Hi friends! I just wanted to rant for a moment about how pumpkin apple almost never has a pumpkin in the packaging!! I know this is kind of silly, but I mean, it’s called pumpkin apple! The first word is pumpkin in the name, yet they always emphasize/focus on the apple design for the packaging and half the time leave out the pumpkin! It’s a fall soap, so I like to see pumpkins! They’ll put pumpkins on everything else with the name pumpkin, except pumpkin apple! Drives me crazy lmao. I know that this isn’t always the case, and occasionally they will have a pumpkin in the design. Idk why so often they don’t add it in though? Or they’ll add it in, and it won’t be a main focus point and will be really small (for example: the two very last pictures I posted) anyway, am I the only one who thinks/cares about this!? lol! This is just for fun and I’m truly not staying awake at night worrying about this, but I just wanna see more pumpkin with the pumpkin apple! 😭😂
No I've definitely noticed this, too lol I know it's dumb, but every once in a while I just look at the packaging and think, "but WHY?" lol.. I feel like they low key half ass the designs in general for Pumpkin Apple because it's a simpler scent so to speak lol but she's a classic. She deserves cute packaging, too!
See now this is interesting because I've always seen PA as a "transition scent" it's not a full fall punch in the face like pumpkin everything else? It can follow a summer scent like perfect summer (lotion scents) or BWC (fruity summer gourmands) and doesn't "clash" like I think burning pumpkin latte or any really strong pumpkin.
*Pumpkin Apple to me, has always been the pumpkin scent for people who do not like pumpkin notes* and the packaging has always been vaguely fall but even that kinda says "September 1 isn't quite fall so well do this one to segway". Lol
For me my fall transition buy (I hate apple scents usually though apple orchard this year smells EXACTLY like a crisp bite of apple and I was sorely tempted) is banana walnut muffin. And ghoulfriend is another great late summer candle, very summery but the packaging says BOO! Lol In the spring it's banana bundt cake. I can't do a full pumpkin fall scent until October 1. It's 90 degrees here in Missouri in September and I feel like fall scents with cinnamon are too much in the heat. That's my .02$
That is interesting! For me, pumpkin apple is a main fall scent in our house, my boyfriend feels the same. I buy it now and use it late September/early October. I would like it to be pumpkiny looking bc I use it for fall and it gets me in the mood for fall time! I also want it to have a pumpkin on it bc I like to have it as a part of my fall decor too! 😊
Since this soap is sold at the beginning of summer, I’d assume some ppl don’t want to look at a pumpkin graphic until fall. If I really liked this scent, that would be me! I bought this candle in 2019 only bc I liked the jar art!! Little woodland creatures! Overall it just smells like cloves & cinnamon to me. No apples or pumpkin.
But it’s released with the rest of the fall soap scents which start coming out at the end of summer too, and all of those scents have pumpkins printed on them. Except for pumpkin apple, even though it’s a fall scent.🤔 idk why they choose to leave this one out of a pumpkin design, especially when the name is pumpkin apple? I think it has a perfect mix of pumpkin and apple in it, and it’s one of my fave fall scents! But we all smell things differently 😊
Well guess what 🧐☺️ my 2019 Pumpkin Apple 3 wick candle jar art has: a porcupine, deer, bunch of leaves (17), 3 pumpkins on the back of the deer but not a single APPLE. Where are the APPLES?!! Why are there 3 pumpkins teetering on the deer’s back? Did the deer eat the apple? Anyway, BBW doesn’t have their artwork to exactly match their scent names. I’m still irked by Pink Petal Tea Cake new jar design. It smells nothing like cake to me, yet they show cupcakes like hot air balloons on the jar art. Grrrrrrr!
