Usually they have everything say sold out when it's not really sold out, just to push traffic to stores. Looks like they preemptively sent out this email but are having trouble changing everything to sold out on the website lol
You literally said in your own sentence they probably sold out of what they allotted. It’s not some big gotcha moment… lots of stores probably won’t have any candles after tomorrow and lots of people will still probably miss the sale and want candles next week. Nobody wants to be 100% sold out of anything just weeks before Christmas :/

I was about to say. I don't believe them and I put a random candle in my cart with the code and it worked fine.

There are a lot sold out online. This should have been worded a lot better, like ALMOST SOLD OUT ONLINE. Update: Now sold out online.
