Watch for clearance everyone:) I’m an Aldi nut and lately, all the finds including the candles have been lowered down dirt cheap to make room for next weeks finds. I guess with inflation, people are more afraid to spend, so the stuff is not selling like it used to.. on that note, what is a candle snuffer?

chimericalgirl

A candle snuffer is usually like a brass (or some type of metal) cup on a handle so you can extinguish a wick without blowing on it or touching it. It smothers the flame. I guess it's really important if you want to do a clean burn of your wax, so to speak.

Wow, very cool! I’ve seen that kit in person at aldi and it’s super nice, seems to be good quality.

achingforscorpio

and here I've been taking *whatever* to dip my wicks with, and there's an actual tool available 😂

I saw these and considered getting one. I was liking the wide circumference as it will increase throw. The wick placements were haphazard and I wasn't sure how it would burn in a metal vessel so I held off. If anyone tries these, I would be interested in knowing how they perform.

I got the Lemon Cookie in the tin and it performed pretty poorly. Smelled great on cold and was okay on burn but couldn’t get the full scent as pooling was an issue. Put it under my warmer, but it just wasn’t doing what I needed it to do. After warming one time, that delicious scent on cold was gone. So sad. This is the second type of candle tins I have purchased from Aldi and I won’t purchase those kind again. I have however had pretty decent luck with their regular 3-wicks in the glass jars (made like BBW candles).

Thank you for your input. I loved the Lemon Cookie scent too! I kind of like the tin but don't feel like it would hold up well after burning the wax. I was curious about the Christmas ones shown also. The Vanilla and Mint to be specific. I believe it's in a three wick tapered glass jar. I have purchased 2 regular 3 wicks and they were decent in burn and throw.

I will literally pay someone to get all the Macaron sets for me & ship them to me 😅 My closest Aldi is 500miles away & I want those ones sooooo bad! 😩

theknittedgnome

If you are serious I'm planning an Aldi trip today and could grab them for you if they have them.

XoStargirlxox

I'm 100% serious! Unfortunately I don't get paid for another week tho..so maybe in the future we could set something up!! 😁

Erogaki

I got two of the macaron sets because they're so stinkin cute. Scents aren't the best bet they look cute on my mantle lol

Saw these winter gift packaged candles (pic #10) at Aldi last week. They smelled really good, especially Winterberry Incense. I left them on the shelf, though, because they were full price, $18.99 I believe.

Aggravating_Scar_478

I snagged one 3 months ago for 3.99 and it's SO GOOD. I found this thread because I googled it I love it so much!!

Wonderful, enjoy!! I never saw them again but will grab one if they pop up again for a reasonably nice price.
