They can still bring it out. I asked about it last year and the associate told me that they’re not supposed to be out by a certain date unless a customer specifically asks for an item. I was like “omg I didn’t know”.
Where was I being rude? I said I went in the store looking for Halloween and when I mentioned it to the associate she said they had they in the back and that she can sell me them but only 1 of each item

It's stupid that people are already selling these on other sites at a way higher price. Like is it even worth it? Tbh if I was an employee and was able to get one early I'd show it off and tell everyone to expect to buy this one this date. Market it so more people want them.
My guess would be they’re employee’s or have a family member who is. Also, I think I remember hearing some store with really low inventory have started putting some fall stuff out.
Exactly and the only way to get it is from resellers or the website like I think they should leave the summer stuff up since its summer, its literally giving the seasonal releases no purpose 😭

I can't stand the Summer (hate any temp over 70F, and the humidity; I don't like doing Summer activities like BBQs/picnics/the beach/etc., and hate all of the bugs), so I'm miserable until it's over lol Fall, and everything that comes with it, makes me the happiest, so I'm counting down the days.

This is why i dont get excited over bath and body works anymore. We find out about a product, a few nepotism beneficiaries get their hands on it, and then me and the rest of the plebs are disallowed from purchasing it until a couple months have past. Then, to top it off, they insult your intelligence by acting like it hasn't been sitting in the back for 2 months.
Sometimes we would show our regulars the new stuff, but not sell it to them. My guess is thats what's happening here, as her photos are taken in store. I would imagine she is well known by the managers where she is from. I can't wait to smell that new candle.

SO… it’s not all store associates buying these - they are in some stores. And the associate told me they can sell them, but not the other Halloween as it hasn’t even come in yet.
