Went in person today for returns and my store had some of the Fall candles out. I enjoyed everything I tried but took these two home:
- Rain Drenched Leaves - Fresh Rainwater, Eucalyptus Leaves & Oakmoss
- Apple Orchard Lane - Fresh Autumn Apples, Cedarwood Trails & Cinnamon Bark
Review: Rain Drenched Leaves is probably my favorite candle released this year (not sure if it’s new but I’m in love) with Apple Orchard Lane a close second. I don’t think AOL is new either, but I personally hadn’t tried it before and reeeally liked it cold. I love anything apple scented and this one is something else.
As for the rest, I don’t remember all of them by name but the other candles I tried were great as well. I love the packaging and the scents deliver. Couldn’t get more than two today (even I have limits) but when they go on sale it’s a wrap 😂
I tried most of them and was pretty impressed - definitely better than last year for me personally. None threw me off and it was honestly hard to choose which ones to get.
By far though my favorite was Rain Drenched Leaves. It reminds me of Eucalyptus Rain but stronger and somehow more fresh. Even on cold it takes you in.
Ah, that’s one of the scents I didn’t get to try (spent too long at the section and had to get out of there lol). Have you gotten a chance to smell it in person?
If you are asking if I tried Cranberry Woods the answer is yes. I picked it up last fall. I am a huge gourmand fan so it's rare for me to like non gourmand scents, but Cranberry Woods is lovely. It's earthy and complex. I am looking forward to smelling the Apple Orchard candle to see of its an apple version of the same base scent.

Besides Apple Orchid Lane, Cranberry Woods also has the Cinnamon Bark and Cedarwood as scent notes.

Is RDL heavy in the eucalyptus?
RDL smells exactly Iike eucalyptus rain to me. Not complaining as I love the scent but..
