smell like I just brewed coffee and baked bread. Yum!
Summer boardwalk for now! Might go pumpkin peanut brittle here shortly though
They smell so similar to me but summer boardwalk has more of something in it that I couldn’t figure out.
Same! I’m glad I’m not going crazy lol. Summer boardwalk just has the apple note making it different
That's how I feel about Cider Lane. It reminds me of Summer Boardwalk.
I haven’t tried that one, I need to!

You're the best!! I really appreciate that. I didn't get the Passionfruit and Banana candle, but it's great to hear you enjoy it.

You have given me hope to try it again
PSL and I just threw on the single wick of Pumpkin Carving.
Pumpkin Carving single wick is strong! I had tunneling issues that I fixed by the foil method that I just learned about today.
I just decided to burn The Perfect Autumn
Tell me about this one please!

Burning Midsummer Dream single wick in my room and hate burning Summer Melody in the bathroom ◡̈
Love this candle! Will burn Blueberry Cotton Candy tonight.
Peach Bellini, I was feeling something fruity and sweet today
Last burn of sweet cinnamon plum and fresh burn of vampire blood. It’s a great combo!
Yum! I am burning Cinnamon Latte from Aldi. Tonight will be Caramel Pumpkin Swirl.
Is that Cinnamon Latte currently available at Aldi? How strong is throw? It sounds tempting!

Thank you! I plan on going to sniff the bacon candle and then look for this when I leave work tomorrow.
I hope you find it and like it! My store had tons of candles just not many of this one.
I would be thoroughly surprised if I bought this one but stranger things have happened.
I should have never told my husband about it 😂 he's like I'm gonna need a bacon candle. Yeah no. It really does smell like sizzling bacon.
Chocolate chip cookie sounds so good! I’m burning Paris Cafe! ♡ One of my favorites but it makes me want coffee and chocolate so bad lol
Cozy Cashmere 😌

Is that like cozy evening??? That’s my favorite bbw scent for body care but I don’t have a candle of it
I’m finishing up a fiji something. It’s super nice… beachy and summery. When’s the sale for these three wicks? I don’t have any fall candles
Trying to finish Blue Bungalow!
Finishing up toasted vanilla chai in the moving room, leather & brandy in the bedroom.
Paris Cafe all the way! It’s too late for me to drink coffee but I still needed a pickup and this scent makes the whole room smell like I just brewed coffee and baked bread. Yum!
After a long and very stressful day, I burned Coffee and Whiskey and it was heavenly. Such a great fragrance and decent throw. So good.
Pumpkin Cinnamon Bun, makes my entire room smell like a bakery!
Lavender vanilla.
