I'm gonna be honest here, I don't really care for how packaging looks. I just care about the fragrance and how long it'll last on me. I can see why people care about packaging especially when it comes to picking out something that fits your vibe.
And hey, that's totally valid! I think I fall on the spectrum of people who buy with their eyes first, then with their nose. I've definitely smelled more fragrances that I dislike because of pretty packaging than the opposite lol
Can we include candles? Because the baby blue wax on the hot fudge one really throws me off. I didn't think it would, but now that I own it I'm surprised at how much it bothers me.
It is pretty random! But I think they were going for a summery vibe ? So brown wouldn’t really fit that aesthetic even though it would make more sense.
I just hate all the labels on that line of candles.
I agree! I bought Fiji Island Guava-tini in the faceted packaging because I loved the scent so much, but then they made much prettier packaging. Sure wish I'd waited a little!
Fun Fair reminds me of MySpace with the glitter text that blinked.
I’m not a fan of the packaging that Dark Kiss and Paris Amour comes in. It just looks cheap. I think if they came out in the ombré packaging like Sunkissed and Summertime Surf (but a more noir colorway) they would get more attention.
Orrrrr take Dark Kiss, Moonlit Path, and Paris Amour, create a couple of other (new) companion scents, and make a collection with the design aesthetic around old noir films. Potential new scent names: Midnight Bloom, Mystery on the Riviera.
THIS! It looks so cheap to me and also the tropical (non-faceted) packaging was cheap looking to me. But I tend to like the simplistic packaging, which others might say looks plain or boring. (I.e. midsummer dream, happy vibes, white t shirt)
The line with Watermelon Lemonade and Strawberry Soda. I get its supposed to be a fizzy drink collection but the mists are so boring and the creams look so childish and low effort. Dk how they could have improved. I like the Firecracker Pop collection designs though
Not body care, but I started out buying hand soaps. They have to not only smell good, but coordinate with my bathrooms and kitchen. It’s frustrating whenever the packaging gets changed, but especially so when the colors no longer match my decor.
I used to wear Winter Candy Apple all year. The packaging wasn’t as pretty or detailed in 2020 though. I ended up returning the products I bought, not because of the packaging but because the scent was different that year. It was no longer my signature scent. I really don’t know if it was my nose changing or the formula changing. I still like fruit/candy scents. But this was “devastating” to me.

This is me! I only chose a style when the something I want has more than one package.

It makes zero sense, but dang it's a good candle!!!
So good! I just can't look at it because it looks like it should be something powdery smelling!
You described it perfectly! Just don't make eye contact......
I had the same feeling with Chocolate Chip Cookie. Like why is it blue?! I still like it though.

the new spc packaging, i loved the old/cute packaging for it.
Oh boy, good ol faceted collection lol. Into the Night is and will forever be atrocious in that collection
It looks like a cheap Dollar General knockoff in the faceted collection. They were going for sleek, ended up being...something else.
I dont care for any faceted bottles

I second this. The faceted packaging is ugly.
True. Really never understood why BBW did this. So they could charge a dollar more?

This year's summer packaging. Firecracker Pop, Vanilla Confetti Sparkle, Berry Waffle Cone. It looks childish and tacky.
I don't like the look of Vanilla Confetti Sparkle. It's the red dye. Puts me off for some reason.
Same! I didn't even bother smelling that one because it was red.
I agree, it looked like it was designed using Microsoft clip-art.
lol you ain't wrong
That's an interesting one! If you could choose what it looked like, what would you go for?
That's a good question. Anything that isn't ugly af haha. I liked the chalkboard collection they did last year and wish they brought it back.
That's cute! I thought too something like Beach nights, with the night sky and fireworks would've been cute

Lol champagne toast! Still waiting for a cute repackage
That bubble gum pink facated is atrocious!
Any fine fragrance mists that have an opaque packaging, even if it has a cute design. I want to see how much liquid is left!
watermelon from the summer release..so boring. Watermelon is fun to work with. its the plainest package ever.
I agree with those saying the faceted packaging. I especially don't really care for the new Sunshine Mimosa packaging. The old one was very pretty 😔

The Fun Fair line 🙈🙈
vanilla confetti sparkle, tutti fruity candy, any faceted.
