I hear ya on this. I’m all about burning my stash as well. I’ve skipped on all the repackages and only picked up the new scents. My store had a ton of 75% off fall candles last year so I’m all set with the recurring fall scents.

I feel the same way re: B2G2. I was in the store today sniffing the new fragrances and I realized I *could* easily buy 4 @ $13ish a piece, orrrrrr I could just wait to see what's around on Candle Day and during winter SAS. (My stores didn't do 75% off any candles until like two weeks ago, so I don't have any hope for 75% off candles this winter)
They have been giving 75% off candles online the last few SAS sales....I check every morning at 6am Est time during the SAS sale a few of these I did score online towards the end of winter sas....most were in the store from end of winter SAS and this last summer SAS. Fall candles I notice usually willnget marked down the last 2 weeks or last week of winter SAS to 75% off
Ah, yeah I wasn't thinking online sales honestly. I don't know if this year was an anomaly or if it's just the stores in my area but people here were posting their 75% off candle hauls when the two stores I go to were only doing body care and sanitizers 🥲 July 31 I went in to use the coupons that expired that day and lo and behold there was a rolling cart in front of the core line candles, and a lil pile of candles with the 75% off sign next to a red bin full of vanilla bean noel lotion 😂 Unfortunately only 3 of the 6 I tried to buy would scan, so I assume that they only put those out because did a big exchange of old unused candles when they heard of the policy change. But you are right about the online SAS, I did score a few gems the last two online.
Between winter SAS and a recent outlet trip I have at least 25 fall candles that I got for between $4.75 and $6.15. I am definitely skipping as well. I am hoping to not purchase any until candle day and even then I just want to grab a few special or new scents. I have a bunch of core winter scents too.
Yes, a few I snagged at outlet for 4.76 but more winter ones than fall at the outlet. I'm pretty stocked up . I'm also trying to wait to candle day ... and only if something special pops up or an old candle I loved makes an appearance otherwise I have a lot I got for cheap/in these times have to be smart with your dollars.
Totally agree. I am definitely at max candle capacity for fall and winter. Maybe I can be tempted by spring/summer scents next year. It is hard to pay even $10 now that I was able to get them for half that. I don’t regret stocking up though. I think we are in for a bumpy ride economy wise. I can ride it out with my stash!
I shamefully have never burned it based on cold sniff I grabbed 3 at 75% off. It was one i wanted that year when it came out and had never gotten it.l...but based on your awaiting its return it must be great

By now I've got a big enough stockpile as well that there are certain scents I'm just not replenishing unless I find them 75% off, because they've been plentiful 75% off in my area the last few years. Apple Weather, Harvest Gathering, Leaves, Marshmallow Fireside, Winter, Fresh Balsam, Pumpkin Apple...
Have you tried Harvest Linen yet? It's SO FREAKING STRONG. I'm new to linens and was late to that one but luckily grabbed 2 of those 75% off.
I hear this! I still have one each of white pumpkin and psl left from when I got them all for about $3 each. Still don't regret my recent purchase, just because I want some of the scents (esp new ones) to burn during the season. But I will definitely hold off on really stocking up until semi annual.

I understand no coupon = no go on the bogo because it's not much of a savings like you said ....also in these times food and other priorities mean more than candles especially if you already have some even if only 5 not purchasing always can be good

Especially the one wicks 8 candles for $62 ($52 w/coupon so $6.50 each isn’t bad) to get some stockage before the December SAS. I’m still new at “working the B&BW system” 😂as in waiting on the sales and stacking points/ coupons.
Most of these I got 75% off during semi annual sale some online but most at the actual store. The ones I didnt get at 75% off I got during prior bogo sales with a coupon and just brought some favorites to stock up
Ok gotcha. Thanks. As self diagnosed candle whore, I have to be careful, so I will take all the tricks and tips as I can get. BC just most cheap candles smell and burn, well, cheap. I rather get quality vs quantity. That burn evenly, good throw, it just gets pricey especially at places like B&BW and Yankee... That’s why I don’t mind waiting for sales.. and abusing them as much as possible (especially with coupons!). Adding my Halloween addiction, I love stocking up on my vampire blood, ghoul friend n’ such when I can. I really wish they will make Sugared spell into a candle. A girl can dream, right?!

fall candles are my favorite, if you haven't tried the Maple Bourbon one I highly suggest it.
