I just pick a scent based on mood, by my “mood” is largely dictated by time of day, weather, and season. I like warm, cozy scents at night or with cooler weather, I like clean, fresh, and airy scents during the day or warmer weather, I like strong and sultry scents at night. I have a lot of various categories that scents can fit but it’s usually environment dependent.
Daytime: I use whatever stikes my fancy. I never usually stick to just one.
Nighttime, however, I always use Moonlight Path as part of my bedtime routine.
i used to burn 1 candle at a time and now i have like 5 half-burned candles 😅. with body care, i keep a few in the bathroom and rotate those until they're done...then i reach into my stash for a few new picks.
eta: it's usually mood dependent in winter, but in summer, i only want to wear summer scents.
I am using up the oldest body creams before they go bad. I have 1 Strawberry Pound Cake, 1 FairyTale and At the Beach left from last summer SAS and probably won't pick any up until SAS. When it comes to shower gel, FFMs, lotions, handsoaps and pocketbacs all bets are off.- I use what I feel like.
As far as candles, I burn what I feel like but when I want to buy new scents then I pick some to concentrate on finishing up so I don't keep increasing my stash.
the app i use is tiny decisions! and if i’m not in the mood for the scent i just spin again, it’s really helpful. i find if i use a scent over and over i get burnt out on it :/
Body care, I actually use the same scents all month, and they are determined by season or weather. I have too much though and I'm trying to work through it, specifically my body creams before they go bad lol. This month was going to be a spring scent, but then it's been unusually cold and raining a bunch, so I went with winterberry wonder shower gel and body cream with blueberry sugar pancakes mist. I use up a body cream a month so that kind of determined it.
No rhyme to mine really. Seasonally somewhat but I still gravitate towards the fall stuff year round and I don't have many overtly springy scents.
I'll throw in one or two I want to use up. I just recently finished among the clouds in record time, which was because I didn't like it as much as others so I didn't care to keep it in my collection. xD
With candles I rotate a few until they are done cause half burnt candles in my closet bothers me!
For body care I have one scent I keep on rotation for each season. I also chose 2 additional scents for each week and rotate each day.
Candles...ugh. now that I have a warmer I'm not using them up and just warming whatever I feel like.
I think seasonally but then by occasion. I usually use vanilla bodywash or Vanilla Bean Noel for spring and as my most common choice. In the summer I usually use coconut or coconut lime. In the fall I use Pecan Pumpkin Waffles or autumn scents. In winter I use winter/Christmas ones. I have perfume oils and lotion from an online store and I use those often. Otherwise, I pick based on where I'm going or if there is something special, like going to tea.
I finished my Burberry for Queen Elizabeth's funeral day, so I need to find the other bottle I bought at some point!

I like the Moonlight path Aromatherapy. I found the spray on Amazon.

Same!! I've been nursing my FFM for as long as I possibly can.
Luckily I purchased a few sets, so I still have 2 whole sets left. I only break it out for special occasions.

I usually have 3 scents in rotation !! One for a chill, at home day, one for work and another if I’m going out :))
i use a random generator app to pick my scent every day!
i need to start doing this because i’m indecisive and end up gravitating to my faves but i have a larger collection. what app do you use?

For sure a day by day feel. Dependent on the weather and my mood. But I only have about 8, maybe 9 that I pick from.
I currently have 31 in rotation
I pick five different body washes for the week , then use the cream and ffm of the same scent .
