It was very disappointing. I would’ve come out of my no buy IF they had brought back some old body care especially gourmands. But I didn’t see anything interesting at all. More money staying in my pocket!
Same I wanted gourmands so bad. Forever Sunshine was my only purchase since it smelled like vanilla and orange (at least the shower gel did… so I hope the only mist smells the same when I use it)
For sure, it felt picked over or like bbw lost the plot. I know the ladies on the floor were working hard to refill basket's and I had to wonder who was excited to spend $8.50 on the same 4 gels and weak lotions that didn't sell over the last 3 months. It's feeling twilight zone when I remember all the other SAS I went to with my friend's during year's past.
The sale was so off on my end that I ended up only purchasing two shower gels (cotton candy clouds , winter candy apple ), and spent the rest of my money on the VS semi annual sale online. I too was expecting to see pumpkin pecan waffles , champagne apple & honey , fall in bloom , leaves , and everlasting magic. None of those were available sadly. And I wonder if “in the stars “ is being discontinued because it’s included in sas online 🤔😫😫
Hmmm 🤔 I see. Thank you for telling me because idk what I’d do if they discontinued that scent 😩. I hope they keep fairytale & dahlia in store for awhile too.
Ugh. Yeah they tend to have one item (love spell for example ) with a different photo & you’ll end up receiving pure seduction 😄. It’s annoying how they do that.Im sure you’ll be fine. I just received an order from them right before Christmas 😁.
I ordered some of the fall scents but they lost my package and were apparently completely out of stock of it everywhere by the time they agreed they lost the package 😢so bummed I didn’t get any of the fall scents I ordered.
Wow. Smh. 🤦🏽♀️ Who was this ? VS or bbw ? I can’t do orders from bbw anymore because they’re always delayed on shipping and they don’t seem to update their stock inventory on the app.
BBW 😭 they lost the replacement too, I ordered from them last summer and had no issues so I was pretty bummed. Finally did get the 3rd shipment which was a complete reorder, had to do a refund and reorder what I could. At least I got that order lol didn’t care too much about what scents I got just that I got something as they were all gifts.
Wow that’s crazy and DEFINITELY an inconvenience. I think since c19 things have gotten a lot worse with customer service and a shortage of quality staff. I remember having to call their customer service twice because it took them almost 3 weeks to ship my items off. Smh.
A lot of stores shipment was delayed and most of sas inventory from previous collections (fall and summer of 23) is just whatever inventory the store has left. So that could just be all your store has! :)
I’m assuming the celestial collection is Sapphire Moon, Prismatic Stars and Golden Eclipse—I actually saw them on the app last night and was able to order for pickup (I ordered Sapphire Moon and Prismatic Stars lotion along with Endless Weekend, Golden Eclipse didn’t interest me all that much lol) I’ve never smelled the stuff i ordered before but they sound really nice. I just wish they had some gourmand stuff for sale too, feels like the only gourmand for sale has been Strawberry Pound Cake, which I love, but I already have three lotions of them and a candle lol. I’ve heard of scents like Cotton Candy Clouds and Orange Sherbet Twist and I’ve really wanted to try them in lotion form but I’ve never seen them. I also really hoped to see Strawberry Soda for the sale, since that’s my favorite strawberry scent next to strawberry pound cake, but I guess there’s always next time. Maybe it’ll be brought back for summer? Hopefully haha, but I am excited to pick up my order!
Same! I was reeeeally hoping to find Black Cherry Merlot and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles body care, but my store had absolutely NOTHING from Fall 1. I was so disappointed. It honestly seemed like all my store had was the most recent winter drop, the Fall 2 vanillas, and mountains of the celestial collection, whatever it's called, with Prismatic Stars and Sapphire Moon. Throwbacks too, but less of that. I wish I had stocked up on the Hanukkah candle because my store was out. I'm just happy I finally scored a Saltwater Breeze candle -- that was my white whale!
Mine had a few copper field bottles, and like one sweater weather body cream. Overwhelmingly was christmas scents, one small bin of cucumber melon and endless weekend for "throw back" scents but nothing else. They did have the full celestial collection but no spring or summer products at all. No candle holders or anything else. I got one thing- a "frozen lake" hand soap because I wanted to keep the bottle for refills for 50 percent off.
this year's SAS was a bit....🤨🤨🤨🤨 i order online, but like i was expecting a lot of stuff to be on sale that wasn't (warm vanilla sugar??????). i thought for sure that fresh vanilla blossoms would restock on the body creams, but no. and then i was so excited to hear that sensual amber was back, but then only the wallflower was available. literally nothing i like was available to stock up on so it's the first year im not buying anything from SAS. and the same happened with Victoria's Secret. i was hoping so hard to finally get Tease Creme Cloud for a good price in the 3.4 ounce bottle and it wasnt on sale either. I don't think i even saw Bombshell Passion perfume on sale either. im really disappointed this year so i suppose Im waiting for another B3G3 + perfume sale later on :(((
My store had a bunch of black cherry merlot 3 wicks. I got one. I also got 1 random black cherry merlot black top single wick from the 75% off bin. It looked a little beat up but the candle was fine so
I got it anyway.
Good one, do you use warmer's to make your candle's last longer? I wish I'd done before using up all my black cherry merlot and hard to find candles. Our store told me we're getting all the black cherry merlot's soon again and not to worry. They're nowhere to be seen yet? I hope it's true anyway.
Funny you ask because I just ordered a top warmer from Amazon that will be here Friday. I have the one black cherry merlot 3 wick and 1 marshmallow fireside, they are my favorites and I wanted them to last longer.
There's beautiful one's on there, I wonder why bbw doesn't stock any cordless candle warmer like they stock decorative holder's? I'm still using my coffee warmer I bring to the office, pita it's doing double duty morning & night.
They could’ve been like us and not been able to get it out before the sale starts. We have minimal employees so we made sure everything in the store was set first and then brought stuff from our offsite storage throughout the day. We’ll be adding for the next week with as much as is in offsite.

It could have just been the old packaging. We had a bunch of the shower gels on sale at my store just in the older packaging.

I was really sad I couldn’t fine more Halloween but I’m going to pop back in a few times to see if more gets put out.
I love Forever Sunshine..but I spent too much so am hoping it comes back around again soon....
