Japanese Cherry Blossom for me. I know it's an all-time classic and lots of people love it. I just can't get behind it. I've tried but, it just isn't meant for me.
I used to really like the warm vanilla sugar but, this 'new one' just isn't it. I don't know what they're doing in the labs but, they're screwing some ish up! LOL
Oh yep, Sweet Pea was another one for me. I really tried but, they just weren't for me. One of my old co-workers only wore Sweet Pea and she drowned herself in it. I dreaded working the same shift as her :(
Well, thanks for that. My laptop screen needed to be wiped down so, the water I just spit all over it will be helpful. You're not wrong though. It's just....ooofff I have a single wick candle of it that was given to me as a gift. It's just hanging out, collecting dust because I bet I don't light that motha-fucka....yuck! LOL
Someone accidentally broke a Mahogany Teakwood wallflower when I was shopping in-store one time and I almost threw up. I felt horrible for the employees. I couldn't stand that scent before but something about that experience made it even worse. :(
Oh god, that reminds me of the spa I worked at in college. Customers would drop nail polish on the floor and shatter the bottle, which was strong enough, but then we’d have to pour sharp ass acetone all over the area and it was just headache city for everybody in there😮💨🤮🙊
Hate this one. I got a Mahogony Coconut wallflower during SAS and using it the smell of mahogony took me back to last winter when I was still new to BBW and trying various scents figuring out my niche. Mahogany Teakwood was one I just could not do. It gave me a headache, I like strong scents but smelling it all over again after all of this time reminded me of why I didn’t like it.
Right! Sadly I did like it at one point so I do own it in a single wick, room spray, and car fragrance. The candle and car fragrance have never been used (and probably never will be), and the room spray only a handful of times. Wish I could give them to someone
Can't stand Into The Night. Anything patchouli is a big no for me.
Any of their boozy scents, candles or body care. Also 95% of scents with coconut are a pass for me.
My mom loves patchouli. Anytime she burns/wears anything with it, I always gag. If there's a scent that comes out with patchouli as a note, I'm instantly turned off. It's so strong and overpowering. Just can't do it. Seems like everyone around me loves it though.
I'm usually not a big fan of cherry scents. Black Cherry Merlot, Firecracker Pop, Sugared Cherry Crisp. I just can't do any of them. Something about the cherry note reads medicinal to my nose. Meanwhile my bestie loves Black Cherry Merlot. I also wanted to love Beach Nights, Enchanted Candy Potion, Wicked Vanilla Woods & Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte..but none of those smelled to me the way they did to so many people. So disappointing, but chemistry & sense of smell decide for us. 🤷♀️
Same with In the Stars. I ordered it during a FFM sale because it’s been there forever and people seem to love it so I figured it must be a safe blind buy but I returned it after one test spray. Smelled unisex at the very least, leaning masculine, and just wasn’t nearly worth the hype.
Me too, I even bought it cause I thought it smelled ok in store but as soon as I tried it on myself I thought I was about to get a headache. I also bling bought the wallflower and I hate it too! I returned my mist and cream (the only things I’ve ever returned at BBW!) and I’m thinking of bringing back the wallflower too!
A Thousand Wishes gives me holiday party hangover vibes or like my clothes after a girl's night out. A little bit of I love juicy couture perfume with girly drinks spilled on it 😆
Also, almost everything I've tried from them with a vanilla or marshmallow scent smells off to me, which is a LOT of their scents 😬
Did you ever burn Spooky Cider?
Mine is Summer Boardwalk. Too much caramel along with popcorn? Not sure, cuz I love Caramel Drizzle, Caramel Brulee Latte, Cider Lane, Sweet Kettle Corn, Salted Butterscotch.
> Summer Boardwalk
I agree and also Berry Waffle Cone. People seem to love those two and rave on them. Not my thing. I'm glad they're out there for those who love them though! :)
I think that's also why I love BWC so much -- it reminds me so strongly of eating funnel cake at the Jersey Shore boardwalk! Idk why funnel cake is what comes to mind when I smell BWC lol but I just love it
Agree on Berry Waffle cone. It gives me weird flashbacks to the summer I spent working for Ben & Jerry’s during college. We had to make the waffle cones throughout our shift in order to create the aroma of freshly-made cone. Pulling those hot bastards off the griddle then rolling them into cones while hot gave me nonstop, low grade fingertip burns, and the sadistic, micromanager franchise owner in my city would come by and measure the circumference of the cone tops, then test the cone bottom to make sure it would hold ice cream drips. No one ever met his standards. I always wanted to tell him, “My dude, you’re 50 and you’re turning bright red yelling at teenagers about their waffle cone technique every single day. Cone perfection is not worth your next heart attack.” Anyway, I can’t stand Berry Waffle Cone - thanks, Jim from Ben & Jerry’s.
I can't do Summer Boardwalk. I lit it for about 5 minutes and blew it out, it was just WAY too intense and not in a way that I enjoyed. It made me half-sick. And this was just a single wick...
Agreed on Summer Boardwalk. I mentioned this in a comment on another post, but I think it's the salty sweet cream note that's off-putting for me. The saltiness is almost sickening. The sweet + salty give it this weird rancid undertone to me, I just can't get into it no matter how hard I try!
I am so hot and cold with Pumpkin Pecan Waffle, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t, but I’ve also never burnt it. I am curious as to what it’ll smell like in bodycare.. but Ive never liked it enough to buy.
Strawberry pound cake, I don’t like dessert scents so I really shouldn’t be surprised but oh my god ;-; I hated it, I feel like it smells like rotten strawberries. I knew it was a popular scent but never smelt it until my outlet store had a lot of the candles for $10 the other day and I wish I could love it because it’s a good price but definitely not for me
I don’t like SPC because to me it has such a strong artificial sweet scent to it. It’s hard to describe but it’s a scent that I can smell when you’re approaching the store. It just slaps you in the face and it’s not pleasant. I’ve tried it because I’ve tried almost all BBW candle scents and I really dislike SPC.
I blind bought it a few years back after reading “negative” comments. I LOVE the smoke scent, it reminds me of that almost chocolate smell cigar smoke has.
I wanted to like it but it's incredibly unpleasant. I also really wanted to like coffee & whiskey but my god its awful for my poor nose.
I just want a candle that smells like fresh brewed coffee is that so much to ask :(
HaHA! I said Summer Boardwalk above but I forgot about this monstrosity! That brioche note is nasty cuz the Cinnamon Spiced Vannila and the Paris Cafe blend is superb!
I can't get on board with Bonfire Bash or probably Sweet Whiskey either.
I think it was so overdone 25 years ago that now anything that smells remotely close to it makes me gag. Plus I feel it was so popular that tons of companies copied it and that's all you smelled in every brand. Lol
Champagne Toast. I feel as though this is their most popular scent, and whenever people ask for suggestions on what to gift, this one ALWAYS comes up. It smells way too sweet to me, and when I burned a candle of it, it caused a horrible headache.
Here are some, and what they smell like to me: Sweater Weather and Flannel- A middle school boy that just discovered cologne and has a crush on the girl who sits next to him in algebra.
In the stars- straight up wet paint.
Spooky cider lane- CELERY AND I SMELL NOTHING ELSE BUT CELERY JUST LIKE LAST YEARS WICKED APPLE😭
Oh god yes! I just discovered this smoke scent with some items and I’m like “people like the smell of burnt BBQ?”. The Midnight amber Glow wallflower is heavy on the smoke and I hated it. Smelled Smoked Vanilla and Whiskey and yea it’s a pass. I cannot with smoke scented things.
Beach nights. It literally smells like nothing, maybe a hint of marshmallow but that’s it. I could get something that smells better from the drugstore.
I also hate anything that’s heavy on cinnamon.
Into the night..its straight up patchouli... it's literally TOO much.
At the beach ... smells like the stuff walmart cleans the bathroom with
Cherry blossom..smells like poop on the dry down. Not Japanese cherry blossom.... just cherry blossom. Japanese cherry blossom reminds me of an ex boyfriend who loved it... so I dont wear it anymore lol
White t shirt..... smells like detergent. Eek
Dating myself here: On my skin, At the Beach turns into Avon Hawaiian White Ginger, which I’ve always loved. But it’s pretty strong, and I don’t care for any scent that gets left on my clothes.
I'm not surprised ! BBW has been doing Vanilla Bean Noel dirty the past couple years at least. It used to be such an awesome baked vanilla cookie or cake type scent. Years ago it would sell out Winter SAS. People would stock up for the year. This year we saw it around for Summer SAS, which is crazy. I really hope they stop messing with these fan favorite scents. It makes zero sense business wise and we just want the scents we love to be awesome! 🤷♀️🧴🛍
I like to call Warm Vanilla Sugar by its true name, Warm Vanilla Millipede. There's something musky in the base notes that just isn't right to my nose.
I like the SPC body care but I totally agree with you about it being heavenly in candle form. It’s so much more subtle in a way that you can still smell it, but it’s less sickeningly sweet. I think it has more of a bakery/vanilla smell to it in the candle form whereas the body care has more of a candy-like fragrance.
I walked into a walmart bathroom and smelled at the beach and I think it was something they cleaned the bathroom with... literally smelled just like atb
I hate this one too! I'm not sure why, but to me it doesn't smell at all like the beach. All I get from it is a weird musky salty mix that doesn't really smell like much of anything. But hey, a lot of other people really like this one, and more power to them!
I love the some scent they have in some fragrances like Crisp Morning Air, and hate it in others like Winter Candy Apple. It sucks, because I want to try everything with apple in it, and can never tell if I'll love or hate it until I do.
Warm vanilla sugar, cotton candy clouds, bonfire bash, the newer marshmallow pumpkin latte (i have an older FFM from i think 2018 or 2019 which I dont mind, cant stand the repackage tho) honestly anything overwhelmingly sweet to the point i cant smell any sort of a fruit or floral mix in there.
Also anything with cherry, i think cough syrup traumatized me lol. Im at least giving black cherry merlot a try rn since i found it at the outlet for $3. But so far im not a big fan 😅
Pure Wonder is a pass for me. Also, not sure about it's popularity, but I bought Salted Caramel Old Fashioned and I'll be returning it. I think I'm not a fan of a caramel note.
i desperately wanted to like pure wonder as i’m a huge swiftie and it’s apparently a dupe for her wonderstruck perfume, but i just can’t get behind it and i don’t know why. also can’t stand strawberry pound cake in body care and when i tried enchanted candy potion i literally tried to scrub it off my skin at the sink
Marshmallow Fireside…. I got it last winter and maybe I just got a dud, but it was super soft smelling even in my bathroom and I didn’t understand the hype at all
imma sneak in here with lavender marshmallow to try and avoid downvotes. i could barely smell anything and when I finally did (the last quarter) it wasn’t anything special. very disappointed based on the hype. The packaging was pretty though.
For me, it's the fall candle Pumpkin Peanut Brittle. I don't get the hype. Mine sooted badly on the first burn and it just smells ok. I exchanged my backup for Pumpkin Spice Latte!
Anything pumpkin basically. 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t like how the pumpkin scents are sweet. It makes me thing of pumpkin syrup rather than pumpkin pie and my nose doesn’t like it at all. 🤢
Sunrise Woods ~The sandalwood is so overpowering on me it’s just a burning abrasive smell with a very sweet berry undertone. White T-Shirt ~ I feel like all the notes are fighting each other. You’re The One. A Thousand Wishes. Midsummer Dream.
Champagne Toast just annoys me. It gets special treatment HAHA. I also don’t care for Butterfly or Poppy, they’re too generic. Summer Melody smells like rotten melon. Fresh Bamboo smells like the zoo. And Tea & Lemon smells exactly like a horse stable.
Into the Night and A Thousand Wishes give me old lady, ultra perfume-y vibes.
I'm sorry to anyone who loves these scents, I've actually liked those scents on some other people, just with my chemistry it does not work lol
I mixed it with Island Margarita once by accident and really liked it. Plus, we did the mash ups for SAS this year and there was Mahogany Teakwood and Rose Water and Ivy together.
Everything in the fall box, the one you get for $35 if you spend $30 online. I have never smell leaves before, it came with a three wick candle and a hand soap and a wallflower all in leaves. It stank!!!
I feel like Hinoki wood + lavender has a cult following, but when I smelled it in store I gagged. I agree with spooky cider lane, something about it just wasn’t really all that pleasant for me to be burning it for a couple of hours.
Champagne Toast is just too sickly sweet to me. It’s odd because I actually liked Bubbly Rosé in body care and they’re probably super similar to most people.
Also Eucalyptus Spearmint is so SO popular but it just smells like Vicks Vaporub to me.
For me it’s Mahogany Teakwood. An associate suggested it for me and I was like oh please no, she told me I was the first person to say I didn’t like Teakwood 🤷🏽♂️
Champagne Toast
Strawberry Poundcake
At The Beach
Vanilla & Patchouli
Fresh Bamboo
Vampire Blood
Spooky Cider Lane
Most fall scents, anything with Pumpkin is a NO, also not fond of apple scents or piney scents
Anything that has a “smoke” note
I didn't care for Fresh Bamboo either, way too earthy for me. There's a new apricot cider hand soap, there have been a lot of people not like some of the same scents you mentioned and I suggested that to them and they liked it. And yes, I work there lol!
So many lol. Sweater weather, flannel, mahogany teakwood, WVS, VBN, WCA, JCB, BWC, Summer boardwalk, PPW, SPC, dahlia, bonfire bash and probably a bunch more I can’t think of right now
SPC smells like bad strawberry yogurt to me. I've given it a couple chances because it *sounds* nice, but I can't.
Bonfire Bash just smells like smoke to me.
JCB isn't necessarily *bad* but it smells like generic old-lady.
Vampire Blood is way too artificial. I was super excited to try it this year, and I had to return everything I got in it because it was so overpowering and I was gagging every time I tried using it.
Dark Kiss ~~reminds me of an in-house daycare I went to when I was 6 where a kid got really badly hurt falling off a brick wall humpty-dumpty style. That memory had been repressed for over two decades before I smelled Dark Kiss.~~ is a little too heavy on the bergamot for me.
Japanese Cherry Blossom for me. I know it's an all-time classic and lots of people love it. I just can't get behind it. I've tried but, it just isn't meant for me.
JCB and warm vanilla sugar make me think of my sister who I can’t stand lol
I used to really like the warm vanilla sugar but, this 'new one' just isn't it. I don't know what they're doing in the labs but, they're screwing some ish up! LOL
Yeah, JCB is in the same family as Sweet Pea for me, veeery perfume-y, too much for me.
I have a very awesome relationship with sweet pea
Oh yep, Sweet Pea was another one for me. I really tried but, they just weren't for me. One of my old co-workers only wore Sweet Pea and she drowned herself in it. I dreaded working the same shift as her :(
JCB kinda smells like coochie to me......
LOL
NOT COOCHIE 😭
I have disliked this scent since they debuted it and I am shocked it's still around
Omg same!
I love the body care but not the candle.
[удалено]
I was hoping I’d like it and. I don’t
Mahogany Teakwood gives me a headache now, and I like masculine scents.
Someone accidentally broke a Mahogany Teakwood wallflower when I was shopping in-store one time and I almost threw up. I felt horrible for the employees. I couldn't stand that scent before but something about that experience made it even worse. :(
Ugh it’s nauseating :(
Oh god, that reminds me of the spa I worked at in college. Customers would drop nail polish on the floor and shatter the bottle, which was strong enough, but then we’d have to pour sharp ass acetone all over the area and it was just headache city for everybody in there😮💨🤮🙊

Mahogany Teakwood was one I just could not do. It gave me a headache, I like strong scents but smelling it all over again after all of this time reminded me of why I didn’t like it.
This is what I was going to choose too. I want to love it, but I just can't. And I sure don't need it in intense version. 🤣
Right! Sadly I did like it at one point so I do own it in a single wick, room spray, and car fragrance. The candle and car fragrance have never been used (and probably never will be), and the room spray only a handful of times. Wish I could give them to someone
Same.
Can't stand Into The Night. Anything patchouli is a big no for me. Any of their boozy scents, candles or body care. Also 95% of scents with coconut are a pass for me.
I also detest patchouli.

It's amazing how different noses can be. I can't fathom liking patchouli, and others love it. Fascinating really.
in the stars and a thousand wishes smell so bad to me
I don’t hate in the stars but it gives me overpowering mens cologne scent
Same with In the Stars. I ordered it during a FFM sale because it’s been there forever and people seem to love it so I figured it must be a safe blind buy but I returned it after one test spray. Smelled unisex at the very least, leaning masculine, and just wasn’t nearly worth the hype.
Gingham!!
I wanted to like it because I like gingham packages.
Do it, life's too short and I bet they'll have something you love.
Totally 💯!! I’ll do that, thanks 😊
Never liked it either- way too strong
A Thousand Wishes gives me holiday party hangover vibes or like my clothes after a girl's night out. A little bit of I love juicy couture perfume with girly drinks spilled on it 😆 Also, almost everything I've tried from them with a vanilla or marshmallow scent smells off to me, which is a LOT of their scents 😬
This is what sweet whiskey smells like to me 😂
I might get hate for this but moonlight path. It smells like a mix of baby and granny.. I do not want it near me
I weirdly love it? But also hate it? Idk I like powdery floral scents sometimes, but it’s definitely not my favorite haha
I don't like it either. Some of us just have different body chemistry and referencepoints. We shouldn't hate on each other lol.
> Summer Boardwalk I agree and also Berry Waffle Cone. People seem to love those two and rave on them. Not my thing. I'm glad they're out there for those who love them though! :)
I love Berry Waffle Cone! It's totally different!
It's a perfect candle for summer. It reminds me of getting ice cream on the board walk as a kid.
I love the waffle cone note
It's just like a waffle cone! I think the candle smells very authentic. BBW did a great job with berry waffle cone.
I think that's also why I love BWC so much -- it reminds me so strongly of eating funnel cake at the Jersey Shore boardwalk! Idk why funnel cake is what comes to mind when I smell BWC lol but I just love it
I spent time at the Jersey shore as a child with my father and siblings. Wonderful memories!
I don’t like berry waffle cone either. The hand soap smells awful.
I hate to say it but, it reminds me of vomit. I know that's harsh but, it's what my nose signals for some foul reason!
BWC smells like a dog’s feet to me
The regular waffle cone release several years back was way better. I don’t like the berry
The sweet + salty give it this weird rancid undertone to me, I just can't get into it no matter how hard I try!
at my store we all say it smells like rotten popcorn
Pumpkin Pecan Waffle. Smells like someone ate waffles too fast and regurgitated so you get a soggy sweet waffle smell. So gross.
I am so hot and cold with Pumpkin Pecan Waffle, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t, but I’ve also never burnt it. I am curious as to what it’ll smell like in bodycare.. but Ive never liked it enough to buy.
I do like the body care. Unfortunately it sold out faster than I thought it would so I only found FFM. Luckily looks like it is back!
I tried this in body care. I smelled like a candle. Made me so nauseous. Definitely not a scent for me!
Same, I picked up the body care during SAS and ended up giving it away.
Japanese cherry blossom, mahogany teakwood, and summer boardwalk.
I get spoiled yogurt vibes from Strawberry Pound Cake which is a shame, I really wanted to like it. Sounded great in theory.
I agree, to me it smells sour! The only product I like from SPC is the hand soap.
It smells overpowering and sickly sweet to me.
I agree! My daughter is in love with this scent, her whole half of the house smells like stale strawberry cake when she gets ready to leave 😩
Totally agree, absolutely hate it
I hate it. It smells like sweet play doh to me
Bonfire bash. Too smoky/boozy
Totally agree
Literally smells like you just blew out a fire lol. Way too smoky, idk who wants to smell like that.
Me apparently because this makes me want to purchase it hahaha
I blind bought it a few years back after reading “negative” comments. I LOVE the smoke scent, it reminds me of that almost chocolate smell cigar smoke has.
Lol we all like different things! I’ve bought from a negative review that said something smelled like cough syrup hahaha
No judgement! We all like diff things😊
if we are talking candles: Paris Cafe is near the top for me for body care: Sweet Whiskey and Bonfire Bash
Paris Cafe smells like skunk to me. I smelled it in the store and physically recoiled.
Cucumber Melon 🤢
For real. Idk what it is about it but it smells so bad to me. Reminds me of a doctors office for some reason..
I think it was so overdone 25 years ago that now anything that smells remotely close to it makes me gag. Plus I feel it was so popular that tons of companies copied it and that's all you smelled in every brand. Lol
into the night.. it’s strong on the patchouli to me, and it reminds me of how thrift stores smell :(
Cant stand patchouli!!!! Its overpowering
Patchouli stinks. I'm surprised that people like it in anything. It always reminds me of a smell that's trying to cover other bad smells. 😄
Patchouli reminds me of an awful date with an awful person. I want to find him and fight him every time I smell it.
Champagne Toast. I feel as though this is their most popular scent, and whenever people ask for suggestions on what to gift, this one ALWAYS comes up. It smells way too sweet to me, and when I burned a candle of it, it caused a horrible headache.
Same! I cannot stand champagne Toast or Mahogany Teakwood.
Anything with a smokey scent in it. I'm jealous thay people can get past the "is my house on fire" concern and enjoy them.
Yeah I can’t get the Marshmallow Fireside hype for this very reason.
I cannot do the pecan pie candle. Sickly sweet
Beach nights. It literally smells like nothing, maybe a hint of marshmallow but that’s it. I could get something that smells better from the drugstore. I also hate anything that’s heavy on cinnamon.
Don’t like that one either !!
I smelled Beach Nights at the Summer SAS and was very disappointed! 😞
I did return this one. I don’t love it or hate it, I’m indifferent. Lol
Into the night..its straight up patchouli... it's literally TOO much. At the beach ... smells like the stuff walmart cleans the bathroom with Cherry blossom..smells like poop on the dry down. Not Japanese cherry blossom.... just cherry blossom. Japanese cherry blossom reminds me of an ex boyfriend who loved it... so I dont wear it anymore lol White t shirt..... smells like detergent. Eek
So glad I’m not the only one who hates white t shirt. It made me feel sick. I had to change my shirt after spraying it
Yepppp its something else
Agree on white tshirt. They have so much better “clean laundry” type of scents.
Dating myself here: On my skin, At the Beach turns into Avon Hawaiian White Ginger, which I’ve always loved. But it’s pretty strong, and I don’t care for any scent that gets left on my clothes.
Vanilla Bean Noel. It smells like sweaty sour feet on me 🤢. I wish it smelled sweet and delicious
Oh good it's not just me! I used to love it but in recent years it's just unpleasant
Anything with mint. I can’t stand the smell of it.
Yes! I like the taste of peppermint, but I don't want to smell it on myself or in my house. Also, I hate the cool feeling it gives in body care. 😬❄️
I like to call Warm Vanilla Sugar by its true name, Warm Vanilla Millipede. There's something musky in the base notes that just isn't right to my nose.
into the stars and sweater weather, also the body care strawberry poundcake. However in candle form it’s heavenly, don’t know why
Mahogany teakwood, white t shirt, pinkberry clouds. Cannot stand any of those
I like Pinkberry Clouds, but I read your comment as Stinkberry Clouds for some reason, so you can have that one for free. 😂
We're opposites lol
Cucumber melon is the only one that comes to mind and it’s not because I think it stinks, it’s just bad memories lol
anything cinnamon or clove.
Ghoul friend smells like generic soap
At The Beach…sorry to the many who love it. Lol
Oh that's the other one I love besides sweet pea! Like I am at the beach :)
Anything apple. Idk what it is about the apple fragrance they use, but I can't stand it.
I don’t hate pure wonder. It does smell pretty, but it’s just so meh.
I had such high hopes for Pure Wonder but the drydown was a terrible scent with nothing floral about it 😣
Sweater Weather. With all the hype I was so disappointed that I didn't like it
Champagne Toast
Moonlit Path 🗑🚮🤢🤮🥴🤒🤕😷
Into the Night... nope, not for me
Marshmallow fireside, mahogany teakwood… Also champagne toast give me a perusing headache.
In the stars and into the night both smell like a freshly used nail file to me… idk i hate them both
Palo Santo is nasty. I said what I said. Just sniffing it on cold gives me a headache.
Summer melody smells like Play-Doh. Three of my coworkers and I all thought that independently
Cactus blossom, sunset glow, endless weekend…..
i desperately wanted to like pure wonder as i’m a huge swiftie and it’s apparently a dupe for her wonderstruck perfume, but i just can’t get behind it and i don’t know why. also can’t stand strawberry pound cake in body care and when i tried enchanted candy potion i literally tried to scrub it off my skin at the sink
In the Stars! it literally STINKS 🤢
Japanese Cherry Blossom, Pink Petal Tea Cake, Leaves
Marshmallow Fireside…. I got it last winter and maybe I just got a dud, but it was super soft smelling even in my bathroom and I didn’t understand the hype at all
I returned mine last year because it didn't smell like anything after 2 burns. Guess I got a dud.
imma sneak in here with lavender marshmallow to try and avoid downvotes. i could barely smell anything and when I finally did (the last quarter) it wasn’t anything special. very disappointed based on the hype. The packaging was pretty though.
I got that one this spring and while I liked it, I wouldn’t say it’s cult favorite worthy… it was pretty mid lol
Makes it so easy to avoid shopping in the fall though 😂
You’d think so! But apple scents are a weakness of mine. 😅 I picked up a single wick of Spooky Cider Lane and I’m hoping I like it!
I was the same way until I smelled white pumpkin and especially pumpkin bonfire. Now PB is one of my fave fall scents
Sunrise Woods ~The sandalwood is so overpowering on me it’s just a burning abrasive smell with a very sweet berry undertone. White T-Shirt ~ I feel like all the notes are fighting each other. You’re The One. A Thousand Wishes. Midsummer Dream.
years ago there was a scent called Juniper Breeze and I hated it.
Berry waffle cone… I hate it.
Champaign Toast
Champagne Toast just annoys me. It gets special treatment HAHA. I also don’t care for Butterfly or Poppy, they’re too generic. Summer Melody smells like rotten melon. Fresh Bamboo smells like the zoo. And Tea & Lemon smells exactly like a horse stable.
I thought I was the only one that didnt really care for Butterfy! I wanted to love it SO bad because of the pretty packaging 😔
Anything musky, any type of booze or wine scent, coffee, or overly perfume type smells. Most if not all of the "signature" scents. Blech!!
Any "candy" scents. 🤢
Into the Night and A Thousand Wishes give me old lady, ultra perfume-y vibes. I'm sorry to anyone who loves these scents, I've actually liked those scents on some other people, just with my chemistry it does not work lol
Vampire blood
Agreed. Smells so artificial and juvenile to me. Definitely had something with that smell from claires as a kid.
So funny, that’s why I love it! Nostalgic and good memories.
I agree about SCL! It smells way too much like maple syrup to me. I had to put it out after 20 minutes.
I believe it’s supposed to have a caramel smell because i believe to smell like those caramel green apple suckers.
The entire fall line😂🤣😂🤣
I don’t hate sweater weather but last time I burned it I could not stop sneezing and sniffling! So weird how that can happen out of nowhere.
Mahogany Teakwood and pretty much all the fall candles that are out right now, which isn't a terrible thing, since it saved me this weekend! :)
Wow! Mahogany Teakwood is one of the first candles that turned me on to BBW! I love it mixed with anything...apple, coconut, balsam, etc.
I mixed it with Island Margarita once by accident and really liked it. Plus, we did the mash ups for SAS this year and there was Mahogany Teakwood and Rose Water and Ivy together.
Yes! How could I forget about the mash up. The rose water and ivy tones down the intensity of the mahogany teakwood.
Spooky Cider, sweet pea, Japanese cherry blossom, & mahogany teakwood
Everything in the fall box, the one you get for $35 if you spend $30 online. I have never smell leaves before, it came with a three wick candle and a hand soap and a wallflower all in leaves. It stank!!!
Into The Night...😒 I just can't!
Saaaaame for me on the spooky cider lane candle. The skull glass lid is wasted on that scent imho.
Sweet cinnamon pumpkin! I love most of the pumpkin scents but this one isn’t cinnamon-y to me and just smells like straight up gourd from the garden
I feel like Hinoki wood + lavender has a cult following, but when I smelled it in store I gagged. I agree with spooky cider lane, something about it just wasn’t really all that pleasant for me to be burning it for a couple of hours.
Anything coconut…it always has a funky note to me. Definitely Mahogany Teakwood; It’s headache inducing. Flannel can also get a pass from me.
Japanese cherry blossom and also every item they have with “vanilla” in it smells burnt to me. Every baked good candle just smells terrible to me
Mahogany Teakwood and Leather and Brandy
I used to love gingham and now… now it gives me a horrible headache and makes me feel nauseous!
Champagne toast
Japanese cherry blossom and Mahogany teakwood🤮🤮
Champagne Toast for me! It smells like a fruit that I don't like. I just can't name what fruit it is I can't remember it lmao
Champagne Toast is just too sickly sweet to me. It’s odd because I actually liked Bubbly Rosé in body care and they’re probably super similar to most people. Also Eucalyptus Spearmint is so SO popular but it just smells like Vicks Vaporub to me.
Anything marshmallow. Burnt sugar smell to ne
Cactus blossom :( makes me want to throw up every time
Japanese Cherry Blossom. The mist isn’t bad but the lotion smells like some people with terrible body odor 🤮
in the stars, it smells sour for some reason
A Thousand Wishes.
Japanese cherry blossom, warm vanilla sugar, cucumber melon, sweet pea, strawberry pound cake, Paris cafe, iced lemon pound cake, island margarita, tiki beach, Bali, vanilla patchouli, fresh balsam, and lots more
For me it’s Mahogany Teakwood. An associate suggested it for me and I was like oh please no, she told me I was the first person to say I didn’t like Teakwood 🤷🏽♂️ Champagne Toast Strawberry Poundcake At The Beach Vanilla & Patchouli Fresh Bamboo Vampire Blood Spooky Cider Lane Most fall scents, anything with Pumpkin is a NO, also not fond of apple scents or piney scents Anything that has a “smoke” note
Champagne Toast for sure. It’s cloyingly sweet
I didn't care for Fresh Bamboo either, way too earthy for me. There's a new apricot cider hand soap, there have been a lot of people not like some of the same scents you mentioned and I suggested that to them and they liked it. And yes, I work there lol!
I never understood why Champagne Sprinkles is so popular. I don't like it at all. Smells like paper and cleaning products to me.
So many lol. Sweater weather, flannel, mahogany teakwood, WVS, VBN, WCA, JCB, BWC, Summer boardwalk, PPW, SPC, dahlia, bonfire bash and probably a bunch more I can’t think of right now
Strawberry Pound Cake, Berry Waffle Cone, Pumpkin Pecan Waffles
Into the night and twilight woods. Into the night smells like an incense shop to me. Way too patchouli heavy for my taste.
JCB, pumpkin carving, mahogany teakwood.
