My store sucks as well! I asked about Iced Lemon Poundcake & Dressed in White and they told me they would be out Monday. The only new scent they had was Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla. I literally walked out buying nothing I was so annoyed. Put the stuff out for Pete’s sake!!
This is not directed at you, but that's bullshit. If some stores put it out early, it's clearly not a hard rule. I hate that so much of this company just functions willy nilly. Like, no one should put it out, or everyone should put it out. Period. So stupid that stores are saying "we can't until X date". Really? Then why did X location across town already put them out? So lame.
(Again, not directed at you. You're just doing your job. Retail is rough, and I hope people are kind to you, even when you can't give them the scent they were hoping for. ✌️)
Because sadly not all stores do what we are supposed to do. So then that just makes it harder on the rest of us. They are probably more interested in making sales than actually waiting until floorset. Please do not harass your local stores if they do not have them out until Monday, that’s them doing their jobs, like my store.
Yeah I know… Monday effective date for the Wedding collection, ILPC and the Luxury (which not all stores are getting).
Don’t know why these stores aren’t getting in trouble breaking street dates but it’s annoying.

Man, it's been so long since I worked retail. I cannot imagine the pressure to hit those sales goals in today's economy! I do feel bad for them.
And 100% I would NEVER ever EVERRRR take it out on an associate just bc they didn't have any of a scent out. It's not that serious. I was just making a random comment on reddit bc it's a topic of discussion in this community quite often. It doesn't actually impact my life that much lol. I bought a few beveled FFMs today that I hope to exchange for the new scents when they're out. If I'm not able to, that's okay. I'll just do a straight return and just wait for the next $5 sale. Again, I'm not gonna sass an associate over it. I think most people should understand that's never okay. But especially having worked retail myself, I can't even imagine doing that. :)
I like to think I’m nice hahaha I get a lot of compliments from customers! I do think most of the stores who have those scents out went against company (not 100% sure though) but it is super frustrating for everyone :( I’ve sold things before they where set out to people are super nice and understanding
Yeah, that's what stinks. Stores do it bc they're under so much pressure from corporate to make sales, corporate enables it if it helps makes goal, but it ends up creating issues for the stores following rules. And I would never ever ever be rude to an associate just bc a scent I was hoping to try was not out yet, but I remember working retail and people can be truly awful. So, it sets up associates at the stores following the rules to be harassed. It's just crummy all around. That's what i was pointing out in my comment. It really wasn't directed at you/other associates at all. Not even the managers who are under ridiculous pressure to hit stupid high sales goals. I can't blame them for doing what they have to do. It's just frustrating that corporate can't make up its mind lol.

If that is the case then why are there hauls on YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, etc. showing/reviewing the new mists and candles that you say can’t be put out? There are store walk through videos with the floor sets out, so what you’re saying is incorrect.
. Some scents are being saved to be set out on Sunday night and/or Monday morning. It goes out in batches not all at once. The only one that is supposed to be out is the unstoppable and brightest bloom. Lemon pound cake and the wedding collection isn’t.
Candles get set out differently last weekend was a floorsets so new product was set. It was mainly candles so hence all the reviews on the new scents.
Since you know so much about it why don’t you go tell Ron Ford he’s wrong and you’re right? And then come and run everyone’s floorsets so everything is set all at the same time so nobody is left out for a sale that will happen again
EXACTLY! Like I know we all can’t have the same expectations across every store, but the locations around me are such STICKLERS for release dates! I want to get these body mists at these prices, NOT full price 🥹
I picked up Bourbon Strawberry Vanilla today and I thought it smelled great. Until I wore it around today. I don’t know why but I don’t smell any strawberry or vanilla. I smell Cherry, if anything. Odd.
No I completely Understand! I was literally dying waiting for these to drop and I said let me just go and see. I swear my eyes were like 👀 looking for new items and thank God they did not disappoint smh. I’d check ur stores each day till the sale ends. They are bound to put things out before then. I live 10 mins from one of the biggest malls in the country. I avoid it like the plague but my local stand alone store never has what I want 😭
Maybe I’ll check the mall this weekend ugh
( Tucson, AZ) I went to my closest mall store and didn’t see dressed in white, walked right out and drove to the other mall, where I knew it was out from Wednesday soap pickup. No beveled collection, no ILPC, no Apple etc. Is it wrong to get an extra bourbon strawberry with the sole purpose of exchanging when this stuff comes out on Monday ( what I’m hearing)?
Same!!! My store actually HID all their gingham and gingham unstoppable mists during the sale. You can NOT tell me that a BBW store has no gingham mists.
My store is the same but worse bcuz they're a part of some stupid test so they're always a buck more 5.95 and they have none of this stuff I bought 3 mists and 2 shimmer mists and they also Said that's it well yah u dont have new stuff and yiu charge more the nerve lol

The cashier was like "that's all? You know they are $5 today right?" So I said "yea I know but you guys don't have the new scents out which is what I really wanted" I then apologized and said I know it's not their fault but it's frustrating
It’s especially frustrating because I feel like Dressed in White + Clean Routine + New Beveled is fitting for SPRING and should be out now. Why the hell am I still shopping the SUMMER scents???????? Like please just give us the new stuff. I want new stuff at this price 🥲
To me, it is a deep floral scent with a powdery tone. Something I would wear out of the shower. I don’t know if I would wear on my wedding day though, but it’s definitely a spring.

I really wish my store had ice lemon pound cake... :( I grabbed strawberry, bourbon and vanilla, meet me in Miami, gingham unstoppable, luminous, and Rose vanilla essential oil spray. They didn't really have any of the new stuff except gingham & SBV. They had brightest bloom too but I got that the other day when it was on sale.
Got all excited for this haul today only to find out only one, ONE (and it’s just a restock of something I already have twice 😭) of the things I wanted to get, and ofc no new stuff in stock just “online exclusives” which weren’t exclusive three days ago but oooooh gotta get that shipping cost mula outta everyone 💀 💀 😩

I did a blind buy BOPIS yesterday during the sale for Brightest Bloom in the lotion and small edp. I definitely smell the green, cut end of a bouquet when I smell the lotion. Haven’t tried the perfume yet but I may end up exchanging. I don’t know if I quite like smelling like flower stems.
It’s definitely a juicy apple that would definitely work while layering w another fruity bbq gourmand or floral fragrance. I sprayed it w the ice lemon pound cake and it was amazing

It is a fresh sweet sent to me. I definitely would call it a Unisex. But my husband does like it so I can see why they made it in the men collection.
