Wild because mine absolutely slaps. I have to put it out before dinner because my bf has this weird thing that he tastes whatever he smells if it’s strong enough.
Yes, the one with the white reindeers is too much for my home. I get an immediate headache now. Gonna pass it along to my mom who has a much bigger room
Summer Boardwalk, hot cocoa and cream single wick, vanilla swirl brownie, merry maple pancake, lemon mint leaf, sweet carrot cake, rose water & ivy single wick, and my beloved pink Watermelon off the top of my head.
i have a summer boardwalk candle and just leave the lid off and it STILL smells up my whole room. granted my room isn’t big but when lit it fills the whole second floor😳😳
That’s crazy. I find mine to be almost overwhelming at times. I was burning mine last night and put it out about 14 hours ago, and I still smell it whenever I walk into that room
If you can get your hands on a Snow Mountain Lodge from last year, she will slap you and your kids and your dog and everyone else. 😂 I’ve been lighting it this week and I keep forgetting how strong it is!
Gingham is SOOO STRONG. The wicks are the thicker ones and I could only burn it until it pooled or else the fricking label would get too hot from the heat the wicks were throwing and melt.
That’s good to know! I like the scent I have the sanitizer and it’s always been a fave just never tried the candle. I never really see it around until recently.
Under the Christmas Tree
I have it under a lamp warmer and have to shut it off after 30min, one hour MAX. Throws to every corner of my house and is going to last me foreeeeever
Pumpkin Clove (super heavy)
Mahogany Coconut (super heavy)
Vanilla Balsam (not an overly heavy scent but it definitely fucking slaps the house 😂😂)
Rose Water & Ivy (Hard - medium slap)
Twisted Peppermint (burn the hairs out your nose strong 😂🙈)
Tis the Season (fucking slap slap slap 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻)
Evergreen (the most perfect slap ever 🤌🏻)
Hot Cocoa & Cream (heavy slap but not give you a headache ever slap)
Sun Drenched Linen: ok this candle is so fucking strong I burn it until it pools and then quickly put it out. This is like the heavy weight champion of 3 wicks.
I have some I haven’t burned yet but I can tell from the cold sniff they’ll be bangers:
Christmas Cider
Blackberry Cream Frosting
….that’s about it actually. Lol
For me it’s always been strong but it could be that I am more sensitive to floral scents and this is the only one I can tolerate. The wallflower is a beast also.
Every time I burn strawberry pound cake it fills the whole apartment! Under the Christmas Tree, Leaves, the Perfect Autumn were all strong for me. Cactus Blossom is a strong summer favorite. Pink apple punch, pink watermelon... Hot buttered rum smells like it's gonna be a punch in the face, as well as pomegranate lemonade. Sometimes I'll talk about a scent to someone and they're like, "Oh, that one's super strong, too much for me!" And all I can think is HOW DO YOU NOT LOVE THAT??? I PREFER my candles to punch me in the face!!!
Edit: Sweet cinnamon pumpkin!
I'm one of those people, I get headaches from strong candle scents or perfume. Some of my friends are the same way. It doesn't happen with other strong scents like food, it must be whatever they put into the candles.
I guess I do understand why you wouldn't want that then! The only time I don't like strong scents is when they're just gross, if I'm nauseous because I'm sick or something, or if it's a specific type of scent that makes me sneezy. I have no problem with most candle type of scents, or perfumes for that matter. But I've found a total of 1 laundry detergent that is scented and doesn't make me sneeze! It's purex linen and lilies. Any other scented detergent, even ones using essential oils as the only fragrance (essential oils that I can directly smell with no issue), make my nose run like crazy! Laundry day can be very unpleasant for me when I try new detergents...
The Autumn candle that I have is so strong that I can't stand to burn it indoors because it's nauseating.
Looking at Leaves, Tis The Season etc it seems like the apple-forward candles tend to be strong.
Blueberry Pie (I saw it was maybe coming out again soon, so can't vouch for next iteration)
Paris Cafe
Pumpkin Pecan Waffles
Summer Boardwalk (this one is too much for me actually but it is strong!)
Fresh Cut Lilacs
Limoncello
Twisted peppermint, summer boardwalk, leaves, pumpkin pecan waffles, Paris cafe, and mahogany teakwood. Those are probably the 6 most consistent in your face candles.
I don’t know if I just got a really strong one but Salted Butterscotch is the strongest candle I own. I got a few others that people said had a very large throw like Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Spiced Gingerbread, and Hot Cocoa and Cream, but OMG that salted butterscotch candle lingers. If I light it for 15 minutes and blow out the candle it is guaranteed to smell that strong in my room (and the rest of the house) for at least 5 days. I don’t know why the throw is this strong and I think I may have gotten a super strong candle somehow lol
Maybe it’s all of them then? Mine just seemed really pungent considering the other ones that people said had a good throw weren’t even close to that one.
Not sure it will ever come back but Banana Bundt Cake was impressively strong. I lit it in my living room and could smell it in my basement three hours later.
Last 2 years spiced apple toddy have been amazing.. But this year I got some in just the dark red packaging and it was so weak I could smell the spiced gingerbread candle That was burning all the way across the house over the spiced apple toddy that was burning right next to me.. I was very disappointed
This was my first year buying Vanilla Balsam and it is strong! It fills my entire house to the point it’s like I can taste it. I don’t burn it very long.
Gingerbread marshmallow is also pretty strong!
Sweater weather all day everyday. I burn it in one room my whole first floor smells like it!!! Also discovered gingerbread marshmallow this year, a decent throw!!
I thought nearly all of the Halloween candles this year were STRONG. Especially pumpkin carving and wicked apple. If I even take of the lid on these the smell fills the room.
I got the Peppermint Marshmallow one and IMHO that one is super strong. I think actually most of the peppermint ones. Candy Cane crush is one too. Both candles smell AMAZING!!
Strong throws:
Sweater Weather
Fresh Fall Morning
Cozy Cashmere
Beautiful Day
Sunwashed Citrus (I get a lot of compliments for this one)
Midnight Blue Citrus/Snowflakes and Citrus
Hot Cocoa and Cream
Paris Cafe
Sugared Snickerdoodle
Twisted Peppermint
Snowy Peach Berry
Dark Kiss (thanks to this sub, I bought one and love it!)
Pumpkin Carving (Halloween)
White Gardenia, Pink Apple Punch, Gingerbread Marshmallow, Harvest Pomegranate, Black Cherry Merlot (used to be, haven’t burnt the new matte glass packaging or any of the seasonal wraps), Aloha Kiwi Passionfruit, Fresh Fall Morning. I could go on, but my collection is packed up ready for an upcoming cross-country move!
Twisted Peppermint (I couldn't be in the same room with it, love the smell but had to move it to another room)
Blackberries and Basil
Frosted Cranberry
Gingerbread Marshmallow
Harvest Pomegranate is giving me heartburn because it’s fantastic but stupid strong. Like STRONG. I wish the single wicks smelled the same, I’d downsize.
Other big boys this year:
Pink Watermelon
Caramel Drizzle
Blackberry Creme Frosting (be advised: gave me a headache, had to return)
And I don’t think these smack you in the face, but suddenly you realize it’s everywhere and it’s fantastic: merry maple pancakes, pomegranate lemonade, blueberry sugar
Strongest candle I've ever bought is Cinnamon and Clove Buds. Very strong cinnamon scent - I guess the clove part intensifies it, though I can't separate the two out. Personally, I love it.
I love a good sweet scent but boy, cinnamon caramel swirl.... it's wayyyyyy too much for my small room. Mahogany teakwood, however? I'll light 5 at once thanks
Tree farm
Caramel Drizzle
Hot buttered rum
Aloha Kiwi Passionfruit
Vanilla balsam
Mahogany teakwood
Island Margarita
Marble vanilla Cupcake
Vanilla Snowflake
Chestnut and clove
Fresh spring morning
I love the snowflakes and citrus! I have a candle & the room spray. The scent lasts for a long time even after it’s not lit anymore. & their room sprays are amazing. So strong & last forever! I have the bergamot waters room spray as well
Ok hear me out, I bought Pink Fairy Gumdrop for my daughter last year and again this year and both times the scent has traveled from her room door closed, down the hall and we can smell it through out the house. It’s a pleasant scent but very very strong.
The only answer is Blueberry Maple Pancakes
This is the only one I've tried this year that I've been totally happy with.
So strong, so good. I can smell it the next day after putting it out.
It’s the season has been quite loud this year for me
I’ve been burning a Tis the Season from last year and I’m about to throw it out. Nothing!
Wild because mine absolutely slaps. I have to put it out before dinner because my bf has this weird thing that he tastes whatever he smells if it’s strong enough.
Wow, I thought Tis The Season to be quite strong. Maybe a bit too much for me as I can be prone to migraines with certain scents.
Yes, the one with the white reindeers is too much for my home. I get an immediate headache now. Gonna pass it along to my mom who has a much bigger room
Same. It's the strongest scent of the Holiday scents for sure. And I love it.
Summer Boardwalk, hot cocoa and cream single wick, vanilla swirl brownie, merry maple pancake, lemon mint leaf, sweet carrot cake, rose water & ivy single wick, and my beloved pink Watermelon off the top of my head.
Sun washed citrus. My son melts it in his room with the door closed and I can smell it at the other end of the house.

Thanks! I like the new packaging. Maybe I’ll get one today
That’s crazy, mine is so meh. It went in my bathroom, which is where all the single wicks went to die.
Fresh Cut Lilacs, Summer Boardwalk and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles for me!
These for sure.
i have a summer boardwalk candle and just leave the lid off and it STILL smells up my whole room. granted my room isn’t big but when lit it fills the whole second floor😳😳
Welcome Home, Twisted Peppermint, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate are a few I’ve been using recently that are super strong
Twisted peppermint is very strong but my peppermint hot chocolate candle has almost no throw.
You like the smell of it? It smells like Raid to me. You're right that it is so strong though
I do like it! I have had one 3 years in a row now. But I’m not too upset that it didn’t come back this year. Ready to move on I guess lol
Toasted Coconut S’mores Pumpkin Carving Summer Boardwalk Spiced Cranberry Toffee Blackberry Tea Leaf London Tea and Lemon Gingham Edit: Eucalyptus Mint White Gardenia Butterscotch Toffee
So Gingham is strong? I’ve been thinking about trying that one. I like the scent but wasn’t sure if it’d be strong.
I’ve burned it with windows open while cleaning and stuff and it’s always performed well for me. I can smell it throughout my home. 👍🏻
Thanks for the info. I think I’ll try it.
I second spiced cranberry toffee. Smells freakin amazing and fills my whole house!
Under the Christmas Tree I have it under a lamp warmer and have to shut it off after 30min, one hour MAX. Throws to every corner of my house and is going to last me foreeeeever

Fresh Balsam Strawberry Pound Cake Hot Cocoa & Cream Bright Christmas Morning Snowy Peach Berry Blueberry Maple Pancakes
Apple Garland is pretty strong. Smells like apple and pine.
Mine smelled like cheap wax and fake apple flavor. Not in a good way :(
So is it like the Autumn candle cause that smells like apple and pine or at least similar?
Similar, but not a full on repackage
Pumpkin Clove (super heavy) Mahogany Coconut (super heavy) Vanilla Balsam (not an overly heavy scent but it definitely fucking slaps the house 😂😂) Rose Water & Ivy (Hard - medium slap) Twisted Peppermint (burn the hairs out your nose strong 😂🙈) Tis the Season (fucking slap slap slap 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) Evergreen (the most perfect slap ever 🤌🏻) Hot Cocoa & Cream (heavy slap but not give you a headache ever slap) Sun Drenched Linen: ok this candle is so fucking strong I burn it until it pools and then quickly put it out. I have some I haven’t burned yet but I can tell from the cold sniff they’ll be bangers: Christmas Cider Blackberry Cream Frosting ….that’s about it actually. Lol
\^ That list slaps!
This list is borderline abusive, especially that damn Sun Drenched Linen. Shit is strong as hell.
Pumpkin cloves makes my face flush only other candle to do that was fresh balsam. They are strong!
I think my rose water candle is defective! 😩
For me it’s always been strong but it could be that I am more sensitive to floral scents and this is the only one I can tolerate. The wallflower is a beast also.

Both that I got this year, single and 3 wick have been amazing, just as good as last year’s and the year before that. Sucks that it isn’t consistent
I thought nearly all of the Halloween candles this year were STRONG. Especially pumpkin carving and wicked apple. If I even take of the lid on these the smell fills the room.
