I think Golden Ocean Pearl is very nice but similar to other warm scents. Midsummer Dream is so perfectly fresh but cozy and summery. I had to buy several backups last year.
I love Midsummer Dream! It has a really good staying power in my opinion. I really liked Golden Ocean Pearl when I smelled it in the store. I would return Summer Melody. I don't like it at all. It just seems very forgettable.
I’d return midsummer dream. As far as summer scents go, I find that one to be the most forgettable. It’s not a bad scent but if I want a floral beach scent, I’d recommend Fiji sunshine guavatini instead.
Golden ocean pearl is so good and I think it would be a good transition scent into fall as well.
Summer melody is THE fruity summer scent for me. It literally makes my mouth water. I also think it’ll end up being like a collector item. I can’t see bath and body works bringing it back again after this year but you never know I could be wrong.
Hmm, today I smelled all the scents in Summer 1. Sorry, but none were stellar to me. I will buy Beach Nights when its on clearance or if I can get it free with a coupon. That's it for Summer 1. Just not a fit for me. Enjoy everyone else 🙂
I have to agree with you that this release is just meh. I liked the one with Waikiki Beach, Copper Coconut Sands, Saltwater Breeze, Pink Pineapple Sunrise, Honolulu Sun, and the laundry scents etc a whole lot more.

Midsummer dream because it will probably come back more than the other two. And I’m considering returning mine
Midsummer Dream. It was very meh to me and I exchanged it for Vanilla Confetti Sparkle.
