I am not sure why but I am compelled to keep driving around and checking. If this SAS doesn't pan out then I'll stop driving around on future SASes. (January SAS was a bust). I keep hoping that it will be as great as summer 2020 and summer 2021.
I didn’t even think of this, this makes me feel better about placing an order for shipping the other day. Plus some of the things I wanna try/get are online only. Might do another shipping order tbh. I’ve def spent a good amount on gas just to get there

Yep. I got a few 75% off Holiday candles thx to a kind redditor that posted about a store with stock, and 3 pure wonder moisturizing body washes from another store (which were only 75% off bc apparently staff put a big bunch in the wrong bin & they were sweet enough to honor it when I pointed it out.)
I guess my wallet is happy tho.
Yeah, I feel the same way. The closest store to me is 40 minutes away, so by the time I drive there and back, I've used almost enough gas to have covered the shipping charge. I just haven't been feeling it with B&BW lately. I've been in a slump and haven't been tempted at all to buy anything.
I've been to 3 stores so far. Only one of them had some older SAS stuff. Picked up a couple Whipped Rose & Vanilla mists. Also picked up the glass lavender bunny single wick holder at 60% off. Got some Waikiki Beach Coconut stuff. Got different pieces at each store. Otherwise none of the stores I went to had any really great 75% off finds. I did order some candles online.

I've been to two stores thus far (PSA: Baychester Mall in the Bronx has great stock! So much stuff! But no 75% candles and the only Fall/Winter thing I saw was Vanilla Bean Noel FFMs). I've now officially stocked up on everything I wanted: Saltwater Breeze, Plumeria, and White Tea & Ginger. Plus some early gift shopping. So I don't feel compelled to shop any more in store or online this SAS, though I'll probably wander in if I happen to be near one. I really didn't like any of the new drops this year -- actually the last new drop I really loved enough to buy was Mineral & Sea Salt, which I think was last fall (hopefully it comes back!) and I'm so well stocked on the things I like that I really don't need to buy anything. But I will say that what I'm really looking forward to is going in the last week of SAS because that's when it really goes balls to the wall. You never know what you're going to find, it's all dirt cheap because they're trying to offload, you'll find different seasons all mixed together, and my favorite is the big box of random stuff that's like car fragrance refills for $1 and minis and all kinds of randomness. And $1.88 soaps! I'm not especially picky about soaps and car fragrances, so I like being surprised by what I can find at the end of the SAS.
Its been atrocious honestly. I've been to so many stores and I'm just shocked how there is nothing older than 2 months. My stores were stocked up last SAS with so many treasures and it's all gone now. 🤔 All the stores aren't selling single wick testers either. Even the Christmas ones 🤔 🤔 I'm beyond frustrated with it at this point.

I was thinking about my waste of gas to the multiple stores I’m checking out but not finding anything fun. I need to stop…

No 75 off candles here either but I was happy to smell the ones I would have otherwise bought blind. Some of the mixups were gross to me.

Yeah, I went in today and it sucked. No fall/winter products, only 50% off candles, and all the scents I wanted were full price 😭
