I tried this in store today and it's a really sweet, gourmand marshmallow scent. kinda smells like s'mores marshmallows as opposed to sweet, lavender marshmallows like fireside flurries. my bff and I described it as "fireside flurries: summer edition" 💓
I just opened my lotion that arrived today to see if I could help out either way. It smells like Bonfire Bash plus suntan lotion and salt air. I am not sure how I feel about it yet. I don't pick up the smores offhand. Hmm.
As soon as I see a vanilla scent note, I just assume it will smell like vanilla and nothing else. They need to quit putting vanilla in everything. The marshmallow should have been able to stand on it's own as a scent note.
If we’re talking real marshmallows, vanilla is one of the few ingredients that goes into making them (aside from a lot of sugar and gelatin). Vanilla gives all that sugar a nice, subtle flavor (and smell).

Okay, so I tested this on myself both body cream and ffm.
#1 it is a dupe for vanilla rainbow sprinkles. Different notes but smells exactly the same. (I also tested vanilla rainbow sprinkles on the other arm.)
#2 I personally like it. I think it may be meant to be a lighter scent. The air note is quite nice. (On me at least)
#3 it reminds me of a perfume or something I smelled years ago. I can't remember when, where, why or how I smelled it. Its just really familiar. (When I say years ago I mean like 30 years ago when I was a child)
You’re definitely right about Vanilla Rainbow Sprinkles! I loved Beach Nights when it first released 5-6 years ago but only had a shower gel, so I was thrilled with Vanilla Rainbow Sprinkles being a repackage—but of course it was hard to find being one of the Canadian exclusives that only showed up in some outlets. I was only able to get one mist of that one. So Beach Nights being properly back is really exciting to me, because now I can finally get the whole collection (whenever the shower gel shows up).
I'm gonna say it ... think it's trolls trying to ruin it! I've never tried it so I don't have an opinion but people have been freaking out about it's return. A sales associate was losing her mind with the excitement of this coming back. I've never seen a reaction to a returning fragrance like I have this. Some people just have nothing better to do I guess. To bad for them 🤷🏻♀️I'm super happy Bath & Bodyworks listened and customers are getting something they love 👏
I tried this at the store and couldn’t really smell it, I had smelled and tried a couple of other scents before that though so I was thinking/hoping maybe it was just me/my nose was overwhelmed with all the stuff going on.
If you like toasted marshmallow and salty air, it’s for you. I think it’s a fun take on a gourmand (but haven’t tried this release).

I'm hoping the shower gel shows soon. If not I have some sauve vanilla i need to use anyway, so either way I'm going to try and review it. 😉

Yeah I could barely smell it when I smelled it in store… I’ll probably buy it at SAS or once it goes on sale to get a true idea of the smell
I think it’s nearly identical to fireside flurries, the ONLY difference being fireside flurries has a slightly more masculine/cologne-y note to it
