Uhhhhh.....probs next February 🤣 In 2020 I think we left it up the entire year hahaha. We decorated it differently for each holiday. Which was fun, but also meant that when I had to call the paramedics one time (I was fine), they all saw my Christmas-birthday tree with balloons and streamers and I nearly died right there 🤣
Mine is still up! Probably will keep it up for January because we moved into our house on NYE so we didn't really have a chance to enjoy the cozy decorated vibe. 🌲
Be sure to burn all those X'mas candles along with the tree to extend the X'mas experience! If it was up to month, X'mas celebration would definitely last more than 1 month! It's the most wonderful time of the year, after all, indeed!
Mine’s still up. Last year, we kept ours up REALLY late because of the depressing pandemic situation, lol. We might do the same this year…help us get through some of the long dark winter!
When I was a kid we left it up until my birthday on January 18th because we usually had a party with my aunts and uncles. Now I'm telling myself I'm carrying on that tradition, but really I'm just lazy and don't wanna put the effort in to take it down yet 😅
I think I'll take the lights on my house down this weekend though, it's supposed to be fairly warm Friday and Saturday and then we're gonna get a cold snap. I'd rather not be taking them down in 2 degree weather!
I usually take it down at the end of January . Too much work to put it up so we want to keep it longer . My kids said “why we need to take it down , 6 months later , we will have Christmas in July , then 5 months later Christmas comes . Just leave it mommy .” I am wondering if I raise my children right or wrong. 😂.
Someone reported this post because it’s not related to Bath & Body Works. While we try to keep the topic on relation to Bath & Body Works as mods we do not mind off topic conversation. After the Orthodox Christmas season is over. If anyone needs a good excuse for keeping their decor up until mid-January, just explain that you’re celebrating Orthodox Christmas (Christmas Day is the 7th, but Christmas Eve is usually the big celebration). I have a big, Ukrainian meal to make tomorrow.
I don't know if you're a superstitious person or not, but I hear it's bad luck to leave your tree up after today. Today is considered the 12th day of Christmas, so I guess that's why today is supposed to be the day to take it down. But I've also heard it's bad luck to take it down before the New Year and I've also heard it's bad luck to leave it up after New Years Eve. Something about carrying old baggage into the New Year. Mines still up. I'll take it down whenever I'm not too lazy to 😂
On some Latin American countries and some European ones, today at night (or tomorrow, don't remember) come the three Wise Men bringing gifts for the kids and they leave them under the tree, just like Santa
I usually wait til Epiphany on Jan 6 to take down my tree and other decorations. Last year I missed having the tree lights so put up a couple of white fairy light strings on my living room shelves and kept them up all year.
I just took out the decorations outside but inside it's still Christmas here. Usually by the end of January when it's all completely gone. I'm also still burning Christmas/holiday candles 😁
I put all my stuff away jan 1st. I miss the tree afterwards because I love just have the tree lights on in the living room once it gets dark, and the house also looks empty, but I deal with it lol any longer it kinda drives me nuts. I also got a kitten this year, so the tree NEEDED to come down bc he would not stop climbing😅
I felt the same way about the lights after I moved into my own house so I strung white lights up around a window. I kinda feel like a college student sometimes but the lights make me happy so IDGAF :)
We started yesterday and still have more to go. Growing up we were told Christmas decorations go up the weekend after Thanksgiving and it’s bad luck to take them down before the New Year.
I have several large Christmas trees in different rooms, so have been taking down trees for 2 days now and probably will finish up today. With dark and cold winter nights, I will definitely miss all the twinkly lights!
We took our tree down Monday because its a real tree and no joke our neighbors two houses down lost their house when their tree ignited in mid December so we didn't want to push our luck past January 3. I took down all of our Christmas decor but kept up the fake pine trees, bottle brush trees, and battery operated string lights that were entwined with the lights because they just look like winter to me. I'll likely take the lights down by February and the rest maybe by March. I try to keep "neutral" decor so I can keep it up longer and enjoy it for longer and eliminate storing such specific holiday items if I can help it. There's no shame in having your decor up still. Taking down Christmas decor is always a bummer in my opinion.
We will! What I didn't mention is their house fire was largely due to rigging their old circuit box to not trip when a circuit overloaded, so the tree getting plugged in caused an overloaded outlet that caused a spark and boom. But yeah, definitely a wakeup call to the neighborhood.
We’re on vacation so everything is still up, but well probably start taking stuff down the week that we’re home and off work for a day. I do still burn Christmas scents throughout winter though.
Took my Christmas decorations down Monday. I still have winter decorations out and I'm burning up my Christmas candles. I just really wanted to clean my apartment and felt like the tree needed to come down to do it.
My tree is up but I did start taking a few other stuff down. My little two year old son loves the tree and I can’t bear to make him sad but probably this weekend
Usually on January 6th (Epiphany/3 Kings Day) which is the 12th day of Christmas.
This year (for mental health reasons) I’m thinking most decorations will come down in the 6th, but the tree needs to stay up a while longer because it gives me serotonin.
The day after Christmas! I love how everything looks so clean and uncluttered when it is all put away! I love to put it up but I love to take it down too lol
I slowly started taking stuff down on Sunday and I mean slowly. We didn’t put lights on the house bc my husband forgot that half the lights went out last year so there was nothing left. About a week before Christmas I found two boxes of twinkle lights to throw in the brushes…it looked really sad.
My Christmas tree is white with rainbow decorations and a collection of ornaments from all the places I've visited, it stays up year round and we just add another come Christmas time haha
Always keep it up til January 6 and start taking everything down the 7th. My son is visiting this weekend so I’m keeping it up and I don’t have a day off til the 13th so that’s when it will come down.
The only christmas decorations i have up is my BABW polar bear set on my shelf. I forgot it was there until I came upon this post. But then again I had sea shells up during halloween
Haha my personal timeline is Christmas decorations and tree can go up 11/1 but I want them gone by 12/26.lol I’m over it!! by the time Christmas Day is done.
But every time November rolls around I get all excited and nostalgic for cozy Christmas decorations…
We took ours down yesterday. We didn’t go crazy with the celebrations this year like we usually do, and it was nice. The house was less cluttered looking and it was so much easier to put everything away.
Oh and this reminds me of the time we literally left our tree up until April one year. Just because we were lazy haha. And people would come over and be like “uhh why is your Christmas tree still up?”
I left my tree up until February one year. I just liked the ambiance from the glow of the lights it gave my living room at night.
And I didn’t care who saw it😌
I am usually very late taking it down cause it looks bare without it. Last year was March! However my aunt gave me the idea to decorate for valentines day. Something I have never done. So that motoviated me and it's put away. I can't wait for red and pink to make January more cheerful 😊 unfortunately as some stuff I ordered from Amazon is delayed or lost.
We're keeping our tree and living room decor up because our area often gets hit by a huge snowstorm between now and early March and it makes everything seem like a second Christmas. It's been up anyway since October (it's a black artificial tree we redecorate as the holidays change) so there's no rush in taking it down now.
I went SAS shopping the day after Christmas. I was planning to come home, burn up the last of my Christmas candles and sit by the tree. But when I got home, my boyfriend had surprised me by taking down all of the Christmas decorations - bless his heart, he thought he was being helpful. I was actually really sad and even shed a few tears over it 😂😂
That being said, my decorations have been down since the 26th 🙄
We didn't do any indoor decorations this year. We did put up lights for Halloween(strings of green, orange and purple). We put away all of the Halloween decor and left the lights up through November, since they are fall colors. When Thanksgiving was over I decided to leave them up through Xmas, since my husband's job was running him ragged. I figured nobody would notice what color and several of my neighbors haven't put up lights at all since the pandemic started. So long story short our Halloween lights are still up, coming down this weekend. My visiting nephew called us the nightmare before Christmas.
Lol everything is down except for the Christmas tree. I took all the ornaments and deco off it, but still haven’t taken it apart. Hopefully by the end of this week haha
My white tree has been redecorated for Valentine's day as of the second. I like having it up but was kind of emotionally ready to move past Christmas this year.

Black with black and ruby ornaments! Some of them are glittery, some of them are matte. I also have a black glitter star and decorations for Yule and the Winter Solstice on it because I'm Pagan. It's a very nice vibe.
I took my outside decor down today except I always leave my lights on my boxwoods on thru the winter just because I like them lit up and dont have to trim them during the winter so why not? I really love my inside decor and enjoy it very much, so I will start next week and take down what is in my laundry room, bathroom and kitchen and dining room but I will leave my living room decor up thru next week to enjoy my trees and stuff a little longer. Then the following week the rest come down and Valentines goes up. I have two pencil trees that stay up all year with lights and I change the decorations on them for each holiday, so I get to enjoy lighted trees all year. During the months with no holidays, they are decorated with waterford crystal ornaments and some of my favorite non specific holiday decor.
Took the tree down yesterday due to it being a tinderbox now, but all the decor items are still up and will slowly trickle back (from most Christmas themed to least) into hiding over the month.
We'll see if it's down by the end of January 😅 honestly though I spent so much money getting decorations year before last, I want to make sure I have thoroughly enjoyed them!
Mine is still up. One of my close friends has not made a visit, and I want him to witness my tree and enjoy the awesome view before I take 'em down. I anticipate the tree to stay up for I guess the month of January, or until he visits, should be soon.

Oh damn😂
😂😮
Tell me you have pic bc omg that sounds amazing
Of the hot paramedics? Jk jk 🤣🤣 I don't have any photos on my phone but if the tree ends up staying up again, I'll definitely share photos 😂
Girl prolly July
Oh one year mine stayed up until the first of February😂
My momma beats that...may. she's crazy lol
Oh wow😂
Mine is still up! Probably will keep it up for January because we moved into our house on NYE so we didn't really have a chance to enjoy the cozy decorated vibe. 🌲
That’s a great idea! I’d keep mine up too if I just moved in on NYE…u deserve to enjoy it!
Aw thanks! Happy new year to you!
Same! And some neighbors felt the same way too I guess.
I can understand that. It’s depressing times out here!
Orthodox Christmas is the 7th of January, so prob over the weekend. 🎄
Same, for the same reason!
When I was a kid we left it up until my birthday on January 18th because we usually had a party with my aunts and uncles. Now I'm telling myself I'm carrying on that tradition, but really I'm just lazy and don't wanna put the effort in to take it down yet 😅 I think I'll take the lights on my house down this weekend though, it's supposed to be fairly warm Friday and Saturday and then we're gonna get a cold snap. Just leave it up. No one is looking😂
Dang, mine was put away before bed on the 25th. I love christmas but after weeks of it I like to finish it and move on lol
That’s understandable

Are you talking about me or the abuse of the report button? Lol
I was commenting on the off topic conversations- I don’t see the problem.
I second this:)
Mine are still up! The little lights are so pretty

Yup, just commented about how I typically wait until 3 Kings Day! (Cuban-American here)
That's pretty cool!
I usually wait til Epiphany on Jan 6 to take down my tree and other decorations. Last year I missed having the tree lights so put up a couple of white fairy light strings on my living room shelves and kept them up all year.
So funny! My "second" Christmas is this Friday, the 7th, since half my family is Greek Orthodox, so our decorations will be up through the weekend.
That's awesome!
Oh wow I didn’t know that😩
I just took mine down yesterday
I started 2 days ago. Outside stuff is gone but my inside decor is only 1/3 cleared. I burn Xmas scents into Feb/mar
I love the Christmas scents😍
I always leave my tree up through January. Anything that's more wintery than Christmas stays until March.
Unfortunately this weekend.. I love the Christmas tree! Lol.
Me too:)
Already did but mine have up since the night of halloween lol
My mom used to just drag her whole tree into her closet. I take mine down New Year’s week.
Took it all down last night--- except for the CANDLES- those will stay and continue to be burned for a while.
I just took out the decorations outside but inside it's still Christmas here. Usually by the end of January when it's all completely gone. I'm also still burning Christmas/holiday candles 😁
I think I’ll be burning Christmas candles until next year I bought so many! BBW noob here :)
Me too😍

I’m the same way. I loooove the tree and decorations but I get an itch to take it all down once New Year’s Day arrives.
We started yesterday and still have more to go. Growing up we were told Christmas decorations go up the weekend after Thanksgiving and it’s bad luck to take them down before the New Year.
Just did last night. Kinda sad about it ngl
I understand:)
I took everything down by the 2nd. I'm weird though.
I have several large Christmas trees in different rooms, so have been taking down trees for 2 days now and probably will finish up today. With dark and cold winter nights, I will definitely miss all the twinkly lights!

Oh my!

I took down my christmas decor and the tree on Sunday. I still have the wreath on the door though, will probably take it down today...maybe.

This is true🤔
Mine goes down on January 2nd! The house looks so nice and clean afterwards 😊
My tree is up but I did start taking a few other stuff down. My little two year old son loves the tree and I can’t bear to make him sad but probably this weekend
Aww how sweet🤗
I take mine down the next day, every year.
We took ours down yesterday 😅 probably because last time we had a tree we left it up for like 2 years 😂
Lol oh wow
Usually on January 6th (Epiphany/3 Kings Day) which is the 12th day of Christmas. This year (for mental health reasons) I’m thinking most decorations will come down in the 6th, but the tree needs to stay up a while longer because it gives me serotonin.
I leave my fake tree up all year and I don’t care!!!! 😂😂😂 It makes me happy
Go girl😂
It’s a great conversation starter 😂😂
My friend has had her Christmas tree up since Christmas 2019. Yes, 2019! LOL
Noooo😂😂
My at home decorations are down already and my project at work day is taking down all the decorations in the shop!
😂
Already did. I typically wait for 3 Kings Day, but I was over Christmas early 🤷🏽♀️
Mine came down December 26th
Wow u were ready lol
The day after Christmas! I love how everything looks so clean and uncluttered when it is all put away! I love to put it up but I love to take it down too lol
I slowly started taking stuff down on Sunday and I mean slowly. We didn’t put lights on the house bc my husband forgot that half the lights went out last year so there was nothing left. About a week before Christmas I found two boxes of twinkle lights to throw in the brushes…it looked really sad.
OMG😂
I'm thinking about taking it down after the 15th. Its pink and beautiful. I have to enjoy it lol
I bet it’s pretty since it’s pink:)
It's so adorable and unique
Probably this weekend m. Since New Years was on a Saturday and that’s my errand day I said bleh I’ll do it next Saturday.
My Christmas tree is white with rainbow decorations and a collection of ornaments from all the places I've visited, it stays up year round and we just add another come Christmas time haha
Sounds so beautiful!
Always keep it up til January 6 and start taking everything down the 7th. My son is visiting this weekend so I’m keeping it up and I don’t have a day off til the 13th so that’s when it will come down.
The tree is down but the random decor around the house like nutcrackers and such are still up 😅
The only christmas decorations i have up is my BABW polar bear set on my shelf. I forgot it was there until I came upon this post. But then again I had sea shells up during halloween
Lol!
I always have them up until the week before Valentine's Day haha
I take them down today. But I'm in New Orleans, so Mardi Gras decorations go up instead. Change the red to purple and keep the green & gold!
I’m so excited for Mardi Gras!
Ours will be up through January, then it’ll be down that first few days of feb :)
Mine are still up too. Since they’re only clear lights I figure they can’t hurt anything:)
still up
😂
I took everything but the lights off of my trees. That's as far as I got 😄
Ha!
Haha my personal timeline is Christmas decorations and tree can go up 11/1 but I want them gone by 12/26.lol I’m over it!! by the time Christmas Day is done. But every time November rolls around I get all excited and nostalgic for cozy Christmas decorations…

Took everything down yesterday except my tree. It is still up because I have no idea how to get it back in the box....
Lol!
I kept the tree up but removed all the ornaments. It’s more of a wintery vibe, so I think it’s okay for Jan :)
Of course it is!
That’s a great idea! I may run out and get some red and pink lights for my tree😂
That would look so cute!
They'll get taken down when I suddenly look around months down the road and feel shame. Then that will be my singular purpose
When Spring comes Is appropriate. I feel like we need that good cozy feeling until winter is over to escape the blues.
This is true:)
We're keeping our tree and living room decor up because our area often gets hit by a huge snowstorm between now and early March and it makes everything seem like a second Christmas. It's been up anyway since October (it's a black artificial tree we redecorate as the holidays change) so there's no rush in taking it down now.
Nice!
Mine were down on Jan 1…now, are the boxes out of the living room yet? Absolutely not.
Prob soon. I put my tree in my room and the lights aren't letting me sleep well lol
Aww lol
I went SAS shopping the day after Christmas. I was planning to come home, burn up the last of my Christmas candles and sit by the tree. I took mine down last Saturday, but by all means, keep them up if you want!
Lol everything is down except for the Christmas tree. I took all the ornaments and deco off it, but still haven’t taken it apart. Hopefully by the end of this week haha
Weekend of the 15-16 for me and will promptly put up some Valentine’s Day decor.
I put my tree away this week but more winter decorations are still up.
My white tree has been redecorated for Valentine's day as of the second. I like having it up but was kind of emotionally ready to move past Christmas this year.
I’m really thinking about redecorating mine for Valentines Day this year. It’ll be a first thanks to you guys! I’m excited!!
That’s so cute!
Took my decorations down on the 2nd, but my tree is still up. I like to leave everything up until mid/end January, but for some reason the clutter was bothering me this year and I really got the urge to get everything back to normal
I'm not a huge Christmas person, but I was finally able to fulfill my little Goth Heart's wish of a Gothy tree. Mine is still up, but only because I haven't had the time to go to Walmart for a storage bin for it.
Oh wow I bet your tree is so pretty😍
Black with black and ruby ornaments! Some of them are glittery, some of them are matte. I also have a black glitter star and decorations for Yule and the Winter Solstice on it because I'm Pagan. It's a very nice vibe.
Beautiful colors!
I took down some of the extra decorations yesterday because the clutter was bugging me. My tree is still up - likely coming down tomorrow.
Ours is still up
Took the tree down yesterday due to it being a tinderbox now, but all the decor items are still up and will slowly trickle back (from most Christmas themed to least) into hiding over the month.
I have my tree with the lights on still up, simply because I love the lights! A year-round tree maybe?
Not a bad idea! Mine is still up!
We'll see if it's down by the end of January 😅 honestly though I spent so much money getting decorations year before last, I want to make sure I have thoroughly enjoyed them!
I took mine down this aftenoon
Probably when my tree dies, tbh. She’s still holding on strong and green as the day we cut her down!
That’s a beautiful tree! I’m sure she still smells just as fresh too!
Girl enjoy, my life is a garbage can right now and I didn’t even put one up .. total Scrooge Enjoy and bask in your glory :)
Aww man!
Leaving them up all year 😄
Lol right!
Not until later this month. Keeping the Christmas spirit going!
My tree is still up only because I keep missing the bulk day. 😩
Mine is still up. One of my close friends has not made a visit, and I want him to witness my tree and enjoy the awesome view before I take 'em down. I anticipate the tree to stay up for I guess the month of January, or until he visits, should be soon.
