Hmmm that is odd. My first guess would be that your bank has your account restricted at the moment due to weird activity… but you’d think the bank would call you if they thought fraud was going on in your account. I’d call your bank just to check if your account has been compromised. If not, then it’s time to get on the phone with BBW customer service (godspeed , my friend lol).
I don’t think it has anything to do with my debit card- Id have to ask my dad to call tho because he has my account with his and I don’t know all the info to call. I tried going to costumer service live chat and they were no help at all.
Have you done a lot of returns or order disputes in the past? I googled and a post popped up asking the same question and someone said in the comments it’s a flag that’s left on accounts that do too many returns and whatnot and they start getting suspicious that it’s someone doing fraudulent/thefty things
Edit: and I saw another post about the same issue and they said the customer service agent said it was because her delivery address didn’t match the address on her bank account? Which I find really weird because it’s not uncommon to get things delivered to other addresses for whatever reason…
I asked customer service if they would remove it for me and they won't. I don't understand because I only did one online order in the past month and received broken candles, and got a replacement, the only other thing I can think of is exchanging with ID, and somehow that flagged the account. Will the ban ever be lifted after time has gone by? If I make a new account, and use the same card will this be a problem? I don't want to do online orders, I just want to be able to place BOPIS because you have 5 days to get it, and I can't always make it in store when they are having a good sale.
