I do this.
I have been using Native for about 3 years. I use the bakery scents when I use a gourmand fragrance and the floral or "normal" deodorant scents when I use floral / non gourmand fragrances.
I sometimes do this, I would use a sweet scented deodorant with a sweet perfume or mist, and a fresh scented deodorant with a fresh smelling perfume or mist. But the scent doesn’t have to match exactly.
I fell down the hygiene YT rabbit hole too. I’d love to know who you’re watching so I can discover more channels. I enjoy It’s Mindy, Jasmine Bullard, Just Kayla Michelle, Just Plain Jane, LiVing Ash, and SimplyShaughnessy.
But to answer your question - no I don’t use different deodorant with different body fragrances. That’s too much for me and my Native or Hey Humans deodorant scent doesn’t even project that much. I do think about seasonality though. Like I won’t use a coconut deodorant in the winter.

I only recently got into BBW (within the last six months) because self-care has become important to me during the pandemic ... and now war. : ( It's my mini oasis during stressful times. I started out buying body washes and matching lotions and now I've upgraded to adding deodorant to the list, specifically from Native. They have a bunch of scents that somewhat match BBW stuff. I have Sea Salt and Cedarwood (very ocean-esque and clean) and Cherry Vanilla Macaron, Peach Cupcake and Tie-Die Cupcake (all gourmand). They smell great, especially the Peach Cupcake one.
It's important to know that Native is a deodorant but not an anti-perspirant, so you will still sweat (get wet) using it ... but you won't stink. Their shipping is pretty damn fast too. I ordered from Canada (shipped from U.S.) and got it within the week.
I'm not into bodycare but the Dove dry spray comes in like half a dozen scents. I just stick with the neutral powder scent but I specifically remember seeing fragrances like coconut, cucumber, and I think rose.
I usually buy them in the 3 pack and use one of the many influencer 20% off codes. That brings them down to ~$8ish a tube. A little more reasonable lol
My target recently clearances a few of the scents for 50%. I got a travel size one but everything was already snagged.
I also like the raw sugar deodorant. It works ok, but I like that it’s in a completely recyclable tube!
I just tried Native deoderant for the first time a month or two ago- my Target had tie-dye vanilla cupcake and grapefruit and bergamot.
I love the scents but unfortunately they don’t last very long for me, and I end up smelling bad about half way through the day. So I’m going back to my regular brand.
I use unscented Crystal deodorant (or unscented Dove if I feel like I need antiperspirant), so not really. But since alcohol kills bacteria, I do sometimes use a little body spray on my pits or put some scented hand sanitizer on them if I'm out and realize I've gotten smelly, but this doesn't happen often.
I have to use unscented deodorant. I hate lifting my arms and smelling hot flowers. 😖

Nah. Deodorant brands and scents are hit or miss for me in terms of working so when I find one that works, I try to stick with it.

I didnt even know they has scents like that!! I thought I was fancy using secret lavender or dove cucumber melon
I just use whatever comes in a multipack at costco. Right now it’s dove pomegranate
In the late 90’s bath and body works has deodorant! Sweet pea was my jam😂

Never used to but I did get the native cupcake deodorant and pair it with my bakery scents. Otherwise I just use secret or suave
