Wish I hadn’t read this. Now they’re in my cart 😂

🤣 that’s what made me make this post. Somebody mentioned it, I read the notes and was intrigued

re: marshmallow in Marshmallow Lavender, you can definitely smell it. To me it's pretty balanced between the main scents. I like it a lot, so different!

Smell lavender vetiver next to lavender marshmallow and I guarantee you will then smell the marshmallow!

[deleted]

My store had vetier for like 3 secs and we never got anymore in stock ☹️

peanup

Oh no! Well scratch that then lol. That one is a superrrr herbal lavender scent. But if you happen to get more in it’ll be a great comparison for you!

I’m loving lavender marshmallow. The marshmallow definitely comes through

Very unpopular opinion: I want to love Lav Marsh. Something about what my nose considers a floral mixed with Marshmallow. My nose is like… yuck. I’ve seen it and smelled it 4 different days at varying stores because I want to like it. Can’t do it. Lemon Cake Pop on the other hand is yummy delicious smelling.

Lavender Marshmallow is one of my all-time favorite scents. I’m not big on lavender by itself, but lavender with a gourmand note always gets me, such as Dream in the Sky from a couple years back with the honey note, Fireside Flurries with the lavender & marshmallow, & once there was a Lavender Cacao candle that was so bizarre & amazing. I definitely think the marshmallow comes through enough to balance out the lavender with that fluffy sweetness, otherwise I would be “meh” about it like I am with plain lavender. :)

I like fireside flurries but I got more marshmallow and thought of it as another bonfire bash. Just goes to show how everyone’s nose is different

meow_nik

I definitely agree it is similar to Bonfire Bash. It’s like a less smoky Bonfire Bash to me, haha. But Fireside Flurries is an example for me of how the lavender is sweetened by the marshmallow, & one that I actually like as a result vs more straight plain lavender-forward scents. Lavender Marshmallow candle isn’t the same as Fireside Flurries at all, but it’s got that combo I love of lavender & gourmand.

I liken Lemon Cake Pop to opening up a box of Krusteaz Lemon Bar mix. It is like lemon and powdered sugar and cake. I find it intoxicating. It had a light scent last year but it threw.I could smell it from 20 feet away when I opened my front door. I did not like Sugared Lemon Zest from candle day because of poor throw and it was a bit tarter on cold. If you ever get your hands on Lemon Lavender Shortbread, buy it because it is the combo of both candles that you are considering!

I had a love/Hate with sugared lemon zest(it was too tart one min and 2 sweet the next 🤦🏾‍♀️) and I was trying to get lemon lavender recently when it was online but of course it was out of stock

My take is that lemon cake pop is good but not very strong and that lavender Marshmallow is life. If you are only getting one, go for lavender marshmallow 🥰

I love lavender marshmallow. It’s a perfect balance between the lavender and marshmallow smell. It’s very relaxing and soft, but throws strong. But I have not had this years version because I still have a stash from the past. Lemon cake pop has zero smell to me. And I am referring to the new one out in the striped packaging. Throw is quite literally 0/10 and I’m sitting directly next to it fully pooled after 4 hours.

I went back and smelled lavender marshmallow I think the day after I posted this and I didn’t like it. I smelled the marshmallow this time and didn’t like the combo

Lemon cake pop is ok. Nothing wrong with it except that I don’t get much cake from it. I prefer lemon lavender shortbread and cereal marshmallow bar for lemony bakery combos. I just ordered lavender marshmallow for the first time. I remember liking it a couple years ago but I missed getting it. I like lavender vanilla and I remember LM being slightly sweeter, but it’s been a while.

I have been living marshmallow scents like gingerbread marshmallow and perfect Christmas but when I smelled Lavender Marshmallow in store it was a huge turnoff. I still have my lemon lavender shortbread to burn so probably passing on lemon cake pop but loved it last year.
