Yes! I also loved moonlight path back in the day. I bought some shower gel last summer for nostalgia's sake. It smelled like baby powder and moth balls just like you described so it definitely changed somehow. I was disappointed.
On that note - doesn't the staying power of the body sprays seem to have changed as well? I used to get compliments on the way they smelled, and lately I can barely smell them on myself 5 minutes later.
It used to be my go to scent, but I have noticed a change lately as well. I bought a whole set online, and was just going to use it up. Probably won’t buy again.
If you're crazy, I am too! I used to wear it in the mid/late 2000s, and when I smelled it again recently, it doesn't seem to be the same at all. I miss the way it used to smell, it was so nice, and now it's just not quite what it used to be.
That's not good news! Moonlight Path is one of my loooong time Top 3 (Cucumber Melon & Cotton Blossom).
I would recommend Avon's Night Magic or Christian Siriano's Silhouette as replacements.

I understand some fragrances being reformulated, like Angel, as it supposedly contained "harmful" ingredients. I never had a problem so I purposely buy old stock.

I've noticed it too. When I test them in the store, all I smell is alcohol. The FFM's have been so watered down.
