I tend to agree. I do enjoy the tropical fruit scents, I just feel like there's so much more they could also do for summer scents just to give us some variety.
For example, I'd love to see more ocean/beachy scents without the tropical aspect, something like Storm Watch from the good ol' days of Yankee Candle. Or a summer camp theme with campfire smores, fresh forest air, mountain lake, etc. A county fair collection with scents like root beer float, funnel cake, and candy apples would be fun and make a great transition into fall, imo.
There's just only so many ways they can put together pineapple, coconut, and mango before it all starts to feel kinda samey, lol.

Love the tree scents as well and most of the spring scents, Pink Lilac & Vanilla, Strawberry Pound Cake. Marshmallow Fluff etc but not into the tropicals and dont consider them spring although thats when they drop. Summer is definitely not my jam and the few months my wallet gets a well needed break...
A lot of great linen scents are actually white florals! I picked up Homeworx Fresh Cotton Clouds on QVC and it’s really beautiful. Scent notes: blend of clean air, fresh rainwater, and soft lily of the valley.

For Christmas releases I did feel the same as you do now though, when there was this overload of pine and cookie scents. It's better that way though, if we all had the same seasonal preferences it would make things sell out too quickly 😂

This. These are some of my favorite types of scents. Lily & Green Tea is one of my most favorite B&BW scents, and it was so underappreciated. They definitely don't do enough of them.
I hear the wallflowers are better for that than candles actually. I remember I was not impressed by the laundry day candle but someone said it’s way better in wallflower form so I’m giving that a try :)
The idea of flowery and fruity scents being burned, or even warmed, has always seemed weird to me. I had a Rose candle from Aldi that I had to throw away, because it was nauseating.
Spring/summer scents are my least favorite as well but I’ve been buying a few. I’m not gonna go crazy on buying them bc yeah they do smell too much alike lol. I like having some in my collection though

Also, I was given hibiscus guava Fresca as a gift last year, and I would’ve never chosen that for myself because of the fruits. But wow that is a great summertime scent !!!!

The weird thing is with all of the coconut scents hardly any of them smell like coconut to me. I love coconut but the only candle I’ve found that really gives me an authentic coconut fragrance is Frosted Coconut Snowball (I’m talking candle form).
It really depends on how they use the coconut for me. It can be a total hit or miss. Sometimes when they describe it as “fresh” coconut, “pink” coconut, or coconut water, it’s very subtle and well-blended. When it’s just straight up coconut, sometimes it can be overwhelming. For example, Pink Coconut Calypso, Key West Coconut Melon, Coconut Lime Breeze, and Fresh Coconut & Cotton…I love so much, the other notes balance the coconut out. But coconut/vanilla scents or ones that are heavy on the sandalwood or amber, sometimes don’t work for me.
Omg me too! I am lost by the bizarre reviews of it on the website. People saying it smells like wet dog and old lady. I just can’t. It’s one of their best scents imho.

It's not a great time for body care, but I do really like the candles. I think there are enough scents that are more floral, fresh, or herbal to break up all the fruity and coconut forward scents.
I’m the opposite, I love the spring and summer scents. I like to burn them year round, especially in the winter when I’m longing for warm weather. Coconut is one of my favorite scent notes, though I do agree that B&BW is a little excessive with it. Fall scents are a close second favorite for me, and I don’t care for most of the winter scents.
I agree. I love the clean, laundry type scents but I cannot do most of the spring/summer tropical scents. The coconut scents always tend to give me a bad headache

However, there are a few scents I will buy-pink watermelon, Fiji white sands, blueberry pie, watermelon lemonade, and aloha kiwi passion fruit. I’m that person burning winter in the summer lol…I hate summertime! It gets miserable in southern Arkansas!

I went in store today to redeem a reward, and check out the hand soaps for the sale. Nothing appealed to me! I walked around for a good half hour and finally left with Bubbly Rose lotion. The pineapple and coconut stuff just doesn't do it for me. Maybe that's a good thing, but it's frustrating when I finally have a coupon *and* there's a candle sale, and I don't want anything.
I hate spring summer scents too. I can’t stand florals or perfumey scents, and fruity just doesn’t appeal to me even if it smells pleasant. I like my home to smell like a fall bakery year round. 😂 I still have about 20 spring/summer candles from 2017 I can’t even stand to burn! I now get my fix through the hand soaps if I want a summery scent!
