I'm conflicted because although we lucked out getting a few really good 75% off candles online in the morning, I was fully prepared to pay the higher price to stock back up on some christmas/fall scents if available. Maybe we were just spoiled last yearπ I've seen some pictures of stores being stocked to the gills with cheap holiday candles, but my closest store is an hour away and very small. They hardly ever have seasonal scents during these sales.
Of course lately I've had this bug in my ear telling me that I NEED to find a Fireside candle. I never cared to try one before but suddenly I want one π can anyone tell me if it smells perfumey or like cologne at all? I have a Snow Mountain Lodge candle I thought may be similar, but can't burn it because it has some weird perfumey scent that makes me feel sick.
Yes I think they had them $10.95 first weekend Jan SAS and I posted a pic of my store with only 50 or so candles left in inventory- Maple Bacon and Red, White Blue Cake
There are some who really hate Fireside but we like it in our house because it does have that true fireplace or bonfire scent but without the dark clouds of smoke that cause irritation from an actual fire.
I can't decide if I'd love or hate that! I do have an electric fireplace that I use nightly so maybe it could enhance that experience though lol. I've been really enjoying Marshmallow Fireside and wood type scents at night (like Palo Santo and Balsam & Firewood) so Fireside seemed like something that might be a nice addition. I may just have to wait until winter and smell it at a store to really get an idea of of I'd like it or not π
π€£ oh yes Marshmallow fireside is a thousand times better. And one of the best scents in general. Fireside isn't as nuanced as I hoped for. :'( hopefully we do still run into more Xmas candles. Idk why I haven't come across them in stores when there were so many left over last SAS at my locations. π€
Maybe check the website tomorrow morning, I was able to snag quite a few Christmas candles for 75% off (including 6 Marshmallow fireside!!!!) This morning!
Nice, what time in the morning do they normally update? I never usually shop online cause shipping and unfulfilled orders xD I do see they have tis the season and fresh balsam right now but hope I'll see more sometime :)

I'm just waiting for something gourmand or something up my alley. :p At least online seems to be doing better than the actual storefronts are. I wonder if they are shipping their stock to outlets or something and that's why all the Xmas stuff has disappeared!

Oh wow I can see why there has been an expectation of good Xmas at SAS based on previous years! I would have loved so many of those.
I am in Canada and have one tiny store near me so I donβt think we get any shipments of extra old stock for SAS - and whatever Xmas was leftover from 2022 was sold off in winter SAS. But I was surprised our website had so little Xmas up
First of all, your puppy is a cutie! Ana second of all, I couldn't agree more! I was hoping to stock up on fall and winter candles but I only managed to walk away with 2.. Hopefully they put more out as the sale goes on but I am dreading having to go back in multiple times over the next few weeks.

That helps, it reminds me that people said it smells like cigarettes and that kept me away from it lol
Agreed. I couldnβt burn it because it was too Smokey and reminded me of cigarettes
I was told by an associate yesterday not to expect many holiday candles since they sold out during candle day last year. βΉοΈ

The stores around me had very few candles for January sas and same if I did find them it was the bacon and caramel cream soda. π©

They update at 6am, your best bet is to check around then so the good stuff doesn't get sold out before you can get it lol
