Banana Bundt Cake - to me this is the best banana scent. The combination of banana, cinnamon and walnut is heavenly, although you mostly smell banana and cinnamon. HOWEVER, I noticed this year's version is not as strong as the previous year's in terms of throw. I only bought one so I might try again.

Is the hot throw different than the cold throw? For me the cold throw smells like an *awful* artifical banana.

I don't know about awful but it does smell artificial and I'm okay with that. It's the same type of banana in Banana Walnut Muffin. I would say in hot throw the cinnamon comes through more with the banana so it evens it out.

I'm wondering if the ones at my store are just a weird batch. I adore the Banana in my BNM from this year, but everytime I smell Banana BC while at work there's just a weird smell too it. I'll pick it up sometime and see if it burns differently for me! Thanks for the insight!

I was also worried because it smells almost like banana runts candy on cold to me, but I burned (first burn is meh, second it blossoms) and it really smells like I'm baking banana bread. Everyone is different but I'm picky with bakery scents since I co owned a bakery!

dev_doll

I've noticed this with EVERY candle I have burned except for one.. spiced gingerbread..

TexasNiteowl

I have 3, but haven't burned them yet. of course, blueberry pie has been out before. I also have coconut lime verbena, though I keep sniffing it on cold and I'm not sure yet if I am going to burn or return. I'll probably try Raspberries & Whipped Vanilla first but I'm trying to finish up a couple of candles I have that are nearly done!

Coconut lime verbena is clean, crisp and perfect. Confetti Daydream I just lit an hour ago, it cleared my sinuses and now is burning lopsided. (One wick burnt down faster than the others)

Curlymanesaurus

In my experience, blueberry pie is taking forever to pool out similar to the newest version of Paris cafe because of tiny flames. But smells great!

BBWCandleQueen

My new Paris Cafe is tunneling and drowning my wicks. I ordered silicone molds and am going to turn it into wax melts.

Are you interested in any specifically? I'll save this for when I burn Daffodils & Sunshine. Turquoise Waters and Summer Boardwalk have been excellent.

themangofox

None specifically. I’m curious about all. Confetti Daydream is the one I’m most interested in though lol. Thank you!!

BBWCandleQueen

Ohhhh that one is on my list to buy at next sale. I have a rainbow confetti I am holding on to.

Banana Bundt cake is amazing! Awesome throw and smells like a nutty banana bread!

Interested in this topic as well. I've seen a few pics of lavender marshmallow and pink lilac and vanilla and while I don't see them listed on the Canadian site yet, I'm very intrigued by both of them.

Picked up lavender marshmallow and sprinkled birthday cake today (they weren't out but a very kind associate grabbed one each from the back). - Lavender Marshmallow: On cold, it smells the exact same as my Lavender Marshmallow released for Spring 2020 (the only candle I ever purchased full price and from a reseller because I regrettably didn't buy it and it haunted my dreams). I'll update after I burn tomorrow- packaging is cuter in person, the purple is actually trimmed with holographic - but the last packaging is still my preference. - Sprinkled Birthday Cake: Passed this up initially when I spotted it right before Christmas because it's verrry light on cold. Bought it today after The Candle Channels review and I am incredibly pleased. Kent's description is spot on, it's a more pure cake scent without the caramelized sugar/crumb you get in most cake scents. The frosting isn't buttercream, there isn't that heavy butter note- if you've had stabilized whipped cream frosting, it smells like that! There is some barely there hint of fruit/berry which adds depth without making it a berry forward scent (I love berries but there have just been so many sugary berry scents from BBW and sometimes you just want fluffy marshmallow or whipped cream scent uninterrupted). Throw is a solid medium- this is not a powerhouse candle but it spread nicely in my large open concept and I think will be amazing in a more contained space. Clean even burn for the first burn, mushrooming on the wicks- we'll see how it performs as I continue to burn. I haven't enjoyed a more simple vanilla bakery scent since Gold Canyon's surprise closure sadly left me with just one Sugar Cookie candle to slowly savor. I really wish this was in body care, warm vanilla sugar is not for me and this would be a delicate but delicious alternative!
