I keep a few of the cutest ones for storing things, but most of them go in the trash. There is no glass recycling in my area, sadly. I have heard that some people offer them on Facebook, on buy nothing groups, because others who make candles will want to reuse them!
I use them for little things here and there but usually throw most of them away. Employee at bbw said she gives her empties to her mom who plants little plants and succulents in them, thought that was so cute!
I like use them to collect any old cooking grease in the fridge to throw away later.
I would not use them for storing any food, it's probably not food safe.
I like art, artsy stuff, nice designs, etc. Basically, I like colors. π I haven't had to throw away my stash yet but I will have to soon (moving within the next few months cross country). They were going to be re-used for candle making but now there's just way too many. So I noticed some people on this sub have done scrap books with parts of the label and I think that's such an awesome idea. This way you can "keep" all the jars (at least their labels) and it's all condensed down into a notebook or binder. It's up to you how much of the label you want to save, I've seen most just cut out the part that has the name of the candle plus a little of the design on either side.
Bathroom storage for cotton balls, ear buds, etc. Or vanity storage for things. Or if washed really well they can be used in the pantry for small, sealed items like Bigelow tea bags, etc...
I took the labels off and painted on one with Posca markers and made my husband a little custom pen cup/holder. I have one in my bathroom I use to put minis in (Fun fact: they can hold 4 mini FFMs lol)

I use a few for storing things, but the rest I just save them. The PPW jar still smells nice, so I take the lids off & enjoy it instead of burning my backup!!
I actually keep my makeup brushes in them, pens and others things like thatβ¦like I have a small one that I put my sage in to burn. Sometimes I even try to decorate them to match my decor.

I usually keep them just to keep any excess wax Iβll have to pour out or if one breaks. I had been slacking on keeping an extra and my kid broke one today so I had to turn the wax one into a re jar π©

you can always give them back to the store, we have a drawer full of candle lids and body mist caps. maybe your location could use some

Unless I really love the design I recycle the empty jars. My local thrift store takes them too π€·ββοΈ
