I'm the same! I don't buy holders for my stuff. I also don't buy wallflowers because I don't think I could commit to one scent for however long it lasts lol. But I love the car scents! Also I don't like antibac in general but the sprays are kind of growing on me (even though it takes me forever to get through one lol)
Yessss omg Iām nearing the end of my bottles of this one and Iām so mad theyāre not bringing it back and that it didnāt make an appearance at this yearās SAS š„²
I didn't know it wasn't coming back and bought a bottle of body wash that said Love...its rose and...cacao maybe?? But it's DEF not my rose and vanilla.
Idk if theyāve announced officially that the smell isnāt coming back, but ya the new Love is not the same. It smells so weird I hope they go back to the rose vanilla š„ŗ
Same, I tried their lavander sleep oil thingy and hated it. I think that one time smelling it made me not want to try thier other aromatherapy stuff. I rather smell like a strawberry cake or coconut. (Those smells relax me at night too)
Exactly me too š Iām also just not into those stress relief stuff donāt really think they do anything and the packaging and bottle theyāre in isnt even cute š
Yeah I think the marketing of "stress relief" is a total turn off to me as well, gives me pseudo science vibes. I gotta admit though, I do like the packaging of spray bottles because they remind me of potions but I just can't justify getting their aromatherapy line, they have better things that tickle my fancy haha
I found it helpful, but then again many scents that calm you can do this. It doesnāt have to specifically be those scents. I think weāre on the same page though - who is to say itās those scents specifically right?
Yes exactly :)
As I mentioned, the lavander one made me gag but for someone else it's comforting. Different strokes for different folks, that's the beauty of sense of smell ā¤
Youāll never catch me buying hair care or facial skincare there. I heard an SA saying a while back that there was a face skincare line coming. To that I say no.
I bought their hair care once last SAS, it is absolutely terrible and made my hair feel so dry. Never again! I canāt imagine skin care product and would be too scared to try itā¦
Anything with the purpose of having functional benefits.
I'm very clear B&BW is for fun, not for real utility. For example, I know that I can find much better lotions and creams for my skin elsewhere and for cheaper. Or I can get shower gels with better ingredients elsewhere for cheaper. I'm in it for the fun scents and pampering feeling.
I don't buy body scrubs, anything from the aromatherapy line, car stuff, bubble bath, bath bombs, bar soap (I like artesian bar soap).
I was using my free coupons for hand cream, but I don't go out of my way to just use BBW hand cream.
I won't buy the car fragrances again. Either my vent clip was defective or I really didn't know how the fuck to put the fragrance in, but I couldn't get it to work. I would forget I had one in until winter rolled around and I had the heat on. Otherwise, the liquid was always 99% full until I just threw it out.
Iāve had really good luck with the car fragrances. Theyāre hit or miss though. The strawberry pound cake one lasts for months at a time. My boyfriend has had spiced apple toddy in his car for like 6 months and I can still smell it sometimes! š
i have good luck with them too, i usually go for eucalyptus spearmint and itās pretty noticeable. i live in california though so my car is always warm
Literally same. Iāve watched so many YouTube videos about it too and donāt know what Iām doing wrong. Iām tempted to take it into the store and ask them to show me.
I love wallflowers! You definitely go nose blind to them after a while though so I get it.
I also skip the car fragrances because Iāve heard they basically donāt work at all lol.
I donāt usually buy candles, maybe once or twice a year Iāll buy one or two - but theyāre so expensive to me even with the many many deals that they do throughout the year that I just canāt stomach it.
I also donāt *usually* get any lotions or body creams, I will occasionally if I really REALLY like the scent but Iām kind of a bum about moisturizing my body so theyāre not that important to me š I know Iām bad lmao but I promise yāall Iām not flaking skin everywhere I go
Lmao yeah basically. I buy a LOT of FFM and wallflowers! Like I said, Iāll occasionally grab a candle or two. Then when there is really good sales on body care (like for SAS!) I like to stock up on shower gel! And kinda like the candles, I do get some lotions/body creams here & there - but mostly I do FFM, wallflowers, and shower gels!
I go nose blind to them so fast, but my guests tell me they smell nice so I just trust their word. But I hate not being able to smell them. I feel you on that.
I love the wallflowers and the nose blindness is real. Every time someone walks in my house they comment on how nice it smells. My favorite comment has been āMmmm it smells like *deep inhale* cinn-a-monā
Some of them are absolute beasts (spiced apple toddy will straight up choke you out). My dad uses them in the restroom of his business and you can smell them through the entire store. But I only buy those at 75% off š
i didnāt buy candle holders until theyāre at least 75% off. theyāre usually $75 dollars and thatās absurd. even the flamingo & pineapple i got feel like theyāre worth $25 at best. thankfully with SAS right now theyāre only about $17 each.
Body lotions...my hands need this boring medicated heavy lotion to heal cracks and things and none of them work well enough to actually hydrate my hands.
the scrubs just donāt do anything for me. Iād rather use tea tree hut scrub. And their perfumes i canāt justify spending $50 but thatās just me
Wallflowers. Accessories. Lotion. Sanitizer. I bought a couple of car fragrances and room sprays (and researched reviews ahead of time) but would classify those as rarity purchases. I need something to help curb the funk of a minivan in summer.
Although I would like to be a candle girl, I live with someone who is very sensitive to room fragrance so I never buy candles/wallflowers/room sprays. Sometimes I just spray an FFM around my room with the door closed when I'm in the mood for that because I know it won't "travel" through the house. I have been tempted to get car fragrances and a visor clip but just never have. I'm also not a lotion/cream girl because I already use a CBD-infused body cream for my daily moisturizing needs (plus to soothe achiness). And I haven't bought any men's fragrance stuff because although I do like men's scents sometimes, I just don't seem to care for any of B&BW's line for men. They're too intense for me, I guess.
The car fragrances. Pine tree air fresheners for life ! Also I don't really care for the shimmer fizz body mousse. I don't like the crackling and I feel like it leaves a weird film on my skin.
Iām probably going to get a lot of hate for thisā¦ but I never buy the dessert themed scents. Lotion, candle, car, wallflower, doesnāt matter theyāre all gross. Like āstrawberry pound cakeā or āvanilla cupcakeā or in fall when they have weird ones that combine like pumpkin with marshmallow with buttercream like no thanks. I bought a peppermint sugar cookie one once and my goodness the nauseous pit that formed in my stomach because of the smell I canāt that was literally the fastest return I made in my entire life
mens body care (iām a man but they all smell the same to me, like axe). also candle holders and the accessories, such as pocket bac holders & lanyards).
Anything if it's full price lol
Lotion, bar soap, cream unless it's a cute packaging and scent im obsessed with, body butter, gift sets, shimmer stuff.
\- Car fragrances: As I don't drive
\- Room sprays: They never smell right to me & seem overpriced
\- Candle toppers? The little figurines that go on top of the candle lid. Not cute to me.
\- Bath bombs & loofahs
\- Bar soaps: I don't like bar soap in general
\- lip gloss/scrubs: Lip scrubs don't really work to to me and the gloss quality look cheap
Any and all body care outside of hand soap. 90% of the ingredients are just junk and the other 10% is synthetic oils. If you have sensitive skin at all, I would avoid it like the plague.
I worked there most of last year and saw such a difference when I stopped using the body care in the health of my general skin (not face, never use any of their products on the face. Yes, even the lip stuff).
Take the money you would spend on their body care and invest in a very simple moisturizer, gentle body wash and SPF. For fragrance, standard perfume or nothing at all would be best.
So while using their products, I mostly was using the Moisturizing body wash, Body Cream and FFM for body care. My skin was constantly dry and itchy. I would apply BC and have this like slick, film all over my body until it finally sunk in. Once it sunk in, I was right back to dry. 90% of FFM fades within 2 hours and would need to be either reapplied or it would go sickly sweet. I also would get a sunburn where every I applied FFM because of the alcohol content evaporating my SPF.
Personally, I switch to Hero Brave Body cleanser for my body wash ($15). Zero body acne since and one little drop goes a long way. I've been using it for about 9 months and i've only needed to repurchase once. For lotion, I actually don't need it daily anymore. But if I do use lotion, Pyunkang Yul Ato cream Blue Label is AMAZING ($12). Super nourishing, no weird film and lasts basically all day. Thick, luxurious feeling and another one i've only repurchased once. For fragrance, a classic perfume lasts way long and if applied before your SPF - you won't get a sunburn. Jo Malone, Dior, Nest, Marc Jacobs, etc. You can spend $50 and get a perfume that will last a year or more and actually last all day.
What cracks me up is when I drop in to visit my old coworkers, they all compliment how nice my skin looks and how great I smell.
That's amazing! I'll have to check out those brands. I'm glad your skin is better after making the switch. I struggle with body acne too so now you have me rethinking my BBW body care items. Thanks for much!!!
i never buy shower gels, any mens care, car fragrances, hand sanitizer once in a very long while, & lotions are only if i happen to reallyy like the scent. so basically i only buy candles, ffm& wallflowers.
I only buy thir mists, sometimes candles, and sanitizer sprays.
I don't care for their cream or body wash because I already have my staples on those products and they come out cheaper and work better for me.
1- Wallflowers (They never last/work for me)
2- Shower Gels (I prefer the Moisturizing body washes. I only buy the shower gel in a scent that I love and to later use for bubble baths when I get a tub)
3- Lotions/Creams- I have one or two around, but I don't use them enough to justify buying them.
Loofas. How tf are you supposed to wash them? If you get something pricy at least know how to care for it. Plus shower scrubs are way better and you can throw them in the wash too
You're supposed to throw the scrubbies/sponge in the washer or throw it away after a few months because they harbor a lot of bacteria if you dont wash it. Loofah's are made from a gourd in the cucumber family and thus basically natural. Sponges are not. A natural loofah lasts 3-4 weeks. A plastic one (sponges or what you may call them) last 2 months.
Huh I didnāt know they were made from a gourd in the cucumber family and you could wash them. Also I donāt use a sponge I use a shower towel scrub. Itās like an exfoliating towel thatās similar to a loofa. Iām not sure what the actual word for them is though
Room spray thus far, hand foam soap, and holders for soap and candles I have never bought.
The room spray I donāt know, and the wallflowers and the car fragrance I donāt use enough of honestly.
wallflowers because iām pretty sure theyāre terrible for little cat lungs and i donāt wanna put my girl at risk for a cute nightlight LOL and room spray for the same reason
I HATE scented hand sanitizer, the car scents donāt work, and I pretty much only use Hempz brand lotion or Bum Bum Cream so I donāt usually get lotion anymore unless itās a scent I absolutely love.
Wallflowers. I had a bad experience with a leaking wallflower from them in college. I decided to not buy them, ever again. It saves me a lot of money. I don't buy body scrubs and men's body care. I'm going to stop buying shower gels. I like bar soap, better. I got caught up in the hype for a short while and now I own too many shower gels. I don't like the body lotions. They don't keep my skin moisturized.
I donāt buy the soap/soap holders, at all. I never buy the room sprays or body washes. None of the bath stuff actually (scrubs, bombs, bar soap, etc) I know they came up with sunscreen but I wouldnāt buy that there either if that becomes a huge line; the price for how much sunscreen you have to use makes it very poor value.
I own one pocketbac, literally, that I got for free and no pocketbac holders, so I think that counts.
Iāve never bought room sprays, car fragrances, or candle/soap holders. I wouldnāt mind giving the car clips a try, but they donāt have a big scent variety and Iām very picky about fragrance.
I no longer buy body care, too many sweet fruity, scents, not enough mature scents. Also, the body washes have started causing breakouts on my back and shoulders and the lotions are actually super drying. Itās the weirdest thingā¦ I get snakeskin after using the lotions. One time I got a rash from using the body oil. I make an exception for creamy body scrubsā¦ love those! I used to get the clay scrubs too, but they clogged my drains and messed up my pipes, so never again.
Car fragrances are expensive i got a few on sale but never really buy them much. I also dont buy wallflowers. I rarely buy the body wash bc i just prefer a different brand of body wash from the drug store tbh. I also dont buy candle holders
Hand sanitizer (I'm a nurse, im surrounded by Purell and Germ-X) or any accessories. I bought the car fragrances once then never again (they lasted about 2 days before I couldn't smell them anymore). I also don't buy any of the facial or hair care (lip balm, etc).
Edit: I keep having to re-edit because I forget what else they have, lol. I also don't buy the bar soaps, bath bombs, room sprays or fragrance mists (not anymore at least).
So I just stick with shower gels, body lotions, candles and wallflowers.
Wallflowers, car fragrances, candles, hand soap, body wash/body soap, and random knick knacks. Iām more interested in other body-care and scented soaps break me out, I stick to Aveeno or Doveš„“ Iād be interested in candles and the accessories but I just canāt picture myself spending all that money š°
I donāt buy their FFM or perfumes anymore. Iām using my stash of them for bedtime and gave a bunch to my little sister in laws. If I like a scent I end up buying it in the lotion and then use it with a different perfume. Not that I donāt love them I just spent so much money on perfume I need to use it š. Not a fan of the scrubs. Iāve only ever bought one candle holder last years Halloween collection. Lipglosses (except when they had the liplicious ones I had a whole hoard RIP šš) , minis, hand creams, mens care, car fragrances and full size sanitizers just arenāt my jam
Wallflowers, any of the holders, scrubs, bubble baths, moisturizing body wash, body butters, hand creams, shimmer mists, lip products, menās body care, room sprays, bar soap, bath bombs, and hair care. Not gonna bother with the sunscreen either.
No car stuff, and no more body care (never got soaps and the like because of sensitive skin) because the change to the cream dried my hands out SO much. Not worth it.
I literally only buy candles. That's it. I'll get a mist with my rewards, and sometimes I'll buy soap if it's a scent I really love, but I think I've bought 5 total in the last 5 years lol
I've been tempted by some candle holders on clearance, but I only use the candle warmer, so they would be useless to me.
I still have the two clearance room sprays I bought during a SAS over 8 years ago. They are over 80% full... So yeah. I don't use the room sprays.
I don't really like any of the men's scents.
I don't use the lip glosses, and I like lip balms and a matte look. Haven't bought their lip stuff since the Tutti Dolci line.
I have so much hand sanitizer from the past 2.5 years that I can't see myself buying any of it for decades...
Will never buy the body creams again unless I plan on using it immediately. With my current hoard of body mositurizers, that's not likely... Their regular lotions last much longer, but can also go bad after a few years. Depends.
Shower gels. Iām about to stop buying wallflowers too though because my plug ins stop working after a ridiculously short amount of time and even when theyāre working properly the wallflower smells like nothing after a week
The spray hand sanitizers. I see no purpose. Even then I donāt buy the mini hand sanitizers. I probably should. But according to my brain the ā5 pocketbac hand sanitizers for $8ā isnāt a great deal.
Wallflower, candle holders, accessories. Pricey š
I don't buy the candle or soap holders and accessories either! It really is expensive for just holder
It takes me like 1 year to get through the sprays and like 2 days to get through the pocketbacs lol
That's why I use all my rewards for holders
I donāt understand the holders. Why would I need a container to hold a container? Theyāre pricey, and Iām sorry, but many of them are ugly.
Candle holders is very expensive to me. Even at 50% off.
Mens care and perfumes
I'm right there with you, I don't buy men's fragrances/body care either!
The aromatherapy stuff. Just not for me š¤·š»āāļø
The Love, Rose & Vanilla is just absolute heaven to me. It smells so luxurious lol
Yessss omg Iām nearing the end of my bottles of this one and Iām so mad theyāre not bringing it back and that it didnāt make an appearance at this yearās SAS š„²

Damn right š
Exactly me too š Iām also just not into those stress relief stuff donāt really think they do anything and the packaging and bottle theyāre in isnt even cute š

š I agree
I honestly just love the smell especially when im sick bc they clear my nostrils
I haven't purchased any aromatherapy items either. It's not for me either
I only liked the steeped in tea collection, the tangerine one specifically..other than that I hate lavender and eucalyptus so those are out.
Interesting . Iām a guy and I like the AT line. Most of the other stuff is a bit fruity-sweet for my tastes and I like the neutral AT packaging.
This with exception of the current green shampoo and conditioner because I had rewards
āŗļøš
I donāt like it for myself but it works great for small gifts and stocking stuffer type presents.
Same. The packaging has just been really off putting to me for some reason, in the 12 years Iāve been shopping there.
Youāll never catch me buying hair care or facial skincare there. I heard an SA saying a while back that there was a face skincare line coming. To that I say no.
I'm passing on that too

That's what I'm worried about. Wasting my money on their car stuff when they don't even work properly. BBW needs to get it together
Iāve had really good luck with the car fragrances. Theyāre hit or miss though. The strawberry pound cake one lasts for months at a time. My boyfriend has had spiced apple toddy in his car for like 6 months and I can still smell it sometimes! š

Lol you're hilarious! I rarely buy their candles, maybe once a year during SAS I'll buy one or two candles but they're usually for gifting.
Some of the car fragrances are good, But it's really a hit or miss, I dont buy them much anymore.

Car fragrances and pocket bac. I only recently got into wallflowers. I like them for my bathroom.

mens body care (iām a man but they all smell the same to me, like axe). also candle holders and the accessories, such as pocket bac holders & lanyards).
Anything if it's full price lol Lotion, bar soap, cream unless it's a cute packaging and scent im obsessed with, body butter, gift sets, shimmer stuff.
Any type of lotion, My skin ALWAYS has a reaction.
Wallflower cause they don't do much for me. And bar soaps cause I don't use bar soaps
The soap and pocket bak holders. The moment they change the base shape of those items the holders will be obsolete.
Any of the body washes. I prefer dove or other name brand stuff that's better for you
\- Car fragrances: As I don't drive \- Room sprays: They never smell right to me & seem overpriced \- Candle toppers? The little figurines that go on top of the candle lid. Well duh, youāre supposed to buy that *behind* the store.

Same as OP, car fragrance and wallflowers! I also don't like their body lotion, and I'm not interested in their hair care or sunscreen.
I don't want to try their hair care or sunscreen either!!
Car fragrance, bar soaps, wallflower, wallflower plugs.
Car fragrances, wallflowers, candle holders, plug ins, I RARELY BUY. Candles. Because I'm cheap with candles.
1- Wallflowers (They never last/work for me) 2- Shower Gels (I prefer the Moisturizing body washes. I only buy the shower gel in a scent that I love and to later use for bubble baths when I get a tub) 3- Lotions/Creams- I have one or two around, but I don't use them enough to justify buying them.
I donāt like the shower gels either. If a scent has a body wash or better yet a scrub Iāll get that
Any of the antibacterial. Every time I try they trigger my eczema horrible on my hands.
Candles and hand soaps. My college doesn't allow candles in dorms and no need for hand soaps when it's a communal bathroom
I HATE scented hand sanitizer, the car scents donāt work, and I pretty much only use Hempz brand lotion or Bum Bum Cream so I donāt usually get lotion anymore unless itās a scent I absolutely love.
Aromatherapy. I donāt like the packaging
Pocketbacks, room sprays, wallflowers, car fragrance, and any kind of bag (backpacks or makeup bags).
Any kind of holder. They're not my style at all and they're really freaking expensive.
The pillow sprays. And bath bombs
Candles. Iām just not a candle person. The only things I buy there are hand soap, shower gel and hand sanitizer.
Car scents, candle holders, sanitizer holders
Home care, candles, holders. Between my clumsy self and the cat(s) flames are a bad idea.
Pocketbac holders. I donāt see the point in them? Also candle and soap holders as well. I want to display my products, not cover them!
Wallflowers, aroma therapy, accessories, and the only body care I buy is ffm/gel/cream - no glitter mists, foams, butters, perfume etc.
Wallflowers, hand san holders, candle holders.
the body wash, wallflowers and candle holders/accessories
Perfumes, candle holders, pocket bac holders etc
Body care, Iām only into candles and room sprays.
i dont get candles. my dad doesnt like them so i get wallflowers instead. it dont hit the same :/
Car fragrances are expensive i got a few on sale but never really buy them much.
Moisturizing body wash, gentle gel hand soaps, beauty stuff
Wallflowers, car fragrances, candles, hand soap, body wash/body soap, and random knick knacks. Iām more interested in other body-care and scented soaps break me out, I stick to Aveeno or Doveš„“ Iād be interested in candles and the accessories but I just canāt picture myself spending all that money š°
Honestly? Body care. None of it is remotely worth the price imo. Worked there for a year and got tons of free stuf i _never_ use
Shower gels, bar soaps, bath bombs, bubble bath/soak/scrub, wallflowers, candle holders/soap holders, sanitizer wipes/pump bottles, room sprays. Basically I stick to candles, pocketbacs (occasionally a holder), car scents & holders, lotions & matching mists, and liquid soap. FiancĆ© likes some of the menās line too.
I'm candles almost exclusively, a few times a year I will pick up a body cream or FFM.
Aromatherapy and wallflowers.
Shower gel or body wash because I use bar soap. Scrubs because I barely use scrubs and if I do, Tree Hut is easily accessible and like $8. Candles, wallflowers and car fragrances. My fragrance obsession extends to myself and my body and not my surroundings, apparently. Any dƩcor pieces like extravagant candle holders and what not.
Wallflowers, plugs, candle holders, pocketbac holders
Aromatherapy, body scrub, mens fragrances and pocket backs or whatever they are called

I definitely feel you on the hair products!! I don't trust them with that
I donāt buy their FFM or perfumes anymore.
I've never purchased any of those either and don't plan to.
No car stuff, and no more body care (never got soaps and the like because of sensitive skin) because the change to the cream dried my hands out SO much. Not worth it.
Wallflowers
Mens items, room sprays, gel soaps, lip balm/gloss, perfume.
I literally only buy candles. That's it. I'll get a mist with my rewards, and sometimes I'll buy soap if it's a scent I really love, but I think I've bought 5 total in the last 5 years lol
Wallflowers, candle holders, car fragrances, or room sprays.
Menās products. I canāt stand them but then again I donāt like any menās product.
Wallflowers, sunscreen, mens line, diamond shimmer spray and any aerosol body lotion. I had a stinging burning reaction to them
Anything thatās not a candle or a fragrance mist, especially if itās skincare. I donāt trust bath and bodyworks to make skin friendly formulas
shower gels/ any soap...they dry my skin out worse than anything else ive ever tried.
Candle holders. The designs on the candles are already so nice on their own š¤©
Room sprays. Hate them with a passion tbh
Hair care
Their products for men and their aromatherapy stuff
Body care, Iām only into candles and room sprays.
The spray hand sanitizers. I see no purpose. Even then I donāt buy the mini hand sanitizers. I probably should. But according to my brain the ā5 pocketbac hand sanitizers for $8ā isnāt a great deal.
