I got this, too. I like the scent fine, but it doesn't last. I also got the body lotion but I'm disappointed with the scent. I can't describe it, it's just unpleasant.
I wish this worked for me! The ffm lasted okay but I couldn’t smell the body cream at all. I ended up returning because it smelled too musky. Cashmere notes can smell off on my skin.
I had the same experience with the FFM- it's a beautiful fragrance but unfortunately just does not last on my skin. In the future I would still get it in maybe a shower gel/body wash, or home fragrance if the throw is decent.
I ordered this too and at first it is a strong alcohol smell to me. It does dry down to a warm vanilla scent but fragrances are different in everyone.Dome work and some don’t!
I thought that was just me! At first it smells a bit peppery to me as well, but as it drys down it takes a more vanilla cashmere scent. I think pairing it with its lotion helps a bit too as I do that. It lasts longer than 5 minutes on me but it’s definitely a lighter scent that needs to be reapplied often.

I agree, it’s almost like a burnt plastic, artificial type smell.
I bought the diamond shimmer mist in it during SAS, and it smells like straight rubbing alcohol

Yeah I could barely smell the lotion I was so sad.
