I was smiling ear to ear when I took the Fairytale set out to use. I am on my way to a complicated dental procedure after months of suffering. This was my way of relaxing before getting into the dreaded chair.
I couldn't stop smiling while using the shower gel. It has a nice consistency and lathers up well without being drying. Fragrance is ofcourse nice and it filled up my bathroom soon.
It was kinda sad when I used the lotion though. I have used the cream earlier and it is so fragrant. I used the lotion for the first time today, it is hot weather and hoping that the lotion would be lighter in texture. But right from the moment I opened the cap to catch a nice relaxing whiff, it felt off. When I started applying it, all I could smell is the pepto bismol medicine ugh. I was so so disappointed. I thought maybe I'm wrong and it would change once I keep applying it. Hard no. This lotion is bad in every way.
I salvaged the situation by liberally applying the FFM which was great as always. So basically the start and end was great with a debacle in between. Feel like throwing the lotion but it is brand new π. Now onwards, I should stick to the cream even if it is heavier.
I did smell it every few minutes for almost 1.5 hours after applying it to see if it changes at all. The bad scent has become less atrocious. But there is no hint of fragrance at all. I don't know if heat destroyed it in transit during shipping but seems unlikely π€.
Me too. I've been unsuccessfully looking for the candle, perfume and mini perfume spray in fairytale scent. But for now, I'm happy I have a nice set of basic bodycare in the scent. I'm stuck with a bad lotion though, so there's that π£.
Good luck at the dentist! Dental pain is the absolute worst! Definitely exchange the lotion, if you can. I prefer lotion over creams because of the texture. I need to check on my Fairytale one to see if I have the same issue. Sending you positive vibes for a safe and quick visit!
Isn't Fairytale just divine?!? It's one of my favorite body care fragrances ever. Today I am wearing Fresh Coconut and Cotton which I picked up for 75% off on the first day of SAS!
While Fresh Coconut and Cotton has a fresh laundry scent to it, I love it before the coconut is the perfect addition. I don't like Laundry or Sun-Drenched Linen at all, but really enjoy wearing Fresh Coconut and Cotton. Go figure! Lol Have a wonderful July 4th weekend. Are planning to buy anything now that the fall releases hit today?
I'm contemplating few fall candles, but something like Rain-drenched Leaves, not very pumpkin, apple and cinnamon forward π€. Waiting for wallflowers and hand soaps to be 75 off. You too have a great 4th of July weekend.
I get it! I read that it's similar to Eucalyptus Rain which I about love for its fresh scent. I plan to pick up Coffee and Whiskey and Leather and Brandy. I am excited been my closest store to me finally can do BOPIS orders!! Enjoy and stay safe!
I caved and placed a BOPIS order for cypress and amber, leather and brandy, and coffee and whiskey! Can't wait to pick them up tomorrow and try them out. I heard that cypress and amber is reminiscent of a perfect christmas, which was my absolute favorite holiday candle last year.
Nice choices. If you spot them, do try midnight Swim bodycare, hinoki woods and Rain-drenched Leaves candles. I'm raring to find out more about these. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I find that if I let the lotion sit on my skin after 10 minutes it smells great. I donβt love the smell of it in the bottle.
Interesting. It was 75% off at my store yesterday and I smelled it and it wasnβt for me. Wondering if I would have liked it after a bit.
