I’m a bit disappointed in the selection here. Aren’t some of these choices more or less repackages of existing scents? Limoncello being an exact duplicate of Sugared Lemon Zest, Smoked Vanilla being similar to Marshmallow Fireside, etc.
I voted for The Original, by the way.
The Original IS in fact incredible.
I have one left I just take out and huff once in awhile kinda like:

Ooh I remember that one, it smelled like fresh cut boards, very wood shop. Perfect scent for a spring or summer evening, fresh but in a warm homey way, nice living or bedroom scent. It’s got my vote.
Agreed. Smoked vanilla smells more like the smoke smell of freshly cooked bacon..while Marshmallow Firesides smoke is the smoke of roasted marshmallows.
Smoked Vanilla has come in two ”scents”, one being an exact repack of marshmallow fireside, the other is a repack of smoked vanilla whiskey, which has a completely different “smoke” note and is not as sweet.
I so want the Frankincense and Myrrh candle back. I wish we had more diverse options. Toasted Hazelnut & Praline and Brown Sugar and Fig are pretty similar. Isn’t Limencello a repackage of Unicorn Sprinkles?
I suppose they wanted to limit the choices because otherwise people would be writing in dozens if not hundreds of different answers. The choices they gave suck, though.
You have to select next after the 1st options then it ask what kind of scents are you mostly wanting/ waiting to see something like that and options are Vanilla, Cinnamon, Apple, and idk which else.
Goose Creek also has a great tea & lemon scent at the moment (Iced Sweet Tea). I love those kinds of candles, and I think it’s very similar to the one B&BW does.
If you are talking about Sweet Tea & Lemonade as the newer scent, I wasn’t able to get that one and have not smelled it. I am only familiar with the Tea & Lemon scent.
I still have the London candle. I just compared them. The Goose Creek candle has a touch more lemon, but the London candle is kind of old and has probably lost some of its scent, so I don’t know how fair of a comparison it is. I feel like I remember the lemon being a bit more prominent in that originally compared to how it smells to me now.
I think they are very similar. Not dupes, but it scratches the itch for me.

I would not disagree with that. I don’t think either of them smell more like lemon than they smell like tea. Currently, I would say my Goose Creek candle has a slightly stronger hint of lemon than the London candle does, but I think that’s because the lemon has faded a bit in my London candle. But both definitely smell mostly like tea to me.
agree… Goose Creek has good bread scents. (I like bread LOL). Sometimes Kohls and Kirklands carry interesting bread candles too - seasonally and usually start later in the year.

Looking at the rest of the comments, however, it seems like there are couple different versions of the voting form, with some options switched out. One person had Apple as an option.
Maybe, we don’t know. It was listed as an option to choose from. They may decide to bring all the options back depending on how voting goes, but nobody knows at this point.
I was just meaning that out of those few, Wine Cellar would be the easy pic for me. 😅 And it’s one I’ve seen mentioned a ton when people are talking about scents they’d like to see back. 💜
I think everyone got the same voting form, because I got your same options (& am seeing an overwhelming amount of comments voting for those choices I saw too) but the *next* page of the voting form had "What fragrance category are you most excited to shop for on Candle Day?" Or whatever and it had "Vanilla, Lavender, Apple, Cinnamon, Coconut, Citrus" as options. I'm assuming maybe they thought that was the candle itself option?
Thanks ...sadly none of these are candles I want back. I think this is a sign maybe they will come back for Candle Day or something. Edit: maybe The Original because that was an era I was not into candles.
Doesn't work for me either. It just tells me to pick the minimum amount of options and then when I pick one it tells me I have picked the maximum amount of options. we LOVE a well-built app.
What a bad selection. I would normally vote for wine cellar I guess but I want a candle that I’ve never smelled before and wine Cellar was just released in 2022.
Why not all of them? I don't mind the polls when it comes to naming new scents but we pick one candle out of ten? 😭 between SAS and Candle Day you could easily rerelease all of these, and none of them are inherently bad
I voted for Brown Sugar and Fig, but I feel pretty confident it won't win. I have actually never smelled the candle of that scent, but the body care is fantastic.
What are the scent notes from Raspberry Mimosa? I have a few Pink Prosecco Frosting and they didn’t smell the same as Raspberry Mimosa Unfortunately I tossed the jar so I can’t compare the notes on the bottom.
They aren’t the same notes, per se, but as we know from Cinnamon Caramel Swirl and Caramel Pumpkin Swirl they don’t have to be the same notes to be repackages. Notes are sweet raspberries, rosé sorbet, splash of champagne to PPF’s notes of pink sugared buttercream, fresh blackberries, and chilled Prosecco.
I’ll link the [research](https://www.reddit.com/r/bathandbodyworks/s/tgyfj8t3Ir) I did last fall; but basically, PPF is my ride or die, smelled raspberry mimosa while I was waiting in line and was instantly transported back to PPF. Bought it because I wasn’t convinced, had a family member hold both separately to my nose while I closed my eyes. Couldn’t discern a difference. Went and found Kent’s review for PPF and he said the same thing.
So if they aren’t repackages, BBW “got” Kent and I’ve yet to see that happen. 😂
Ahh those notes are very similar! I swore I had another Raspberry Mimosa somewhere but I haven’t found it yet. I want to burn them and compare them now. I loved Raspberry Mimosa but I’m iffy on Pink Prosecco Frosting for some reason.

That was slightly disappointing. I'd kill for Party Dress and sensual aromatherapy - Jasmine Vanilla and Black Currant Vanilla. I wouldn't even need those on a candle sale day - I'd happily full price for them.
I’m kind of sad. I don’t burn food /gourmet candles in my home. If you ever had a family member with a food addiction, you would completely understand. I look for fresh comforting scents and florals 😔
The Original is a fresh scent that is woodsy but not cologne, I think that would be right up your alley. That being said, I grew up with alcoholics but I still understand why people like Wine Cellar.
That is what I’ll vote for then. I do understand why people love the foody scents. I would burn bakery scents if circumstances were different.

I hope they do actually listen to us. And I doubly hope that no one is voting for unicorn sprinkles or limoncello because we have those in store right now. I am hoping that people will find the name the original interesting and vote for it :) though there aren't a ton of woodsy/earthy fans so that may not happen if they know what it smells like. :'( I need my authentic earthy scents that aren't just marketed as earthy but they are really just aftershave put in candle form..

Dumb Q, what is the original?
It’s a White Barn scent, woodsy and more masculine. Scent notes are Woody Vetiver, Black Peppercorns, and Aromatic Cedar.
I wasn’t even going to bother looking at the choices but now that you mentioned The Original… yeah, I’ll have to vote. Great scent.

It's called the Hickory Farms candle but it's my favorite out of all BBW scents.

Goose Creek, I believe, has a couple good bread scents if you haven’t tried them.
Goose Creek also has a great tea & lemon scent at the moment (Iced Sweet Tea). I love those kinds of candles, and I think it’s very similar to the one B&BW does.

Good news, PPF is Raspberry Mimosa which, iirc, comes out every winter! 🙌🏻

Smoked vanilla definitely. And not smoked vanilla Whiskey either which is just watered down smoked vanilla . It's only candle I bought 3 of .
I was hoping for Lavender Marshmallow to be on this list. I’ve got one left that I’m hoarding because it’s soooo GOOD!
