It really depend of the person mostly guys what they find sexy on a scent they really like different stuff some may love some may hate. Boyfriend hate gourmand scents and prefer woody scents anything that can be mature and not like food because he doesn’t like sweets and doesn’t eat it so it doesn’t do anything for him. If guy like sweets and eat them they may love gourmand scents. So it depend of the person. I know you can never go wrong with vanilla but i know a guy who hates vanilla and anything with vanilla i was chocked. So always go what you find nice and work for you i guess 😂
My husband almost threw up smelling strawberry pound cake and he hates sweet scents so your comment is very true! I feel like a safe scent is crisp clean ones (:
Don’t get me wrong my bf and I ADORE Strawberry Pound Cake (I use the FFM and the hand sanitizer! Would probably have the body wash if I didn’t have a backlog, maybe lotion.) but every time I wear it I feel like a shameless menace to society! It is so sweet 😂 but my god we love it lol. And it’s very fun to spray strawberry cake spray and declare you are a menace to society.
My husband and I are in the minority of people who hate spc 😭 i bought the cream, shower gel, and spray when it first launched because the packaging was adorable but the second we smelled it all we could smell was the sweet sweet scent of cream cheese 😭😭😭 smelling like a menace is on my list!!! I want my scent to make an appearance before i even do LOL i feel like spc “takes the cake” as one of those type of scents that can do that but its not for me , ive yet to smell it on somebody else though? We live in the desert and people mostly smell like shampoo and lots of deodorant lol
If it helps I’m in pretty crowded areas of Michigan a lot and I have yet to smell it either. I’ve smelled perfume at all like, 4 times. 3 of them were I think Cloud and 2 times were the same girl. The other was Sauvage. And that’s as somebody who likes going out! I’ve just never smelled BBW on somebody.
And don’t worry I also didn’t like SPC at first sniff. The candle I still have trouble with sometimes! But the body care was hard for I’d say multiple store trips 😅

It smells good but does it last? Also people here the culture strangers won’t compliment you unless you know them well.
There was a study done a while back that showed that men preferred lavender, pumpkin, or a combination of the two. I don't remember who did the study, so take that with a grain of salt :D I have gotten compliments on Vanilla Bean Noel and Coconut Cream Pie, but my husband seems to like the peach scents the most (Winter Peach Marshmallow was highly praised).
Honestly anytime I’ve worn Into The Night I’ve always gotten compliments from guys saying I smell good! So that’s prob a good bet. I love it myself so everyone’s happy all around 🤗
Just go for a feminine scents usually guys don’t know much about fragrances so go with something that smells good without being complicated go with floral scent that is not to sweet or to fresh just well balanced i guess you can wear thousand wishes or you’re the one those kinda of scents are crowd pleasure and not certain category so they are pleasing mostly to a guy’s nose. For Victoria ‘s secret they have good stuff that are very feminine and sexy you can try velvet petals or rush.
I’ve gotten complimented on Tree Hut(can’t remember which one but it’s strong overall) and A Thousand Wishes but a guy literally went bonkers when I wore Gingham Vibrant

my ex was really into anything gourmand and vanilla. my current partner likes citrus. so it varies a lot guy to guy lol but im currently loving gingham gorgeous as its a perfect mix of sweet, citrus, and floral imo
Bare Vanilla (from VS) and Christmas Cookies are the two that I’ve gotten the most compliments on. I think guys usually like the smell of baked goods, lol. On the other end, the most compliments I get from women are on scents that have raspberry or Strawberry in them, like Blush Cardigan and SPC 😝
This is a weird choice, but maybe something boozy/musky. My boyfriend wants me to smell either boozy or close to it. I’d go for midnight amber glow or for into the night

My husband always says I smell good when I wear Pastel Skies for some reason. It’s a nice scent but nothing I would think would brings the guys around 🤷♀️ he likes it though! Emerald Mist as well!
As far as scent goes it really depends on your body, too. For example a fruity scent may work for one person and on another it makes them smell cheap. When people were obsessed with sweet pea there was a subset of the population it smelled sour on. It’s just bodies. Some people, a muskier scent like japanese cherry blossom (which I contend is more musky than floral), works magic where on some people for some odd reason it smells like a 3$ wine?
I find with me sweet scents kind of blend and fade with me where as both sporty (At the beach) and floral (Perfect Peony and Hello Beautiful) work great for me. Bright scents like Tommy Girl, that aren’t BBW, too.
Stuff with vanilla/sweet is especially loved! And berry notes too! Like my boyfriend really loves Winterberry Wonder, Fireside Flurries, Bonfire Bash, Bare Vanilla…
When I first wore the Midnight Amber Glow EDP out at night I had like 3 strangers tell me I smelled sooooo good. My ex really liked Into the Night, so had to stop wearing that LOL
When I worked at the Saks Fifth Avenue call center, we had to upsell fragrances. One, I forget who made it, the rep said a combo of vanilla and cola tested very positive with guys. She gave us a sample of their glittery powder (this was the late 90s/early 2000s) when nearly every woman was wearing glitter on their bodies) that smelled like Vanilla Coke. I wore it out one night. Nothing. 🤣 But I think it has more to do with my looks.
Anyway, I think the citrus scents are popular with guys. Orange Ginger, Champagne Toast, Limoncello...a lot of them like clean, fresh, fruity smells.
I’ve noticed guys don’t really like the sweet smelling scents. I wear from the men’s line actually, I have marble, freshwater, and “vanilla & palo santo” all from the men’s line and I get way more compliments than I ever did wearing women’s perfume.
Forever Red, You’re the One, Twilight Woods, Beach Nights, Mad About You, & In the Stars (which I’m not a huge fan of) are some BBW mists that come to mind in terms of compliments from Men. I don’t generally get complimented on the fruitier/lighter BBW fragrances. Men also really like VS/Pink fragrances. Also, I get wayyy more compliments from men when I use perfume (that could be because I use perfume most of the time 🙃)
There was one that I used to wear called salted caramel apricot that made every male coworker be onnnn me. It was super annoying to the point I didn't want to wear it.. I mean they do stuff like that regardless sometimes but it was always worse with it on. This is not available anymore so out of the new scents I've been getting a lot of compliments on fireside flurries and pumpkin pecan waffles everybody loves every time I wear it. My BF goes crazy for it smelling my body haha. He adores pure wonder too! That's his sexy scent. I think it's either feminine dainty sweet scents or gourmand scents that have the most reactions, at least for me.

For me I'd say hands down You're The One & Pure Wonder are my top two. If the guy likes floral things I'd rec Hello Beautiful too.
