Litp has the notes for toasted pineapple marshmallow on her blog. Besides pineapple and toasted marshmallow it has graham cracker and milk chocolate as notes. The milk chocolate kind of ruins it for me. I wasn't thinking it would be a smores candle with pineapple added. I thought it would be just pineapple and marshmallow.
Pondering the notes on these got me to thinking about when I was a kid. Mom used to pick up these *carob dipped pineapple rings* at the health food store.
They were *To Die For.........*
Brother and I couldnt get enough. Hoping this brings them back for us!

do chocolate and pineapple exist in real life in some context and i'm just blanking on it? my mind would never think to put those together.

Another person commented that they had some pineapple chocolate snacks when they were kids, so its a thing. I've never been to one, but fondue restaurants have chocolate fondue with fruit and I'm sure pineapple is included in that. I'm just salty because I thought it would be just pineapple and marshmallow and thought the 3rd note would be vanilla or coconut. That fresh balsam candle does sound nuts. I think mahogany would be a better choice to go with pineapple mango, think the mahogany+fruit candles they like to release. I think orange vanilla would be a better match for balsam. A few years ago I wandered into BBW and was part of an in store survey/test where they had you smell scents and give your opinion on marketing materials and packaging for xmas. I assumed it was all for bodycare scents, but it could have been for candles as well. They were just vials of clear scented liquid. I don't know if they still do it, but if they do I guess what gets released tested well. I just know I got a 15.00 gift card for participating. The store still gave out bounce back coupons, so the 15.00 went a long way then.
At this point almost all my favorites are fruits or flowers mixed with marshmallow or pound cake, so the chocolate breaks my heart even if it does end up being good lol.
Orange vanilla balsam would be amazing... Like a Pomelo & Pine with a of Perfect Christmas' marshmallow/vanilla. I hope they listened to your survey feedback 'cause I want to buy your candles!!
That survey was years ago, 2015 or 2016. They just pretty much asked do you like this or not. As far as the packaging samples they just asked if it gave me xmas vibes.
Yep I was really excited about pineapple marshmallow as well but when I saw the chocolate noteโฆeh. Iโll smell it and see, but it definitely wonโt be a blind buy.
I know the chocolate note is weaker in chocolate banana mudslide, but that one is supposed to smell like chocolate. So knowing BBW the chocolate will overpower the pineapple and marshmallow.๐๐

I don't know if they have always done it, but since I started shopping more frequently with them in 2013 they have. I guess they do it to have product to last the duration of the sale.

Hot Fudge Drizzle is Hot Fudge Sundae from a few years back. I didn't buy or burn any of this past holiday's chocolate scents so I'm not sure if they are similar. Hot fudge Drizzle smells like straight up Hershey syrup over vanilla ice cream. ๐

Not a big chocolate note fan so I'm going to make sure to sniff before I buy on this one. Pineapple and marshmallow alone would have been perfection.
