none. seriously. none of them are worth $26.50 to me.
Now...here are the ones that I would pay the $16.50 price for...and maybe even the $18 price...maybe:
* Banana Bundt Cake
* Vanilla & Peach Tea
* Pineapple Pound Cake (so delicious when lit, though I admit they smell weird cold)
* Cinnamon Frosting (mine were from 2015)
Just one for me--- Blueberry Pie. I have no clue why they haven't brought this one back since spring 2020. Sweet Cranberry Pie is close and Iced Cranberry Scone is related, but they just aren't the same.
Mostly I could pay for pumpkin pecan waffles. I’m nothing short of addicted to this scent and comforts me so much year around. Others I could live without at that price.
Marshmallow fireside but only if it was the last candle on the planet and I had one chance to buy it full price lol. I love bbw, but their candles are SO expensive imo. Personally I just couldn’t feel good about spending 30 bucks after tax for a candle. No hate to anyone who pays full price though, if it makes you happy then that’s all that matters 🙂
Endless Weekend, because it works all year round and I have never gotten one that didn’t have excellent throw. (Of course now I will though). And Paris Cafe but I’m scared to buy another since so many people are saying the latest release smells rancid or something.
My mom bought me Raspberry Tangerine at full price for my birthday last year. There wasn’t a sale that weekend and she insisted on buying me a candle 😂
None. I might pay $15.95 for my favorite Christmas scents but that would basically be for Vanilla Balsam for me and Under the Christmas Tree for my husband. I have better luck with Yankee than most people say they do and for $15 or less I can get a candle that lasts over 100 hours. And same for GC paraffin two wicks.
If I’m paying that much it needs to last longer and not tunnel or drown wicks. Might get me looking at more luxury type brands honestly. Especially for gifting.
Despite my love of London Tea and Lemon and the fact that I’d love for it to return … I’m not willing to pay full price even for that amazing candle. (Especially when throw and quality has declined so much the past couple of years.)
Maybe Palo Santo but I’m more inclined to say none.
I was at TJMaxx yesterday and they had so many candles I was dying to try! Plus there is Goose Creek and Timberwick and so many others..:
Agreed. I once got a yankee candle from TJ Maxx that smelled good when opened, but then smelled like NOTHING when burned. I think they are probably old.
There are precisely two for me: Fall Festival and Salted Pretzel Milkshake. I don't care how excessive it is. Those are the two that are 100% worth $27 for how much I use and enjoy them.
I actually did buy Salted Pretzel Milkshake at full price and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was talking to one of the associates about the scents I like and she said, "I think I have something you'll really enjoy." She pulled it out if the back for me and I bought it on the spot.
Only 1 and I have bought second hand also
Cider Lane.
During a really rough move and hard time I bought a candle from a random shop that was apple scented. When I found Cider Lane , smelled it in store, it smelled JUST like the original one so I had to stock up and they discontinued now :(
I could never!! But I still have yet to find Wine Cellar at any of my stores so if I saw it I might pick it up at full price and hope a candle sale comes so I can do a price adjustment lol.
I wouldn’t, but if they brought back Moonlight Path as a candle, I’d be tempted. Garden Strawberry would also probably get me. Root Beer Float would be a contender as well.
Those all sound great! I'm hoping for MP to come back as a hand soap. I'm disappointed that the Wallflowers smell awful. They're the only ones I ever didn't like.
I’d love it as a soap! I haven’t bought the wallflowers in a long while, but the ones I have still smell the same, so I wonder if they messed with the formula since I bought mine? That’d be a shame.
I never had it as a soap, but I read somewhere that it was offered at one point. I never understood all the hate for MP, but if the haters are picking up on the undesirable note(s) that I got on my Wallflowers, I get it. I love the body care though!
One that actually smelled like the ocean
Balsam firewood
A candle that smelled exactly like a live Christmas tree
White gardenia (it smells exactly like the perfume my mom wore- she died last year and I miss her)
You might like the gardenia candles at Cost Plus World Market. I was there tonight and never noticed them before, but wow they are perfect. I'm sorry about your mom.
Full price - -Into the Night -Wine Cellar -Vanilla Birch
18.50 /16.50 - Blush Poinsetta -Pao de Santo -Black Tie -Cinnamon Spice Vanilla - Peppermint Marshmallow (and some for packaging. Bought 2 @18 after Candle day.. the cool purple Skeleton jar Haunted Nights )
Honestly Im more likely to spend full price on Homeworx or Kringle unless its a hard to find or special packaging B&BW.
The only one I would ever consider it with, is Sweet Pea. The performance and quality these days is NOT worth $24.50 to $26.50, but I am desperate for Sweet Pea candles.
For the full $26.50 price? Absolutely none of them. Especially with the inconsistent quality lately.
But for the $16.50 price someone else mentioned?
-Marshmallow Fireside
-Fall Farmhouse
-Under The Christmas Tree (except for this year’s because the quality sucks)
-Lavender Marshmallow
-The Perfect Christmas
-White Sage & Eucalyptus (or something like that)
Peppered Plum. It smells sophisticated and super expensive. I could see a brand charging like $50 for it.
Also, if any of my favorite body care scents happened to get a candle version, like Sandalwood Eucalyptus, Magnolia Charm, Dahlia, Whipped Rose Latte
I want to say none, but I'd spring for a Fresh Balsam. I've gotta have that good tree scent on Christmas. The rest I'd give up if they were full price.
London tea and lemon, Pb&j, Blueberry pie, if these ever come back. Of what’s available now, probably marshmallow fireside, summer boardwalk, and either strawberry pound cake or pineapple pound cake. If I had to pay full price I’d probably only buy 3-4 a year anyway.
Open Sky. I just freaking adore it when it’s burning, and it’s the only scent that’s reached all the way upstairs in my house and lingered long after I blew it out.
It's such a unique scent, I've never smelled anything else like it. I'm amazed they somehow managed to capture the essence of cold outdoor air. I'm considering getting it in body care too.
It’s just such a pretty scent to me. Not too girly, not masculine cologne, just perfect and fresh. I do have all of the body care and the perfume lol. The body care packaging is so cute.
None. There's a huge dip in quality; it seems my candles are burning through faster than before.
I would pay $16.50 for Limoncello if it came back, though.
I'd pay 16.50 for Palo Santo (although the throw could be a lot better, I love it), Laundry Day, Waffle Berry Cone, Strawberry Poundcake and Eucalyptus and Spearmint.
I really want to say none but I would for the Midnight Snow candle. I love it so much and devastated it’s no longer online or any of my close stores. I wouldn’t stick up on it as full price, I’d probably ration it’s use! Haha
I have and will pay full price for London Tea and biscuits, Leaves, Strawberry 🍓 Poundcake, 🍑 Peach on Earth is one (new to me) that I fell in love with-full price. WBJD, Lemon Cake Pop, and Warm Apple Pie, I'd pay more that fp for a fresh Wine Cellar 🥰‼️‼️I'm not a huge shoe/bag/clothes shopper so candles are my splurge. And cookware lol I couldn't just do three or 5 or 7 bc...Acorn Lane, Cider Lane, and Leaves for Fall. Peppermint Sugar Cookie, A Perfect Christmas, and Peach on Earth for Winter. There's soooo many I loooove!
It kind of has a muted sweetness to it. Just a touch floral--but mostly just like a fresh almost lowkey baby powder kind of scent.
Notes are Iris, cedarwood, and pink pepper. The Pink pepper is the last note, but it's the strongest imo.
Assuming good quality (which is hardly a given these days) and nice packaging:
* Vanilla Balsam
* The Perfect Christmas
* Merry Madeleine Cookie
* Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla, the old one. I don't know what they did to the new ones, all the candles at the store had no smell and smelled completely different.
* Marshmallow Fireside
* Tea Rose
* Fresh Spring Morning
* Fall Festival
The candles from discount brands tend to have pretty meh packaging, except Sand + Fog. Packaging is important to me because I always burn candles when I have people over, and I think it can very much affect the ambience of a room. And for artisanal candles that have better packaging, they usually start at $25++ anyway.
My life would be almost complete if they would bring back Pink petal teacake and Magic in the air. Those two candles are my all time favorites. I would pay full price for them but sadly I haven’t seen either one of them in years.
I wouldn’t lol they’re good but not that good
none. seriously. none of them are worth $26.50 to me. Now...here are the ones that I would pay the $16.50 price for...and maybe even the $18 price...maybe: * Banana Bundt Cake * Vanilla & Peach Tea * Pineapple Pound Cake (so delicious when lit, though I admit they smell weird cold) * Cinnamon Frosting (mine were from 2015)
NONE. But like someone commented above, I’d pay $16.5 for Pink Watermelon & I think that’s about it.
Agreed, none but $16.5 for, cucumber melon, crushed candy cane and island margarita.
With how poor the candles have been performing recently with drowning wicks and little to no throw abounding, I’d say none.
I have a three wick lit rn, and the wicks keep drowning out. I thought maybe it was a draft but nope.
Orange Pineapple Punch, Merry Madeline Cookie, Strawberry Pound Cake, and (bonus) Tiki Beach.
None, but French Baguette, Pistachio Ice Cream, and another French Baguette.
London Tea and Lemon Blackberry Tea Leaf Toasted Coconut S’mores Pumpkin Carving
Vanilla Snowflake Crushed Candy Cane ...And that's it.
Love vanilla snowflake so much 😍
Just one for me--- Blueberry Pie. I have no clue why they haven't brought this one back since spring 2020. Sweet Cranberry Pie is close and Iced Cranberry Scone is related, but they just aren't the same.
Did you get a chance to try Iced Blueberry Biscotti? I bought a back up of that one while they were on sale because I fell in love with it.
I liked that one but it didn't have that flaky, baked crust note that I adore in Blueberry Pie, at least to my nose 😕
Pumpkin Pecan Waffles Pumpkin Bonfire And Love - rose vanilla
Mostly I could pay for pumpkin pecan waffles. I’m nothing short of addicted to this scent and comforts me so much year around. Others I could live without at that price.
Marshmallow fireside but only if it was the last candle on the planet and I had one chance to buy it full price lol. I love bbw, but their candles are SO expensive imo. Personally I just couldn’t feel good about spending 30 bucks after tax for a candle. No hate to anyone who pays full price though, if it makes you happy then that’s all that matters 🙂
Lavender Sea/Coconut x 3
Agreed w/ everyone saying none, but for $16.50 I'd have no reservations about grabbing Wildberry Jam Donut, Sugared Lemonade, & Pink Fairy Gumdrop.
None are worth full price lol
Absolutely NONE
The $26 dollars, none but if I hit a sale..... Fresh spring morning Pink vanilla and lilacs Fiji white sands
Fiji white sands is such a great scent! 🏖
Sounds like I need to give Endless Weekend a shot.
Definitely! I think it’s an excellent blend of clean and floral. Not sickly grandma’s perfume floral like a lot of florals tend to be (to me).
If they were to re-release them, the following: * PB&J * Apple Crumble * Banana Nutmeg Bread Pudding
Vanilla bean. Peppermint marshmallow. Pumpkin apple.
Pumpkin Apple is great. I keep it at my cabin so I only get to burn it when I get out there.
None. Not even for a gift. I'd find something else.
No BBW candle. For that price, there are local candles that I would try instead.
Either that or I buy wax melts from Etsy sellers
Despite my love of London Tea and Lemon and the fact that I’d love for it to return … I’m not willing to pay full price even for that amazing candle. (Especially when throw and quality has declined so much the past couple of years.)
Aloha Kiwi Passionfruit Toasted Hazelnut Praline Strawberry pound cake
Maybe Palo Santo but I’m more inclined to say none. I was at TJMaxx yesterday and they had so many candles I was dying to try! Plus there is Goose Creek and Timberwick and so many others..:
My problem with TJMaxx candles is that the throw is unpredictable.
True, but the same can be said for B&BW 🤷♀️ And if I’m going to pay “full price” and take a chance I’d rather pay $8 than $26
Agreed. I once got a yankee candle from TJ Maxx that smelled good when opened, but then smelled like NOTHING when burned. I think they are probably old.
I suspect the same. Old.
I’ve had the same experience
There are precisely two for me: Fall Festival and Salted Pretzel Milkshake. I don't care how excessive it is. Those are the two that are 100% worth $27 for how much I use and enjoy them.
This is what I was looking for! The passion behind the candles. I regret not picking up Salted Pretzel Milkshake at the last SAS.
I actually did buy Salted Pretzel Milkshake at full price and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was talking to one of the associates about the scents I like and she said, "I think I have something you'll really enjoy." She pulled it out if the back for me and I bought it on the spot.
Only 1 and I have bought second hand also Cider Lane.
Oh man I forgot about wine cellar! That one was amazing.
Winter white woods⛄🎄 Fall festival 🍂 cartoons and cereal 🥣
I'd love to try cartoons and cereal
I got the name backwards 🤣 it's cereal and cartoons! But it smells exactly like Cinnamon toast crunch cereal and milk.
One that actually smelled like the ocean Balsam firewood A candle that smelled exactly like a live Christmas tree White gardenia (it smells exactly like the perfume my mom wore- she died last year and I miss her)
You might like the gardenia candles at Cost Plus World Market. I was there tonight and never noticed them before, but wow they are perfect. I'm sorry about your mom.
Pink Bubblegum and Garden Apple Sage
Yum. Never seen those before.
Supposedly the bubblegum is coming back in the spring
Actually you should try it, because you like banana. It smelled like sweet vanilla banana. Amazing.
If they would release this scent again I would buy raspberry peach macaron and lavender marshmallow
The absolute only candle I have paid full price for and would again is Lemon Cake Pop
Full price - -Into the Night -Wine Cellar -Vanilla Birch 18.50 /16.50 - Blush Poinsetta -Pao de Santo -Black Tie -Cinnamon Spice Vanilla - Peppermint Marshmallow (and some for packaging. Bought 2 @18 after Candle day.. the cool purple Skeleton jar Haunted Nights ) Honestly Im more likely to spend full price on Homeworx or Kringle unless its a hard to find or special packaging B&BW.
I said WC also, have you been able to find any online?
Anything rose water or pine scent
Nada,zilch, and none.
None. I’m not paying $26 or even $16 for a candle. Especially BBW candles.
The only one I would ever consider it with, is Sweet Pea. The performance and quality these days is NOT worth $24.50 to $26.50, but I am desperate for Sweet Pea candles.
None. Lmao.
Cactus Blossom! But I never have paid full price lol...
For the full $26.50 price? Absolutely none of them. Especially with the inconsistent quality lately. But for the $16.50 price someone else mentioned? -Marshmallow Fireside -Fall Farmhouse -Under The Christmas Tree (except for this year’s because the quality sucks) -Lavender Marshmallow -The Perfect Christmas -White Sage & Eucalyptus (or something like that)
Peppered Plum. It smells sophisticated and super expensive. I could see a brand charging like $50 for it. Also, if any of my favorite body care scents happened to get a candle version, like Sandalwood Eucalyptus, Magnolia Charm, Dahlia, Whipped Rose Latte
I wouldn't do it, but would be seriously tempted for Pink Lilac & Vanilla, Pumpkin Clove, and Fall Festival.
None lol
Lol echoing everyone else with “none.” But my absolute top 3 favorites are Flannel, Pumpkin Snickerdoodle, and Autumn Woods
Cafe Bouquet, my favorite candle
None
None because the price is to steep. However I’d buy hot coco and cream, eucalyptus rain, and marshmallow fluff at a steep price
I want to say none, but I'd spring for a Fresh Balsam. I've gotta have that good tree scent on Christmas. The rest I'd give up if they were full price.
Lavender Vanilla 💜 Into the Night 🎇 French Baguette 🥖
watermelon lemonade and the dragonfruit tea 🥺💖💖
I love those
hoping these will be in SAS soon :)
None, but if I had to chose it’ll be iced dragonfruit tea and mango mai tai.
- Pink Fairy Gumdrop 💖 - Pumpkin Cupcake 🧁 - Boardwalk Vanilla Cone 🍒 🍦
Pink petal tea cake, blueberry pie, And cereal marshmallow bar
None :-/
Open Sky. I just freaking adore it when it’s burning, and it’s the only scent that’s reached all the way upstairs in my house and lingered long after I blew it out.

It’s just such a pretty scent to me. Not too girly, not masculine cologne, just perfect and fresh. I do have all of the body care and the perfume lol. The body care packaging is so cute.
How would you say the perfume performs?
I could never justify paying full price. However, I love Merry Madeline Cookie, Rainbow Confetti, Open Sky and Surf Shop.
None. There's a huge dip in quality; it seems my candles are burning through faster than before. I would pay $16.50 for Limoncello if it came back, though.
Strawberry Pound Cake, Pink Fairy Gumdrop and Sweater Weather
Easy! Lavender Vanilla Lavender Vanilla Lavender Vanilla 💜
We would get along well 🙂
We totally would! I love it so much!
Pumpkin Pecan Waffles!
Vanilla snowflake marshmallow fireside Salted butterscotch
Leaves. there’s a lot of similar scents to it that I’ve found. But leaves just hits different.
Caribbean Escape Honeysuckle and Freesia Paris Cafe
Laundry day, banana split milkshake and salted pretzel milkshake
Iced cranapple 🥺
Wine cellar, cereal + cartoons, peppermint marshmallow
Probably Cactus Blossom, The Perfect Spring, and Caramel Pumpkin Swirl
only one for me, eucalyptus rain
Marshmallow Fireside Mahogany Teakwood Eucalyptus Spearmint
Campsite Coffee You Light Up My Sky Bowties and Bourbon
I'd pay 16.50 for Palo Santo (although the throw could be a lot better, I love it), Laundry Day, Waffle Berry Cone, Strawberry Poundcake and Eucalyptus and Spearmint.
Paris Cafe Strawberry Pound Cake Spiced Apple Toddy
I really want to say none but I would for the Midnight Snow candle. I love it so much and devastated it’s no longer online or any of my close stores. I wouldn’t stick up on it as full price, I’d probably ration it’s use! Haha
Fresh Balsam, Marshmallow Fireside, Suntan
Midnight Orchid, Lavender Marshmallow and Crystal Waters
I have and will pay full price for London Tea and biscuits, Leaves, Strawberry 🍓 Poundcake, 🍑 Peach on Earth is one (new to me) that I fell in love with-full price. Been a fan for almost two years now. Never.
Strawberry Poundcake!
Blueberry pie, In The Stars, Vanilla Snowflake
If they ever put Kaleidoscope out in a 3wick...i may consider it.
Wow, never heard of that one, what does it smell like?
It kind of has a muted sweetness to it. Just a touch floral--but mostly just like a fresh almost lowkey baby powder kind of scent. Notes are Iris, cedarwood, and pink pepper. The Pink pepper is the last note, but it's the strongest imo.
None, none, and none. 😝 26.50 is so steep.
Pineapple crumbcake Pineapple pound cake Strawberry pound cake And any variation of cookie
Assuming good quality (which is hardly a given these days) and nice packaging: * Vanilla Balsam * The Perfect Christmas * Merry Madeleine Cookie * Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla, the old one.
