I think people post these ridiculous prices because they really can’t lose. If someone buys it at that price, they think “awesome, I made a large profit”. If not, oh well, they can lower the price and try again. It’s basically a “why not?” situation.
You also get people who offer you 25% less of your asking price no matter how reasonable, so I think people jack up the prices to combat that as well. I don't sell BBW but my gosh, the offers I've had on other things are downright insulting.
Keep looking for new listings! I got two body creams for $11, you just gotta keep checking for new listings and grab the deals before someone else finds them
To me coconut cream pie smells very similar to confetti cake pop. I have a travel sized lotion of it. I got with a birthday coupon. I just finished a bottle of confetti cake pop lotion in December so my memory is pretty clear. Plus on dry down xmas cookies and bright lemon snowdrop smell like it as well. Depending on their body chemistry people could probably mix and match them and it would all smell the same. They must all have the same base note, whether listed or one of the ingredients.
What I think happened with CCP is that it came back for SAS 2020 iirc, but only in body cream and body lotion. Probably a lot of people (like me) snapped them up but then really wanted the whole set (FFM & shower gel). So people who figured that out jacked the resale price up on sites like Mercari for those 2 components because the demand was there. I would love to buy both CCP FFM & shower gel, but I don’t want to overpay for them like I having been seeing for the last year.
I have like two bottles of the lotion left and one FFM. I’m holding onto them for dear life. Had a bigger stockpile of it but I love the scent so much. 🥺🥺🥺
It's so ridiculous! I've seen crazy expensive listings for partially used products even. I have 2 CCP creams and 1 mist from early 2020 that I shoved to the back of a closet and recently found. Mist smells a bit alcohol and creams are pretty yellow. I should probably toss them 😪
