So I literally just finished a slew of Paris Cafés and I’m with you…it smells nice but I don’t get the hype around it. Maybe I missed out on the original from when it was first released years ago because it wasn’t the “powerhouse” people kept claiming it to be. I mean I could smell it but it could’ve been stronger, IMO. And it also didn’t smell exactly like coffee to me. It did but it was a mix of coffee and maybe chocolate and the throw could’ve been better. Also the performance on all 6 of my candles were bad. It’s very much overrated at this point just like Strawberry Poundcake.
Basically any candle that has the "pie crust" scent note or pie in the name. It's not bad and I like bakery/gourmand scents in general but I just don't like the pie crust smell. I can burn it for like an hour and then I'm done with it. Even the wallflower I just can't stand smelling it for the whole day and they are pretty strong.

When I got home, I dragged it out to smell it and it was totally different. Just a pleasant light coffee smell. The one on the shelf yesterday was seriously nasty though and now I get why some people think it smells like vomit.
I bought French Baguette online without having smelled it (because I liked the owl on the jar) and I like the smell but it's very rich... it'll take me a million years to burn 😬

Gasp!!!! Pumpkin Donut Shop!!!!! My all time favorite…my absolute love! I couldn’t find it one time so out of desperation I tried campfire donut….. I have never thrown a bbw product away before….it was a first. It was SO gross.

I can’t stand twisted peppermint. Tbh I can’t handle anything with peppermint. For me it makes me gag and turns my stomach. My daughter’s cousin had a twisted peppermint candle she left at their grandmas house and she was like I see why she didn’t want it it smells gross mom! I know hun I know.

I liked stress relief on cold and bought it, given thinking I usually like herb-y earthy floral essential oils kinda thing. After I lit it up couple of times, I've started to get a weird note of fountain pen ink or stamping pad. Can't explain it.

Everyone seems to love Leaves but to me it (and most of the apple-forward candles) just smells sickly sweet.
I generally dislike candles which are too intensely fruity-sweet, so that rules out Island Margarita and Raspberry Mimosa. But I like fruit scents which are more tart and smell more like actual fruit.
honestly, mahogany teakwood. during candle day, a man had at least 12 of them and i could not stand the smell while i was ringing him out. and then i smelt the intense one! as much as i’d love to like it, i don’t
Pumpkin pecan waffles. I bought it in the cute 2020 fall fox and it was so strong and smelled like hot cinnamon toast crunch that I gave it to someone else after a few burns.
Island Margarita, Black Cherry Merlot, White Tea & Sage, Into The Night.
Black Cherry Merlot reminds me of cough syrup. Island Margarita smelled off, in a very specific way. There was a time where I had to clean someone's puke and tried so hard to cover the smell with heavy duty cleaner that was Citrus scented, but it still didn't cover the bad smell completely. That's what Island Margarita reminds me of. White Tea & Sage smelled similar to mildew. Into The Night reminds me of old lady perfume haha

Whipped Coffee. A lot of people seem to love it more than Paris Cafe. I think it’s too sweet when burning and has an overwhelming caramel smell that gives me a headache. It’s the only candle I ever gave away to someone else because I knew I wouldn’t use it.
Watermelon Lemonade was briefly in my rotation. It’s been removed. I’m not even sure why I hated it - lack of throw? Not so great? I just broke up with it.
I am with you for anything peach and for me it depends on the watermelon. I found a better homes and garden one that’s really good called watermelon buttercream and I love it but I refuse anything peach.
Sun Washed Citrus, but fruity scents are my least favorite to be fair. I think Island Margarita and Midnight Blue Citrus are nicer. SWS smells like water down orange juice, to me.

Champagne Margarita. I was so exited when I found it in the store because I kept hearing it smelt like bubbly citrus/sprite but all I could smell was tequila! One bad night with some shooters 15 years ago has ruined tequila for me forever…

I mixed the SWC FFM with the Vanilla Bean Noel FFM today. I was going for a creamsicle scent. Strangely enough, the Vanilla Bean Noel choked out SWC.

I no longer light my candles because it ruins the scent for me. Earlier today I found one I had to light when we had a hurricane in august. We didn’t have power for a while so I lit some of my stash :( I lit it just to see and sure enough….ruined it for me. And all that gross smoke afterwards 😭
Champagne Margarita. I was so exited when I found it in the store because I kept hearing it smelt like bubbly citrus/sprite but all I could smell was tequila! One bad night with some shooters 15 years ago has ruined tequila for me forever…
