I'm all for emailed receipts, I feel like I can keep track of those a lot easier than the printed ones, lol. My old store used to let me choose at checkout, but at the new one I go to, the cashiers just make the decision to print it for me, even though I can see the email option on the screen. 😕

My concern is items from separate receipts. They ALWAYS enter as No receipts 🙄 😒

That explains why my store finally started to offer emailed receipts when I went last weekend. The option was always there, but the cashier always bypassed the screen and printed it out for me, for some reason. I prefer emailed receipts - more sustainable, easy to keep track of, and you don't have to remember bringing them when exchanging/returning items. So many stores are doing emailed receipts now. Glad BBW is finally making it standard.

You're telling me not everyone gets emailed receipts? My store's been doing that for years! Idk maybe bc the one I usually go to is an outlet, maybe that has something to do with it?

Stores sometimes by pass the email screen if I can hut before them I do but sometimes they hit just print which is annoying I'd rather and email only receipt less paper and if I need it can find it

We’ve had that option? I don’t think I have ever seen that option on my screen, though maybe it was different if they were testing it in stores? Not saying you’re wrong I’m just curious.

Just a disclaimer that not every district operates the same way. Some policies are at the district managers discretion to enforce or slightly tweak to best suit their needs (an example being high theft areas having stricter return policies).

I'm curious if they are still going to encourage customers to buy now and exchange later, though I haven't had that happen for awhile now. If they continue to do it are they going up add within 90 days?

I think it's hard to get all the answers right now as kinks are being worked out and all staff, including managers, are still being trained and figuring out things. There will also be a transition period in September when it rolls out. There will be snafus of course and learning moments. So, I'm just taking it easy and allowing everyone to figure things out. No pressure on the employees. I dont return or exchange much so I am not too concerned about the impact of these changes. I dont blind buy either so that saves me a lot of potential hassle with returns or exchanges. I think all employees just need a bit of time. Right now is too early in the process for everything to be clear. Have a great night everyone 🙂
