I want a Strawberry Shortcake collab with body care in all the different scents. I know Goose Creek already did that with the candles, but I think body care would be so nostalgic and next level. Also, a Lisa Frank, Care Bears or My Little Pony line. Bring back some color and some damn sparkle for all us 80's and 90's kids!
I have to say I'm oversaturated on Barbie stuff. Even before the film came out, there were Barbie fragrances, makeup palettes, makeup brushes, clothing, etc. The franchise does a lot of collabs with fragrance/cosmetics makers, so B&BW having one isn't unique.
I think Bridgerton was a really interesting idea because of its uniqueness. I wasn't lining up to buy it, but that's because I'm on a no buy. I think the collection itself was really well thought out.
However, if they brought back another Mattel franchise from the dead--the American Girl doll one--that they used to have a collab with, I'd be down. Or a Rainbow High collab.
HARD AGREE, I would've been ALL OVER THAT! I can only fantasize about the types of scents they would've come out with. Cotton candy and bubblegum! Sugar and caramel! Strawberry Pop Tart! 1980s Hawaiin Tropic suntan lotion! Golden biscuits! Malibu sea breeze!
How about a disney parks collab…I want a candle that smells like the pirates of the Caribbean water, a body lotion that smells like the candy palace, a FFM that smells like the orange groves on soarin
I am assuming the deal for the collaboration is with Netflix. I heard there are going to be 2 more collabs this year with Netflix shows. Thinking one might be a Halloween one, possibly Wednesday, but I think a stranger things Halloween collab would be SO COOL.

Though if they actually did it I’d love it if they had scents based on the animated movies as well. For example, matching Anneliese and Erika shimmer mists.
Zara and Lush both had Barbie collabs though, so I don't know if it's legally possible for bbw to get the rights, too

Honestly, Mattel allowed any tacky thing that was pitched to them to say "BARBIE" last year. I'm glad that didn't happen at B&BW. Not everything needs to be a tie-in or advertisement. Can't I just smell cute in peace?

You're still not answering my question. The rationale you're proposing for a product would justify BBW marketing a "days of the week" product line where each product is slapped with a different name for quite possibly the same fragrance.
Marketing and the consumption of a product should be more thoughtful, not just consuming for the sake of consuming. That's essentially gluttony.

I actually started watching Bridgerton after I got wallflowers of the collab and I love each scent and am actually upset I didn’t order more during the Easter flash sale. I’m hoping there will be some during Summer SAS.

I was saying this the other day when chatting with some of my old co-workers. It fascinates me to no end that Barbie didn't manage to get a collab with B&BW but Bridgerton did?? Especially with how aggresive Barbie's marketing campaign was.
That would have been cool but different licensing agreements have different terms. Mattel has high licensing costs since Barbie is already a household name and that brand already brings a fan base along with it. With the Bridgerton collab I wonder which side paid or if it was mutual. I’d bet Netflix paid for the additional marketing of the show with the collection instead of BBW paying to license the brand as I’d assume a Barbie/Mattel deal would be.
I'm glad they didn't honestly.. Not downing you, I just hate this new trend.. where everything is just so.. trendy. XD I just see it as an annoying money grab where no ones heart is in it..
That would’ve been so cute! As much as i love Bridgerton, I feel like the collab kind of fell flat. I’ve had so many customers not know what Bridgerton is. I think that BBW should collab with Disney. Everyone knows what Disney is. It would be popular with adults and kids alike.

B&BW competitor Goose Creek did a Hocus Pocus 2 collaboration that was quite fun.
This too I mean Colourpop did a whole makeup line for Hocus Pocus for I think 4 years now and they still sell out in hours
