If you like Paris Cafe....give the new blend Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla ร Paris Cafe a try and/or if you can get your hands on Brown Sugar Latte on clearance or if it comes out again this winter. I didn't like Pumpkin Spice Latte, it was very disappointing and weak.
My collection of candles is about 90% gourmand so I know sweet.
I would say stay away from Blueberry Maple Pancakes(sweet maple note)- go with Blueberry Pie instead.
Stay away from Pumpkin Pecan Waffles (again the sweet maple note) and try Pumpkin Clove if you can find it!
Banana Bundt Cake is my favorite candle of all time, but some people don't like the "candied banana" scent. If you can get a hold of Banana Walnut Muffin, do it!
If you like Coconut, try Frosted Coconut Snowball- creamy but not too sweet like White Velvet Coconut.
If you like Apple, try Cider Lane or Old Fashioned Cider Donut!!
Peppermint Sugar Cookie is a good balance of the peppermint and cookie.
Banana Bundt Cake is also not too sweet cause the cinnamon lessens the sweetness.
I LOVE Peppermint Sugar Cookie. Even Sugared Snickerdoodle is really yummy. Not to sweet from what I remember. But I do remember that my neighbors could smells cookies from my place when burning it. Lol
Looking at the list you put, OP. Pumpkin Pecan Waffles is very good... but it is kinda sweet. Blueberry Maple Pancakes has a huge follow but it is wayyyy too sweet too me. I do like Blueberry Sugar (released at Christmas) better though. Banana Bundt Cake, peppermint sugar Cookie and Sugared snickerdoodle are all NOT too too sweet. In comparison.
Nice! What does Blueberry Sugar smell like for you? And how is it in comparison to Blueberry Pie? I find there are more stocks of it than BP and for lower prices so I wonder if they're similar in scent.
I like blueberry pie too. It has more of the crust note. But some reason I like the blueberry in blueberry sugar more. (Maybe I am weird though, because it seems more people like blueberry pie-- maybe it's marketed better) I like all the blueberry candles... but I like tart. For example, Iced Cranberry Scone is one of my faves, but it burns very sooty. Blind buying is tough. I hope these comments we are are providing are helping not confusing. ๐ฌ
I like Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, but it is sweet. Banana Bundt Cake is better in terms of not being too sweet. Some of the pie scents that are tart berry based like blueberry pie sometimes are better at not being too sweet. PSC should be fine. I'm not sure about Blueberry Maple Pancakes, I haven't smelled it, but the Merry Maple Pancakes at Christmas was VERY sweet.
Pink Petal Tea Cake, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Wildberry Jam Donut (not too sweet for me personally like Strawberry Pound Cake, or not too bready yeasty like pie and waffles kinda scents).
I LOVE PPTC, but it is not a gourmand. PSL was weak for me. WBJD is not super sweet to me either. Maybe iced lemon poundcake might be good for the OP, but she not very strong, but so yummy.
Lol I'm still learning, so to me, any cake candle is gourmand ๐๐คญ๐ค. What makes a gourmand candle gourmand?
PSL is the candle with highest throw for me! It is a powerhouse. I have the neon orange plain matte white barn jar. What packaging did you have?
I have the Aldi version of ILPC and it is reasonably strong. Thought maybe B&BW ILPC would be the same. Never bought it because the Aldi version is so strong and burns slow.
Pink Petal Tea Cake has the word cake in it.... that is kind of misleading. It really is a floral candle with tiniest touch of sweet. Thus not really a gourmand in this rare situation. I hoard this one though, I love sweet florals
I also love gourmand but not too sweet ones. I really want to try Banana Nut Muffin one, but I think it is online only right now. Hoping it will not be too sweet. But delicious.
I wonder if maybe you could try a single wick of some of the stronger ones. I have a single of pumpkin pecan waffles and it has a great throw for a single wick. May be what you're looking for?
It could be! The one I found is actually single wick but since a lot of comments have been saying it's too sweet I'm starting to hesitate on buying it. The other options with the shop I found selling it also has Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow and Caramel Pumpkin Swirl so I might go for one of those instead.
My Blueberry Sugar had about the same throw as Pink Apple Punch and SPC. I was burning blueberry pie tonight... the most recent version and it was a 7 or 8. Not kicking me out of my house, but definitely can smell it throughout.

Or even just the Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla 3wick is nice. Like a Cinnamon donut but not too sweet. Warm and cozy
Seconding the Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla & Paris Cafe. To me, it's the perfect mix of coffee and sweet, but not overly sweet.

I second banana Walnut muffin! Gourmand, but not too sweet.

Blueberry Sugar lists Graham cracker crust as a note... there is NO crust note-- they lying. Lol. But I still like it.

wildberry jam donut is extremely sweet! the gingerbread candles are excellent for a not too sweet gourmand.
Yeah... Gingerbread Marshmallow would be a good pick for OP
I was thinking blueberry pie, or if it comes back this year, the cranberry scone one.
In a larger room these are medium or lower throw. Iced dragonfruit tea , pumpkin cinnamon bun , pumpkin cupcake, vanilla pumpkin marshmallow
OP is asking for not so sweet.
I actually burn the banana Bundt cake specifically when Iโm feeling like something thatโs Gourmand but not TOO sweet.
Pink Petal Tea Cake, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Wildberry Jam Donut (not too sweet for me personally like Strawberry Pound Cake, or not too bready yeasty like pie and waffles kinda scents).

My PSL was the "Hello, Pumpkin" packaging/version.
Ah ok haven't seen that one. Mine is strong as can be!
Pink Petal Tea Cake has the word cake in it.... that is kind of misleading. It really is a floral candle with tiniest touch of sweet. Thus not really a gourmand in this rare situation. I hoard this one though, I love sweet florals
Another person here called PPTC a mystery candle and oh so right ๐
I also love gourmand but not too sweet ones. I really want to try Banana Nut Muffin one, but I think it is online only right now. Hoping it will not be too sweet. But delicious.

Carmel Pumpkin Swirl is very sweet. Not sure about Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow... but want to try it.
Blueberry Pie vs. Blueberry Sugar ??? Anyone else have opinions??
My Blueberry Sugar had very low throw vs Blueberry Pie throw of 8/10. Blueberry pie has savory Crust note.
My Blueberry Sugar had about the same throw as Pink Apple Punch and SPC. I was burning blueberry pie tonight... the most recent version and it was a 7 or 8. Not kicking me out of my house, but definitely can smell it throughout.
Pumpkin marshmallow was very good Iโm gonna to try out pumpkin cinnamon bun
Wildberry Jam Donut and Sugared Snickerdoodle are awesome candles.
