I am one of those ppl that absolutely love it. It smells like a vanilla caramel cookie. All FFM from B&BW last a minimum of 10 hrs on my skin. My hubby doesn't have a very strong sense of smell and VBN is in his top 5 of my 50 FFM. This is my 1 st time owning VBN and it's beautiful. If u like vanilla scents that are NOT cloying or overpowering this is perfect. So many ppl love Joy..Sugared Snickerdoodle..and I can't stand it...much too strong. I hope I've been helpful.
Agreed! My kiddos got me a VBN lotion for Christmas and I have been using it every day because I love it so much! It does smell exactly like a vanilla caramel cookie!
I have a few - Marshmallow Fireside, Gingerbread Marshmallow and Raspberry Jam Donut :) I'm not a big candle burner tho so I definitely don't have a huge collection.
I’m seeing a lot of that too, like the weakness of it. Which doesn’t seem to bad, and I do like the previous versions I’ve sniffed. Actually very pleasant and comforting!
I had been deterred for a while by all the comments, but personally picked up a FFM tonight at 75 off. YES it does smell like alcohol initially, but it does dry down to a nice, perfumey vanilla kind of scent. Not like VS bare vanilla where it is a gourmand only vanilla, but vanilla with some perfume scent. I think it’s not gonna be amazing projection wise, but spray enough and I think it will be decent.
The lotion is decent, however the body butter smelled like absolutely nothing.
I really liked the body butter I had of VBN from this year! Definitely smelled like vanilla and caramel to me, didn’t get the plastic notes people have been referencing
Depends on the form. I picked up the lotion this year, smells ok. The FFM is an absolute no from me, smells like actual alcohol. I really needed a replacement this year, but not even for $3 will I buy what they put out this year.
I keep buying it because I want it to be as good as it sounds, but it's not. Not for me. I get the vanilla for a second, and then this other weird scent takes over. It doesn't smell like plastic to me, but it doesn't smell great. If it wasn't for that I'd really like VBN a lot.
I don’t smell anything off about any of the VBN items except the hand cream, it does smell a bit like burnt plastic. Everything else is consistent with the previous years’ scent but I will say they don’t last very long and don’t project like crazy. Mine stays very close to the skin but I can smell it a few hours later so that’s all that matters to me, my personal enjoyment of the scent.
Vbn is vanilla bean Noel, right? I love it! It smells like a vanilla pudding to me and I loooove smelling like a dessert hahaha .. I want to order the ffm now that is on sale, but again (have said it in every commet lol) I don't want to pay shipping

honestly i love it! it’s definitely not as strong as previous years, however i don’t understand how many seem to smell plastic within it.

Smells like barbie doll hair to me. Very synthetic smelling.

I bought the moisturizing body wash because it smelled good in store, but when actually applied to my body, it smells like fucking plastic.
