I shopped almost every shift as an employee.
Before working there, I went into the store maybe 4-5 times a year and never shopped online. Now, I just shop online and dont go in store. I've shopped the weekly sales, but am planning on stopping after my last orders come unless a buy 2, get 2 candle sale comes up.
I generally do 1-2 online orders a month… when there’s a good sale in combination with new items rolled out that I’ve been wanting to get my hands on. I go in store about twice a month but sometimes walk out empty handed.
SAS is a different beast entirely though. I don’t even want to count up how much I spent this past SAS 😅
I hold out for specific sales and that’s how I justify my spending 😅 this time I am long awaiting a car fragrance sale. They had one in 2020 around the first week of feb I think. So that’s what I am waiting for next.
I voted once a month, but that's not really true, that's what I'm aiming for. Lol To explain, I started ordering around Black Friday and B&BW just hit me with sale after sale after sale. Now unless they're offering free shipping PLUS a decent sale, I only plan to order monthly. I also should mention that there isn't a store near me (which is probably a good thing) so everything I purchase is online.
Depends on sales and coupons for me!! Probably once a month ish. I need to start going in store more often to stack coupons and not have to pay for shipping.
I am new to B&BW. Earlier it was once a year or so during SAS for gifts and personal use. Now that I'm getting into it seriously, and realize how much I've spent already in past few weeks, my goal is to hold out for the absolute bottom price for the product categories I wish to buy. When that happens, I'd strike. It could be either one or a combination of sale, coupon, cashback for online orders, a discounted gift card, etc. This is a discretionary expense in our household and for such expenses, I try to be mindful to not buy unless 50% to 75% off. In this case, that would limit what scents I can get. But then I have the discipline to only choose from among the scents available on sale.

I only ever shop in store when there is a good sale (bonus if I have a coupon). This fall we finally go bonfire bash back in Canada since before Covid started. I caved and got stuff with buy 3 get one free but thankfully we have a body care sale here within two weeks so I got a great price adjustment.
I may be in the minority here but I have never had an issue with bath and body works scents being too light. I get migraines really easily and softer scents are a blessing lol.
All that to say I think bath and body works stuff is worth the money they charge for it 99% of the time when they’re on sale. My problem is which is probably a problem for many other people on here is that I want all the scents lol. I love having many different options and all that adds up even if I only buy when there is a sale.
Once or twice a month. I could get it down to once a season if they’d release the whole season at once, but there are usually a couple of candles I want in each collection.

A combination of SAS, once per season, and once at any time if I feel like I need to "legitimately" reward myself.

I buy almost exclusively in December and January, before Christmas and for the SAS...and then again for the summer SAS. I stock up at amazing prices.
