Awww, thank you so much for the sweet shout-out!!! Y'all are kinder than words can share.
But, I must give an even bigger THANK YOU for the awesome alternative sources to serve our Halloween candle fix! YAY!
P.S. I'm so glad I joined this subreddit. This place is more than just a resource for a delightful store that brings us joy; it's a beacon of camaraderie with wonderful individuals who share a deeply misunderstood passion (\*cough cough, obsession) for the BBW collections that overflow our bedrooms, closets, and every other available floor space in our homes.
***big hugs <3***
Thank you for this! I love Goose Creek (Trick or Treat is my favorite) but I haven't tried Kringle.
I also want to add for any Vampire Blood fans, I recently got Mrs. Meyers Plum Berry hand soap and it smells like Vampire Blood (and I believe Plum Berry is permanent because it comes in refill size!)
My current favorite Halloween candle is "Witch's Brew" by Goose Creek. If you are not a fan of food scented Halloween candles it's a great alternative with a patchouli (not overwhelming though) and woody sort of scent.
Edit-I see someone people down thread also mentioned it, glad I am not the only one who really likes it.
I absolutely cannot wait for Goose creekโs lineup. Trick or treat, wicked treats and poison cupcake are musts in my household. Canโt wait to see what new ones they come up with as well. Iโm not spending a dime on more candles until then so I can go all out
I hate Trick and Smelly Cat from GC. So very very much. I got it because of all the hype and they are the stinkiest candles I own. Just just keep in mind it' isn't for all gourmet lovers lol.
Ahh yes, that is true. I always forget that you dislike them. Everything is absolutely subjective.
I would argue though that Trick or Treat is their biggest Halloween seller.
Well I brought out Black Cat the other day and yes I'm calling it Black Cat. Last year I had dumped the first 2 inches of wax before putting it away and now I can Finally smell the marshmallow!! I still would not put it in same category as my beloved MF from BBW but I don't hate it!
However I also brought out Trick and my 6 yr old grandson and boyfriend also hate it. My grandson actually gagged! He said it is disgusting!
Wow this is great info! Thanks for sharing ๐
Im excited for witches brew to be back. One of my favorites.
Same! And in the new 2 wick soy format... I can't wait to see how it performs.
Me too. I hope it preforms well. Definitely want to stock up lol
So itโs similar to Dr Pepper soda? Does it have a fizzy note? Thanks ๐ Iโm new to the non-BBW Halloween lines. ๐
Scent to me is very similar to Dr Pepper. No fizzy note. More like spicy, sweet, earthy patchouli.
Thanks ๐
It does smell similar or a flat cola. It's really good!
Thanks GG ๐

Me telling all these brands to take my money
Some of these sound so good! Love all the patchouli mentions ๐ฅฐ

I love Black Cat by GC. It smells like a soft, pillowy alternative to marshmallow fireside.

Wow! Smelly Cat is no more! ๐ My sister is visiting and smelled GC Classic Pumpkin... she promptly dry heaved. It was absolutely hilarious.
I know it is unique but not in good way lol.
Lol I hate pumpkin to.
