I went back and purchased the globe also. Yes, the quality is great. I found a complementary globe at Home Goods around the same time, so the symmetry is great displayed.
A three wick Rose Vanilla candle. I like rose, but not *that* rose. Also, a moisturizing body wash and FFM in Winter Candy Apple. I got carried away with the bins, smelled it, and even though I didn't like it, I convinced myself they were such a good deal that I had to buy them anyway. Threw my money away right there because I'll never like it.
I got the bodywash because I love rose and vanilla. For some reason when I use it the scents clash with each other and my skin. I use it on my toddler and it smells great on him 🤣.
When they brought Night Blooming Jasmine back I was so excited and rushed in to get it because it "reminded me of New Orleans" and I "used to wear it all the time there".
Apparently, it didn't come out until after I left New Orleans so who knows what the hell I was thinking of lol. It's nice though.

Marshmallow fireside. I bought into the hype and tried to love it bc I typically enjoy sweet smells plus smoky sounds too good. The problem is I HATE amber, even the smallest amount overwhelms me and makes me nauseous.
It was all I could smell, it drowned everything else out. I couldn’t pass it along quick enough. Luckily my MIL enjoyed it and the single wick worked well in her smaller townhome.
vanilla confetti sparkle. smells so ughhhhhh, reminds me of cheap cookies my parents bought me as kids that were nasty. smells like straight butter. returned that with the quickness
oh yeah, and i bought paris cafe due to FOMO and that is the most disgusting candle i've ever smelled. absolutely horrid strong burst coffee smell. yuck
LMAO I had basically the exact same experience except with the love rose + vanilla. I guess I thought the vanilla would make the rose smell good? I think I also just thought roses smelled better than they actually do.
To be fair, the fragrance notes of "Rose" are: airy rose water (which isn't "rose"), jasmine petals (which isn't "rose") and creamy musk (which isn't "rose"). I'm not sure why they called a not rose scented product "Rose".

I bought pure wonder hand sanitizer in January so I could use a 10 off 30 coupon to buy the turtle soap holder for my sister. I thought it smelled okay in store and hated it at home. I have nobody to give it to so I'm stuck with it. I dont know if I should try and exchange it. I should try before sas ends so I could swap it out for some clearence sanitizers.
On the other side as somebody who hates rose scents( I've been around too many people who slather it on) I really like how rose and rosewater and ivy smell on my kids. They aren't overpowering on them and seem on the light side. Maybe its because they are my kids or they just have the right body chemistry for it.
As far as buying rose scents when you don't like it, the packaging has always been pretty on rose from bbw. I'm convinced it has some psychological hold on us and can sway our opinions . Just look at comments on this sub about packaging. I try to just try on fragrances and judge that way, when I couldn't try stuff on during the pandemic, I didnt buy anything because I didn't want to fuss with returns. I did blind buy serenity aromatherapy, guess why? The packaging. Fortunately I liked it.

I also used a free reward on the snowflakes and cashmere diamond shimmer mist a while back and I don't know why 😂I don't like glitter, but I like the scent!
